This is ridiculous

I invited my younger cousin with my referral link. Since she is younger I gave her my other email address to use. I then noticed I received 0 reward points. Because of this I emailed the support team and was helped by “Brian” he said that since my email that I was emailing him on was similar to the email she signed up with it is flagged as one person creating multiple accounts. He also stated how the name in the profile was nothing like the one in the email. I thought this was absurd!! For one, PickleRentLendFashion is getting more people by this. 2, why should he be questioning the difference between the email address and the name in the profile? Before this whole situation I had also emailed again about 2 of my friends using the referral link but once again I got 0 points! For one of them he gave me the points but for the 2nd he said that the account was signed up with the email address I was emailing him on so I am not allowed to receive any points! I think this is astonishing. He did assure me that the reward system is working but I do not believe it one bit!! I will no longer be telling people good things about PickleRentLendFashion!!

Renters beware…

I recently used PickleRentLendFashion to rent an item and encountered an issue that I believe needs to be flagged. If an item gets damaged during your rental period, you will be charged the full retail price of the item plus the rental fee, which can amount to 20-30% more than buying the item outright. Additionally, the significance of the damage is determined by the owner, which can be subjective.

While the concept of PickleRentLendFashion is great and it has the potential to be an incredible community, I hope they address these policies to provide a fairer experience for both renters and owners.

Great concept, glitchy execution

Pickle is great as a concept and PickleRentLendFashion can occasionally get the job done, however PickleRentLendFashion is riddled with glitches that lead to an overall terrible user experience in PickleRentLendFashion . Key areas are painfully slow processing speeds (saving an item to a folder shouldn’t take that long); adding your images to a new listing (+ button) often doesn’t even work which has lessened my desire to list anything; filtering by brand/category of clothing item; hierarchy/priority level in which categories are organized make no sense (is it by proximity? Or by popularity of item?); marking an order as complete (my app still shows orders from months ago as incomplete, despite the order being long completed); and overall lacking the capability to let users easily navigate back to the screen the were looking at like messages.

Clothing owners beware!

I read another review that said PickleRentLendFashion protects renters not owners and I 100% agree, especially for high quality items. I rented out a top that retails for >$500 and the borrower submitted the wrong address so my top got lost in the mail and Pickle refused to take responsibility even though throughout PickleRentLendFashion they insist that there is protection for your items. This top is still missing. It’s been over a month now. Pickle refuses to help. They say that if you agree to use their shipping service they don’t need to take any responsibility any more. I also had someone borrow a pair of >$1k shoes and Pickle’s Uber courier service guy picked it up and then a few hours came back to drop them back off to me without checking I was home. He spoke no English and I had no idea why the item wasn’t delivered and the renter was upset. I will no longer use PickleRentLendFashion

Do NOT use!!

Terrible customer service. I have used PickleRentLendFashion as both a renter and a lender. I’ve had bad experiences with both. While renting, my package was delayed by 3 days, and missed the event that I was renting it for. The customer service solution was not to refund me but instead to give me pickle credits for the same value. However the credits expired in 2 months. As a lender, I lended out a 2 piece set worth $500 (+ an additional $150 if you want to count the tailoring expenses). The renter used a courier instead of returning the item directly back to me. The item never got back to me and pickle is refusing to do anything. So now I am just put an article of clothes I love with no solution or refunds. I do not recommend wasting your time with this terrible app.

Be careful with your money!

The concept of PickleRentLendFashion is great and the users on PickleRentLendFashion have a lot of good inventory, but unfortunately the positives stop there. I’ve been on pickle for over a year and had a number of incidents including where I’ve been erroneously charged fees despite me having already shipped back a rental (maybe turn off the ability to charge late fees after an item has been shipped?), a renter has stolen an item from me and pickle has allowed them to continue claiming they will ship it back for 2+ months without charging them, a renter has damaged my item and they would not charge them for it unless I paid the upfront cleaning cost, the list goes on. I feel like I’m constantly back and forth with pickle support and they never provide me sound rationale for why these issues happen, they do not stand behind their own policies, and they act confused and bounce me back and forth between multiple representatives. If they’re collecting 20% of our earnings, they need to be providing much better support to the owners who literally keep their business running - and they also need to have things in place like shipping protection and literally just a simple guarantee that they won’t mishandle your money and charge you erroneous fees?! Be careful and keep an eye on your bank account - they are not afraid to charge you “mistakenly” and claim they’ll refund you later - after you chase them down and go back and forth with support for a few hours, of course.

