The people who work here seem to lack competence for simple but important details. While they do have gig jobs in the West Michigan area you won’t get paid in the time frame which they claim. Also you should not sign up for gig wage which they suggest. It’s a worthless scam. Overall bad experience and wouldn't recommend them.
Even though you have to attest in LABR that you’re available on that shift, this app does not guarantee it to you even after you’re hired for it! They will bump you off a job after they hire you for it. I had a week of work lined up in LABR and after the first day on the job (which went great) they bumped me off the list and said the client requested fewer people the next day. And I know it wasn’t my job performance because both times the supervisor specifically came to me and said they approved of my work and wanted me to come back. The second time the Forman TOLD ME TO COME BACK but this app told me not to.
If this app wants workers to lock in a workday, they should guarantee that day to the gig worker. I lined up and prepaid childcare that I am now out. this app is now costing me money! Great idea but it’s not worth it unless they guarantee you a shift after they’ve been hired. They shouldn’t allow their clients to change the amount of workers after they’ve already requested it.
Saw this advertised all over indeed with the location being my town, get accepted just for there to be no jobs available within 50 miles of me, trash app.
LABR regularly gets updated, but that also means having to sign back in a lot, or (as currently) getting a notification that LABR needs an update but LABR Store doesn’t have an update, so completely unusable for weeks.
LABR is super convenient for college students when we are in need of some extra cash. It is definitely convenient to be able to pick a job the day or two before and get paid right after.
LABR is honestly amazing. A lot of opportunity and the people who helps with all the problems or helps get you started we’re more than amazing such a great help and really friendly!
LABR makes so much sense when trying to find an extra set of hands to get tasks done quick.
