Terrible App

Athli is severely deficient. Please hire a software developer to help you out with the whole app. It doesn’t log my sets correctly. If I click forward past the last exercise it will just shut me out of the workout without warning and with no way to go back into it. When trying to modify the schedule, it made it super hard. When I first scheduled my plan, I started on Tuesday because it was a holiday on Monday. However, after that, I had a leg day on Monday and another on Tuesday every single week. The description of the workout for Monday was “end of the week workout” and on Tuesday it was “beginning of the week workout”. There was no easy way of fixing this issue other than postponing the whole plan 1 week. Which left me without a workout plan for a week. I know this is a small inconvenience but it is still very frustrating considering I am paying $50 every 3 months for this.

This app is HORRIBLE! Stay AWAY!

So I’ll start by saying that the workout program is great. But Athli is a nightmare. I signed up for the monthly subscription with 3 day trail via the website. Two days in I couldn’t stand the functionality and minor glitches that need to be addressed so decided to cancel. But you can’t cancel!! Athli doesn’t even show up under iPhone subscriptions because I signed up through the website, but when I sign into the website it says I’m not subscribed to any plan. The charge for the month had already been taken out before the trial ended. Ive sent two messages through the website so far no response…stay away from Athli!!!

DO NOT BUY - extremely glitchy

I have had Athli for over a year. For the first year, it was fantastic. I loved that it gave structure to my gym days and it gave me a plan for each gym day.

There was recently a major update to Athli right after I purchased my second yearly subscription. They added several new trainers and workout plans. But Athli is extremely glitchy now and does not work properly. I get logged out randomly and all of my data is removed from Athli ; they removed the cardio option for the instant workouts; some of the exercises recommend an insane amount of reps (for example, 1,200 squats, 3 sets); sometimes the instant workouts only give you one set per exercise, so a “30 minute workout” actually takes half the time; I signed up for a workout plan, however it is not visible on my calendar so I have no way of tracking my workouts.

The update has been disastrous and my sister who is also a subscriber is having the same issues. I have contacted support twice and nothing was done to resolve any of these issues.

Extremely Glitchy

I have had Athli for about 1.5 years. For the first year it was great, no issues. I loved how organized and easy to use. However, there was recently a major update to Athli . They added new trainers and new workout programs which is great but Athli no longer function correctly. It doesn’t save data, unable to postpone workout plan. I am trying to start Glute Gain program, but it won’t organize the days I’m trying to start on. It moves all the workout days backwards. The update has been disastrous. I’ve contacted support multiple times and nothing was done to resolve the issues. It’s quite frustrating and disappointing.

Only Cares About Your Money - Scammy “results”

I suggested she create a rule that in before and after photos they must be wearing a similar cut or style of clothes, and not hike up their bottoms so that the results are more realistic. I said this respectfully and she deleted my comment! I noticed she deleted comments from other people pointing this out to. She later blocked me for that! She’d rather you think her programs give dramatic results…news flash, her clients are just hiking up their bottoms or wearing a more flattering cut in their afters which affects things A LOT. She doesn’t seem to care and is okay with conning others. She isn’t open to suggestions or respectful discussion about this…just delete and block. Pretty obvious she only cares about money and not at all about those who are giving her money.

Want to love it.

I absolutely love Linn's workouts (I started with Fitplan a few yrs ago) and honestly good for her for starting out on her own to develop an app. As a fellow entrepreneur I def understand how hard that is BUT I'm getting frustrated with Athli . As customizable as it wants to be it's not really not. The set days and having to move or swap days is time consuming and tedious it would much easier to just start the workout on where u left out or where u want to start but if I say I want to skip a leg day without swap/move the next day I'm brought back to leg day. When I just want to move forward. You can't also switch days backwards. I took a rest day outside of the scheduled and couldn't swap it for another workout day or delete it out. Another thing I do two of her workouts total shred and booty workouts plans but i can't jump between the workouts smoothly it restarts me every time. So im left to screen shot my workout from the other plan and incorporating it into the plan im currently working on. I also can't sync it to my Apple Watch so I have to use another app to monitor that. Lastly, the meal prep part you can't create your own recipes which makes it even more annoying so I had to get another app for that. Again I get it's new it's def hard and not cheap to do, but this issues makes things a extremely challenging and I keep losing focus on working out because im tired of all the extra work to get the workout I need.