Poor development

Great great concept just still some development issues. There should be no more than one listing option when searching a brand, some have several different styles like the difference between all caps or all lowercase: ex: SIMKAHI and Simkahi show up as two separate brands. Some issues with messages where it wont let you read it and will continue to have a notification on it. Sometimes has address issues thinking I am in another city for no reason: only one address is saved. Just little annoying things that could be fixed to make PickleRentLendFashion run way more smoothly

app needs a ton of updates

I love Pickle as a concept, but PickleRentLendFashion needs a ton of updates in order to make it easier for people to use. Some issues I’ve had as an “owner” on PickleRentLendFashion :
-notifications of messages with individuals are automatically toggled off for me. so I’ve missed messages before and this caused issues with renters who weren’t able to receive a prompt response from me. this also means my “response time” is inaccurate. “response time” and other stats have been added to PickleRentLendFashion , when they should be fixing other issues instead of spending time adding stats that can come later
-I needed to delete a few items because they were no longer available, but PickleRentLendFashion kept timing out. a renter put an offer on one of those items and I had to decline it. this causes issues for me, because that will increase my “cancellation rate” on PickleRentLendFashion , even though I tried to delete the two items from my closet several times.
-the “looking for” tab refreshes every time you post a comment on someone’s post and then try to go back to the main page. this is frustrating because then I have to keep scrolling all the way back to the location I was at on that tab in order to post more comments on relevant posts.

these are just a few of the issues I’ve encountered and it makes it super frustrating to use PickleRentLendFashion

Glitchy app with a lot of bugs

I love pickle and have been renting with them for the past month and a half. I find myself having multiple conversations with the support team because of bugs within PickleRentLendFashion . Hopefully soon they will have app testing or create a feature for users to report bugs so that they can get some of these changes rolled out.

Bug fix suggestions:
- You shouldn’t be able to change your counter offer after accepting an order
- Users should have an option to rate a renter after the initial prompt goes away (right now you have one chance to leave a review—if you don’t click immediately, you won’t be able to leave a review later)

Terrible app but biz has potential

PickleRentLendFashion is so incredibly awful - super glitchy, freezes often, full of bugs. When there’s a bug with the checkout process, I have to contact support to fix it, which isn’t easy because it’s handled in a temporary chat box so you can’t find it unless they ping you first

Overall, not a bad business ideas. Has potential. Just a lot of bad actors on PickleRentLendFashion that Pickle needs to figure out how to manage and better incentivize clothing owners.

Hopefully they’ll fix PickleRentLendFashion soon

Unreliable handling of money

I’m an active user and love the idea of PickleRentLendFashion . It fills a very real market problem. However, being a new app, it’s full of glitches and underdeveloped customer service practices. The reason I am currently rating it 2 stars is because I’ve encountered several times where they incorrectly handle my money in PickleRentLendFashion . They have randomly and erroneously taken from my account balance, essentially mishandling my money through PickleRentLendFashion . It feels shady and I’m considering stoping my usage of PickleRentLendFashion until they have more experience under their belt.

Glitchy

The concept is great but PickleRentLendFashion is so glitchy and the user interface isn’t always the best. I also wish you could see full screen photos of the items. Listings are cropped so you don’t always get to see the full item. Too many crashes while using PickleRentLendFashion it’s become such a hassle.

It is also impossible to receive any refund. A seller had to cancel my rental as she did not ship the dress in time and I still have not received my refund yet after 10 business days. I contacted Pickle support and they continue to give me the run around.

