TV Remote for Roku Reviews

I found a very stupid and it’s a free app to be able to turn on turn off the TV remote basically but I cannot turn the volume up that I have to subscribe to some monthly thing when I can just go to the store and buy a remote but out of convenience I download one to try and get around that and yet thisIs the third or fourth app in which I can change the channel posit do every other thing about as soon as I go to try to use the volume button and the mute button or the menu button anything around those areas tells me I have to subscribe like that’s sad and the fact TVRemote and the other ones have managed to get four star five star three star ratings is kind of pathetic like either it’s computer bots pushing the ratings or morons like this is irritating I’m probably done downloading remotes due to this and I will end up just getting one from the store and saving money and hassle

I love the remote but there’s wayyyyy too many ads it’s really annoying and makes me want to buy a regular remote just saying I’m sure I’m not the only one that feels this way. Thank you

I wish you could turn your tv on but I also can’t find my tv because we have a lot and I went through every single one and it wasn’t my tv so I don’t know how to connect on order to watch it. I don’t know if it’s just me or if it’s happened to others but that’s my personal opinion and experience:) over all TVRemote is helpful for when you don’t want to get up and get your remote #lazy but that’s me. But there’s a premium setting that you have to pay for I think it should be free.. I’m going to try other apps and see if this all is the best.

It works well, however, there are so many that it’s almost not useable. You have the option to pay for it, but it’d be better just to buy an extra remote. As an example, if you’re trying to scroll through what to watch, you can get through about 5-7 boxes over before another ad pops up, and it’s usually the same ad over and over. I don’t mind having ads for a free service but this is the most ad heavy app I’ve ever downloaded. If you pay for it, it’s probably 4.5/5 stars. I’m being generous with my 2.

I used TVRemote for a very short time. I deleted TVRemote because I don’t like all the ads. I never upgraded anything and literally only used it just to lower the volume on my child’s tv when he put the volume too high on his TV. Some how you guys have tried to charge my cash app card 8 times within one week. I’ve tried to download TVRemote . So I can see if I can fix the problem myself, but it seems like I’m barred from re-downloading TVRemote but I can download other apps with no issues. Stop trying to steal my money.

TVRemote only works if the tv is on. So in other words, spend forever finding the remote that your grandkids left somewhere, so that you can turn the tv on and then use this phone app. It will not turn on or find your tv unless unless it’s already on. If I have the remote in my hand to turn the tv on then what is the use of this worthless app. So extremely disappointed that I don’t even see the point in downloading TVRemote .

There are too many ads I can’t even move my finger without a ad popping up in the middle of a movie when I need to pause it
But other than that bro it’s great but I don’t want to pay that much money for me to turn the volume up and down or to turn it on and off

I simply downloaded TVRemote because I couldn’t find my remote, it did not say anything about purchasing,money, or subscription. I continued to use the remote until I found out it took $13 from my card without me ever giving it permission, I was never even aware that TVRemote cost any money at all, for all I knew it was a free app. what a scam.

TVRemote has been a life saver. My dog got my remote and chewed it and it doesn’t work. Didn’t know what I was gonna do,tried this and it works Great!!!

Why would you pay an extremely high “premium fee” when the official Roku remote from the company is free on TVRemote Store? Furthermore, you can refuse to use the premium version but you’ll get adds after every fourth click on the remote with TVRemote. Absolute garbage and a waste of time. For the price of the monthly premium you can buy a new Roku remote entirely. Or you can just download the official remote from the AppStore.

I don’t think you should have to pay to turn up your tv and if you guy don’t do something about it than I will give TVRemote a rating of 0 and. And I don’t think you guys would like that it’s at a three right now but it can and will go down

I have bought and paid for two different Roku Apps and neither one work on the tv in my bedroom. They both turn on the tv in the den but I have a remote for that one. My dog ate the remote for the bedroom tv. The 2nd App I tried said my tv has to be turned on My talc Roku tv doesn’t have a power button. I’m very upset. I would Ike to cancel and get a refund. TVRemote is a total waste of money. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I paid for a year subscription 2 weeks ago. Now I am unable to access my volume because of the upgrade add that is covering my volume buttons. Why should I upgrade now? There is not even an option to decline the upgrade…..

We’re the roku remote not the other one I need roku because I broke my remote how long it going to take you to give me my remote

Works really good wish you could turn up the volume without premium but it’s great if you lose your roku remote

I wouldn’t recommend this to someone I hate. I didn’t cancel during the free trial and it automatically subscribed me for a year and now it won’t connect to my tv or any device it won’t even show a list of available devices to connect to. I can’t reach anyone for customer service it’s jus complete rip off

TVRemote will literally charge you $12 dollars right when you open it. I downloaded it, thinking it was free and even after being tricked into paying $12 it still makes you watch ads. What a waste, do not use TVRemote there are a million other ones at no cost.

I don’t know if I’m signed up for a subscription or not but I know this I downloaded what I thought was a free app and then it automatically assumes that I want a subscription without actually pointing you in any direction to actually approve of anything this is really kind of irritating and worthless

I’ve just got TVRemote and the ok button won’t work! Everything else seems to work fine but how the heck am I supposed to watch something if I can’t even click on it! I really hope that you fix this but until then, I’m rating this a one star. Sorry.

but I love the headphone option. It’s very convenient，I love TVRemote! Not only does the remote work great， especially because I tend to stay up late with a house filled with people that go to sleep early.
