Same as the title not working on iPhone

Only shows a blank page. Contacted support but no response is received.

SmartmiLink is really unusable. I have it set as English as primary language under the preferences but it always opens to Chinese. Completely unusable. Fortunately, HomeKit works without SmartmiLink. My only concern is the ability to update firmware.

When I go through the set up process on both my iPhone and iPad, nothing appears in the wifi list. I tried typing it in manually but it still doesn’t work. No way to use the smart features until then…

I go to open up SmartmiLink for the first time Asher downloading it, and everything is on Chinese! I tried to find a way to change it to no avail (doesn’t help that I can’t read any of the menus…). I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling with no luck. I’d love to actually try SmartmiLink and review it based on its functionality, Buy the fact that I can’t even get the stupid app to display in English leads to this single star review.

SmartmiLink straight up doesn’t work. How is Apple approving this broken app?!

SmartmiLink stinks. I never had such a hard time trying to connect the device.

Very bad app. Somehow seems to have gotten worse over time. I previously could see and configure my air purifiers when I set them up last year, but now I can’t even see them in SmartmiLink . No idea how I’m supposed to change device settings or update firmware. I like the air purifier hardware but will absolutely not purchase more until SmartmiLink is fixed. Developer needs to focus on fixing the basic functionality.

Offers virtually no information, can’t really access account info, forget about device info. It is not intuitive at all - really worthless.

I’m unable to add the air purifier to SmartmiLink after I’ve already added it to HomeKit. If I try resetting the air purifier and adding it through SmartmiLink first, it wants me to enter my WiFi credentials, which I’m not going to do.

I like the air purifier, however SmartmiLink doesn’t properly show the air quality trend graph. It just displays blank. Please fix this.

Device has a build in light sensor and that adjusts depending on the light of the environment and it works well. However, if you turn on the light within SmartmiLink ( SmartmiLink) you will be stuck with having the LCD display at max brightness or off (lcd will turn off after 3 seconds). There’s no in between anymore, and the sensor will not adjust anymore and there’s no way to revert back. (Resetting the entire purifier works but that’s no ideal )

I hope this gets addressed! Other than that. The unit works great!

With the firmware update the beep is too loud now and now way to change it. We she have the ability to change it.

I’ve been using the Smartmi App for a few days now and SmartmiLink works really well! Great UI, simple, easy to follow, modern looking and actually functional. I have no complaints at all! - not sure why there are so many negative reviews. Though, I would like to suggest a few things. Some of the features need some explaining. I had to result to a search engine because I couldn’t figure out what a few features were. The PM 2.5 (then the number 000) should have a tappable (i) icon next to it to inform the user what this means exactly and with a chart showing the number ranges of good to bad air quality. There is no explanation on what this means. Another would be when you tap Air Quality on the home screen it takes you to a line chart of info with no explanation of what the data implies too. Another would be for the PM2.5 Density air quality sensor In the Apple HomeKit App. I can tell it says “excellent”, but when it states (5μg/m3) how is an average user supposed to know what this means without leaving SmartmiLink and researching it. Data with no explanation or resources is deemed pointless. I’m fairly new to the air purification world but those are just a few of my suggestions for SmartmiLink . As for the product it works perfectly! Highly-highly recommend. I’m using the Smartmi app 2.9.0, Apple HomeKit with an iPhone 14 Pro iOS 16.1

I’d love to use Smartmi products! Strong recommendation!

There was a firmware version over a year ago that did bad things but I’ve had nothing but perfect firmware for at least a year now. The Airpurifier P1 is awesome, small, and robust. Unlike many others it’s made of quality material with aluminum and leather. Mine have been quite quiet, definitely quieter than the humidifiers I also run. I don’t really use much of the smart items for these, I mostly just let them change speed as needed or turn it up if someone’s sick and I’d like more purification.

The new app update cleans up the interface quite nicely. It’s still a little unintuitive at times but really no more so than Apple’s own apps.

Just follow the instructions and you will be fine

I am not having any issues with SmartmiLink. I like being able to view the data if TVOC and PM2.5.

Only thing I’d like to see is iPadOS and macOS version of SmartmiLink.

Just ordered another Smartmi Air Purifier for another room in my house after being satisfied with my first one.

Can’t really understand why some users are complaining about SmartmiLink because everything is working just fine. SmartmiLink gives some extra features including detecting if firmware needed to be Installed and also makes that happen over the WiFi.