Improvements needed

PickleRentLendFashion has so much potential but the courier experience and customer service makes it almost unbearable. The service they use in NYC for courier delivery is so terrible, they have cancelled multiple times on me, resulting in hundreds of dollars lost due to cancellation of rentals. Their customer service is equally terrible. I reached out regarding a rental being damaged and have asked for an update for days and my messages are read and ignored. I also reached out because a balance was not showing in my account and same thing - read and ignored. I truly love PickleRentLendFashion an these issues really make me want to delete it.

Needs Improvement

Pickle is a great app concept but needs improvement due to glitches and limited features. Users should be able to pin favorite items at the top of their closet for better visibility and temporarily hide items without deleting them, preserving saves. Additionally, more search filters would enhance usability—similar to TikTok, which allows filtering by relevance, engagement, and date posted, as well as hiding viewed or unseen items. These updates would make finding specific items much easier, reducing the need for endless scrolling and repeated exposure to the same listings.

Inconsistent and very limited

So I really like PickleRentLendFashion because it has a variety of styles and brands. The problem with PickleRentLendFashion is the inconsistency between the sellers, availability, and shipping. I placed an order almost 2 weeks in advance and the day before it’s supposed to be shipped. It was canceled. I never received an email or anything! I had no idea the item was even cancelled until it was too late. On top of that the attendant basically said just go find another one. They don't even give you an option to rate the seller like its suppose to. Then theres the 1000 dollar shipping insurance which is sooooo terrible because you basically cant rent anything good if your not in new york. The majority of the sellers on their aren't even in state, so good luck renting anything you actually like of quality. They have the WORST app glitches and most of the items you save either get removed or the renter is away. PickleRentLendFashion should focus on the quality more and maybe they would see a more rapid expansion because they just lost a customer who would have spent majority of my money there!

Love the concept but app could use work

Absolutely OBSESSED with the whole concept of PickleRentLendFashion ; it’s like having a million girlies to share clothes with without having to buy a new outfit for every occasion! Unfortunately PickleRentLendFashion itself can be a little buggy which can make things difficult for deliveries/handoffs etc.

I REALLY want to see improvements with search function accuracy, when you set your preferences to show only available in your area it will still give you things from across the country which makes it hard.

Along with that I’d love to see more accurate filters by brand, color, sizing, etc. you can type “maxi dress” or “full length gown” and get everything from mini dresses, swimwear, shoes, etc.

Love the whole idea, it’s absolutely amazing but would love to see these improvements be made!

minor updates needed but still amazing!!

let me start by saying i absolutely love PickleRentLendFashion and think if you’re wondering if you should download you should!

the clothes are super cute, the interface is straightforward and customer service is wonderful.

there are a few minor updates i would love to see, that i would update my review to 5 stars for!

1. i would love to be able to filter by delivery type. right now it has broad categories like “courier & shipping” but i want to be able to further specify items available by courier only. sometimes after filtering, items pop up in my search that aren’t actually available for courier once i go to make an offer. this is my biggest one because i think it would completely change my experience with PickleRentLendFashion - right now i just have to set a distance radius (which is also not super accurate if you’re not in manhattan) and hope that when i make an offer the courier option comes up. it’s a lot of unnecessary trial and error which takes away from my experience.

2. i would love to be able to add photo reviews and see what others have to say about specific items :)

High quality items and delivery

Pickle is so convenient and helpful. I’ve rented from them many times and every item I get is in excellent condition and the rental process is smooth and easy. I also always get so many compliments on my pickle outfits :). perfect for weddings and special events, will be using frequently!

Genius App! - the future of fashion

Obsessed with PickleRentLendFashion! I’ve rented out my closet and rented clothes over 100+ times. It’s a genius way to make some passive income on your closet! Also great for renting clothes for events or nights when there’s “nothing in your closet”. I tell all my friends about PickleRentLendFashion and i’ve been on it since 2022 :) It’s been amazing to see the growth of PickleRentLendFashion and getting more attention. Also the pickle team is fantastic, honest, and any small issues i’ve had over the 100+ rentals they’ve helped solve. 10/10 recommend!

An app I truly can’t live without

PickleRentLendFashion has become part of my routine every single weekend- I was spending all of my money buying stuff at zara or revolve for last minute occasions and this allowed me to have access to anything I could ever want to wear to be delivered to me within minutes. I’m obsessed.