Too many bugs

Update : I love the programs on here but using Athli can be very frustrating. I’ve emailed support multiple times and they have not fixed the issues. I can’t start certain plans and the plan I am on now says I already did each workout already. I just started it.

Please fix.

Linn Lowes is a great trainer. I love her programs. I have done strong and lean, ultimate shred, total shred 1 and 2. It’s been about 1 and a half years of doing her programs. I am in the best shape. What I also love is that I am more confident in the gym. I’m not wandering around looking like a newbie and while using the machines. She gives great video demonstrations and you can log your weights to keep track of your progress.

The app needs work

I love Linn’s workouts, but Athli needs some work. I’m currently doing the 6-week Summer Challenge, and Athli crushed on me several times today while I was trying to open it. I decided to reinstall, but then it wouldn’t recognize my email to reset the password. I tried all three Gmail emails I have since I wasn’t sure which one I used and kept received the message that my email was invalid. Hours later, I used one of my emails again and I was able to rest the password. Unfortunately, my entire profile was deleted including the plan. My current subscription wasn’t not there, which is odd because it does not expire until 8/19. I sent a message to this app via IG—no response. I couldn’t be more disappointed :(

Frustrated

I have been doing Linn’s workouts for over a year now and have been using the FitPlan app up until now. I decided to try her new app and I’m a bit disappointed. There are quite a few features missing and bugs to be fixed and Athli costs more than FitPlan each month. I was also charged an “international fee” on my checking account for purchasing a plan through the website. I don’t understand why Athli subscription isn’t charged through Athli itself so users can use Apple Pay.

The timer stops as well as the workout when switching out of the workout, going to a different app or locking my phone. Also frustrated I cannot link my Apple Watch or health app with this app. Athli is a bit clunky right now. The menu layout is not logical and menu is inconvenient to open when navigating anywhere in Athli . I would suggest simplifying the layout and allowing users to link their Apple Watch.

Workouts are great, app itself is mediocre

The workouts that Linn provides are amazing, and I am very satisfied with her workouts. However, Athli is clumsy and annoying to get around. My biggest issue is that if you fall behind on your workouts (who doesn’t every once in a while?), you have to manually shift each workout forward. I really wish there was a catch-up button you could click that would shift all your missed workouts for you to the present day. I’ve literally just restarted workouts from the beginning because I hate dealing with manually shifting every workout. So annoying! I love Linn and her workouts, but Athli is so clumsy that I may not renew my subscription.

App needs some adjusting

I think there needs to be improvements made to Athli. Here is what I experience every time I open Athli to do my workouts:
-Unable to perform the last moves of my workouts with the timer. Only gives me the option to “Finish” my workout and I haven’t seen any other way to start the timer.
-When moving on to the next exercise in my workout plan my timer will start going off before the next exercise move is shown on the screen.
-When I try to “move” my workout to a different day it says the action has been completed but the workout doesn’t actually move to the new day on the calendar that I chose.
I am an at home workout gal I’d love to try the other home plans. I’m currently doing the free trial and with these frustrating glitches/bugs I’m not sure paying for a subscription would be worth it. Other than what I have noticed with Athli itself, I will must say I am always exciting to start my workout each day and I have nothing bad to say about the plan I am currently using (Maisie Rose Bikini Boost 😊).

