Moblo - 3D furniture modeling Reviews

Tried several apps and this is the best there is at the moment. That being said, it is missing a few critical aspects and it crashes every no and then when doing less common tasks. Only allows millimeter units is my biggest grip. A save button would be nice. Magnetic when sizing doesn’t seem to be present, only magnetic when moving which is great. MULTI-SELECT is a must to allow resizing of several parts at once or copy move several select parts. Ability to have articulations for draws and cabinet doors would be really cool but I know that is pie in the sky. I will be building my project (craft desk) from the list of materials once complete but I do have some concerns towards its accuracy but I will certainly verify each part’s measurement before I cut :-). Anyway, nice job to the developer, I hope you keep this project going.

This is what a craftsman needs! I hope the developer adds trim shapes because that would make Moblo incredible! I love the share feature that allows you to import your models to other devices that have Moblo. I would like to see tutorials that explain how to use Moblo . I’m very good at exploring the buttons but it took me a while to learn how to use Moblo . It would be neat to be able to make a custom shape. For example a picnic table leg that has miter angles. I think the object snapping and object placement is perfect. Great job! I invested in the premium features because I believe Moblo will become the best app in its category.

Update: The bug I originally mentioned has been fixed. No more complaints!

I love the user experience of Moblo . I was able to build a quick rendering of a DIY project I wanted to take on. My only complaint is that when you add cubes and try to update the lengths of the sides it does not accept fractional values. For eg. If I enter 2.5 inches it considers it 25 inches which is not desirable. The sliders don’t help either because they aren't precise and even after 5 minutes of sliding I could not get them to do an exact 2.5. So I settled for 2.47. If these bugs are fixed this would be a 5 star app for me.

I like that Moblo is built on the Unity platform however its missing loads of features that would be necessary even for a hobbyist to use this in their DIY workflow. For example you can not cut a hole in an object, there is no way to draw custom shapes or cut angles into objects (think joinery) i get where Moblo could go, and hope my $6.99 helps get it there. Anyone interested in Moblo should donate their premium upgrade to get this developer moving on more features.

Moblo is amazing. I’m fairly new to woodworking and I mainly build things like shelves bookcases and boxes. Moblo is great for planning projects out and helping to know how much wood you’re going to need. Super easy to use.

This is really nicely done. I can easily try out my ideas for custom furniture before speaking to a specialized store that can build it.

I really like Moblo , but I wanted to upgrade to the premium. I can’t click anything that will allow me to upgrade and I don’t see anyway to contact support.

This a has a lot of promise but missing critical features!

1. Needs ability to print or at least save as a PDF to be printed from another source. Deal breaker for from someone does woodworking for a living.

2. Definitely need the ability to make notes.

3. Can’t space out words when naming parts.

At this point it feels half baked. Nice graphics but missing essential elements that would make it worth using.

Please listed to your customers and implement these features.

I downloaded Moblo , opened Moblo on my desktop and watched the logo fade in. Every once in a while a blue cube would appear but the screen was blank. Other times nothing. I deleted Moblo and expect the developer to refund my money if I was charged.
