When I signed up it was great . Captured my race results and friends could track my race results . Added bonus it pulled in races from NYRR many years ago . I had a great page . Fast forward to this year I tried to log in make sure my address is correct because a race is mailing the medal and it has been a cluster f . I am unable to log in , I can get in on the website just to update the profile and confirm my address. Athlinks is another story. I have tried to log in with the email I registered and it says it is invalid password or user email. Tried to do google log in , didn’t work . Deleted Athlinks and tried another email account, no dice . After 35 minutes , I give up . I can only hope that for the race , I give my fiends the bib number and they can track me as a spectator. Will not be happy if I don’t get my medal in the mail as the address shows updated . I am on a iPhone . Not sure if this is one of those need to be on a laptop type of deals . Although the account was set up on my iPhone 🤷🏽♀️🤦🏾♀️

Let me preface this by saying I love the service that this app provides. They do a great job of collecting results and providing live results. However, Athlinks strikes a nerve with me. In order to do just about anything with Athlinks - including search for a race to check live results - you have to sign up or log in. I have an account so this isn’t a problem for me personally, but I see no reason why someone should have to log in to do a simple results check that they could do online. Other, of course, than the fact that this way this app has another email to add to their list. This is a huge problem with apps in general - existing as a website wrap to collect extra data from users - and it’s sad to see such a good company fall victim to it.

I have literally never written a review about an app but this one is SO BAD that I couldn’t not write one. I just did a run this morning and wanted to view my results and see if photos were up yet. The website says you have to go to this app to view .. ok, great- made a profile, found my result. aaaand that’s about it. Athlinks is completely useless. It keeps listing on my profile that I did a half marathon in Switzerland, when really it was a woman with same name as me but 30 years older. It WILL NOT LET ME UN-CLAIM THIS RUN. And what is even more frustrating is that it WON’T LET ME CLAIM THE RUN I ACTUALLY DID. USELESS!!! No option to delete your account, not user friendly, horrible horrible app!! Not even worth one measly star.

I used to love this app. You used to be able to add new races and the results were usually updated within 10 days of the race, everything was great. Now you can’t update it so it is basically worthless. They want you to email them every time like whose going to do that. They say they are going to change it but that was 6 months ago. this app/Chrinotrack appear to be going downhill and not a good downhill.

It’s nice to be able to see my results. However, it doesn’t seem to remember some of my claimed results. It also keeps showing results for a HM in Hawaii for a woman who shares my name, but is 24 years older than me. I’ve never done a HM, I have not claimed that result, and yet it is on my profile. There needs to be an option to say “no, this is not my result” so it stops popping up.

App NEVER remembers log in information. Race results are impossible to find, assuming they have them, especially if it's a two day event with multiple races. It use to be easy to submit results, not so much now. Can't believe that races use this site for official results. They are ruining the sport. Get it together this app.

I have been trying to use Athlinks for last 3 years. Always the same: menus and navigation is different than instructions in the web site. Hard to get to the tracking page. Day of the marathon: the data streaming crashes.

Does not track athletes well, always behind, many family members have missed me during events because of this poor app. Difficult to use, counterintuitive. It’s a shame this is what most events use. When you compare it to something like the Ironman Tracker, this is extremely rudimentary. Hopefully they put some time and money into it and actually have it work well.

Not sure what the issue is but when I use Athlinks I cannot claim my results. On the other side there is a half marathon on my results page that I did not claim and when I try to unclaim it Athlinks continues to leave it in my results. I have to use the website. Tempted to just delete Athlinks on stick to the website.

Showing results that aren’t mine, even though they were never claimed. And I actually emailed to have these results removed from my profile. Also, showing my last 2 races’ results as unofficial.

Found some old races I did years ago. Today it won’t show the results from a 10k I did yesterday after I viewed it yesterday but couldn’t claim the results. Very frustrating.

I think Athlinks is fantastic!! If more runners were to embrace Athlinks, it’d be a great way for us to connect! I think a lot of these low ratings are just from people who are having trouble navigating the basic functions. My only two critiques are that there should be a news feed style section for all of the runners to see what races their “friends” have recently participated in, and a bit more visual stimulation overall (like options to post pics). There is a lot of potential here though...

I really like being able to track my races and times in one spot like this. You can’t manually add races but Athlinks team is great at taking your request and getting missing races/data into it quickly.

I almost didn’t download Athlinks because of the horrible reviews, but did so anyway because I impatiently wanted the results of a race I did this morning. Maybe I haven’t had it long enough(?), but I really don’t understand what everyone is complaining about. Seems to work fine for me. Solid UX, and I got to go back and see every race I’ve ever done. Maybe I’ll change my mind later, but if bad reviews are keeping you from downloading this, don’t let them.