Love Linn but the app needs work

I’ve been following Linn for years so I was excited when she launched her own app. I hung in there while they worked out some kinks but there had been some pretty frustrating issues that still persist. The timer interferes with your music and turns the volume down and doesn’t go back up for a few minutes. It really ruins my workout flow especially during cardio sets. Additionally Athli will just close during my workout if I’m trying to edit weight/ time and I have to start the whole workout again and my progress isn’t saved. Really hope these can get fixed in the next update

Great, but…

This is an okay app, but changing your workout calendar is a pain. If I want to move out one of my workouts, it shifts my entire plan and my rest days don’t line up with what I selected in when I signed up. For example, my rest days are on the weekend. If I want to move a Friday workout to Saturday, it’ll move my rest days to Sunday and Monday instead of ONLY swapping Friday with Saturday. And once you make the change you can’t undo it. You also can’t move days backwards, so if I wanted to switch my Friday and Saturday it won’t let me. Such a pain! I had to restart my entire workout plan bc my rest days got all messed up.

Linn is the Best!!!

I absolutely love Linn Lowes and her workout programs, so glad I found her a year ago. I will use her plans for the rest of my life. There are some minor tech things that could be upgraded! I know how everything works & just adjust. I love to preview the workout but it does automatically start the workout so I’ll just “stop” it so it doesn’t save. When you watch how the exercise videos it stops your music but doesn’t activate the music to come back on when the video is over. Not all of the timers sound when they’re done, so if I’m resting not looking at my phone I’ll miss that my 30 seconds is up. Overall, I know these tech issues will get better over time and I know how to work around them so it won’t stop me from following a trainer I love!! Thank you Linn!!!

Best meal plans ever

This is the first app that is actually been truly relieving and incredibly helpful for me! Work outs that are very effective, completely customizable plan to meet my goals, and the meal planning has just been tremendous! There are a lot of meals where I’m hesitant to try but once I make them, they are delicious! I have yet to have a single meal from her recipes that is not good! It has made this lifestyle so much easier and I am feeling great while dropping fat and building muscle better than ever! Love this so much!

Amazing App

I have been working out for years and Athli is amazing. The demonstrations and tips for each workout has really helped me improve my form. Linn really thought of everything when it came to designing her app, I definitely feel like it was worth the money. There’s a plan or option for every type of schedule or availability of equipment. I also just have to say she spreads a positive message on her platform and is actually promoting a healthy lifestyle versus other fitness influencers.

Great workouts, app needs some minor tweaks!

As a user prior to the new app update, there were a couple things that I definitely missed from the old app. I do love the workouts and how the new app looks in terms of appearance! I mostly just wish I could move the workout dates around as freely as possible. I also wish i could rearrange the workouts in a days plan, or at least jump around!

Best Workout App In The World!!

When you are trying to build a healthy lifestyle, you’re always looking for an app that has everything you need. It’s either impossible to find or you find an app you really like and it’s always missing something. Athli! I can’t say enough, Athli has recipes, meal plans, calories, macros, work out sessions with how to videos, you put in the weight, you add the reps other than what is recommended, you are in control of it all!! I literally LOVE waking up and starting my morning off with Athli! No kidding, I did 2 workouts today because I loved it so much haha I’m so excited to get great sleep tonight and start again tomorrow.

Love this App!

I’m not usually one to leave reviews for apps, but this one really deserves it. I’ve been following Linn for a few years now and the hard work she puts in all of her projects is amazing. I used to do her workouts on the fitplan app and once she announced her own app was coming I moved to it right when it came out! All the workouts are great, I haven’t been to a gym since covid and she has plenty of workouts to do at home with bands, body weight or weights. I’ve truly seen some improvement. Athli is easy to navigate and I love that you can do 2 plans at once and schedule the workouts on the days you want to do them. I highly recommend Athli and can’t wait to see the future updates. Great job on all of it!

The best work out app for at home and gym

I have been doing Lynn Lowes work outs for a few months and joined the new year challenge. I love how easy it is to manage Athli as well as how many options she has for work out plans, depending on if I want to add more cardio to lose pounds or concentrate on glutes, etc. Also, a bonus is the meal plan options she has all right there and accessible for any meal of the day!
