Veeps lacks basic functionality. I paused Veeps let my iPad go to sleep opened it back up and found that I had to start the video over. The pause button works about 1 out 10 times, same with resuming. The bar for fast forwarding and rewinding is impossible to use.

I’m not sure I’m willing to pay $30 RENTAL fee again with an app that functions this poorly. There are 100’s of video apps out there that do all this correctly, so there is no excuse for such a terrible experience. Go hire some quality developers that can get the job done.

I mean on most apps I can stop watching a video quit Veeps , open Veeps on my iPhone or even my FireTV and resume from where I left off. So you can understand my frustration.

Ending the show for what?Cause you ain’t understand what was being said????

I was attempting to watch a concert put on by this app and was unable to get audio or live action on the browser. It took over thirty minutes for customer support to begin to assist and the concert was almost half over before adequate help was given. I finally found that I would be better able to experience the concert on the veep app, on my own. Once I began to watch that on my own, things improved. However, every time a new song began, my screen turned sideways and became 1/3 size. Every time! Sometimes it happened more than once during the song! I’ve watched this same group in 2020 and 2022 through a different venue and had no problems at all. I would be very leery of giving this app any of my money in the future.

Just opens to a black screen with no content. Crap!

I keep trying to log in on Veeps and it keeps- asking me tou my plate browser on my iPad which they already are and won't let me login

Once he dropped the word “antisemite” stream shut down as if Veeps is following a biased opinion. Trash app and even trashier values👎👎👎👎👎

Why am I forced to log in using portrait orientation on my iPad? Come on, this is so basic. I have a smart keyboard attached to my iPad and I’m trying to watch the Foo Fighters video. No need to force me to turn my iPad sideways so you can shrink down the login fields and force me to use the skinniest possible view of my password manager. Looking forward to a more professional app in the future. Also, I have spatial audio DISABLED on my device and my Airpods, and yet your app is forcing this unwanted feature onto me. How? Why? Knock it off.

I’ve used this app apps on iPad, iPhone and Apple TV. Each one is buggy and doesn’t have the same features as the others. I have screenshots of all the ways this all breaks. It’s like the developers don’t test this thing. A simple press of the button to turn the screen to landscape causes the video to be small and in the corner. And the controls to go back to the other view are off the screen! You’re stuck until you force quit Veeps . I tried to use Veeps months ago, and gave up. Tried again today after an update. Same issues. What a joke.

Tried to let my family watch a concert using the Apple TV app; that didn’t work—only audio, no video. so we tried to use the iOS app and cast to the TV; that didn’t work —only audio, no video. Ended up having to plain screen-mirror, which is the least efficient method to get the content onto the TV. This was not an experience worth paying for.

No Apple TV device/app not available for Android TV.

My only choice is to cost from my iPhone to the TV. However this app provides no ability to test the system out. Might work/might not and I’m out money.

Terrible product - poorly conceived execution.

Tried to log into Veeps and it tells me my “browser version” isn’t supported. Fully up to date on iPadOS. And why does Veeps even need to rely on a web browser?

I tried looking for my favorite artists and venues and this app did not even have them listed. The search feature is basically non-existant.

I think someone needs to explain the difference between buying a video and renting a video to the people at this app.

First time user. Paid $10 to watch a Nickelback documentary - not streaming. Was surprised to see you are only able to pause - there is no functionality to go back. If you miss something, you aren’t going to catch it. Even if you paid for it (and again, it’s not steaming, but rather a documentary). Would not recommend this app - wait for Netflix or buy on Apple.

We started a concert and had to come back to it a few hours later- only to discover that the pre-recorded show does not have a fast forward or rewind functionality? This is table stakes for a video streaming app that has been out on the market for six months. Like I can’t even think of an appropriate metaphor - how shady would a car dealer be if they rolled out a car with no tires?

I really want to love Veeps. And I want them to succeed because we need more services like this. I was going to sign up for a subscription because I wanted to watch Gary Clark Jr live but the stream was cancelled. It also said on the Apple TV app that Brandi Carlile at Redrocks was ‘available with subscription’ so I subscribed but it was not on demand. It just meant that when it was live it was available with a subscription. But it’s an expired concert with no on demand video and very misleading UI. I guess they just keep the key art there to show you that they did at one point have a concert stream of hers. My guess is because there is such a limited library they need to keep every concert tile up there, even when it serves no purpose. It’s frustrating because I purchased a subscription to watch that show, only to find out I cannot. Waste of money.

It’s also extremely frustrating that I can’t just browse the entire library of artists to see what is available. There is a very limited amount of content discovery carousels on Veeps , so it forces the user to search for artists, mostly resulting in nothing because there is very little content. I’m really hoping more comes along. I’ll keep my eye out for concerts and buy tickets a la carte, but there is no way the subscription price is worth it for what is available now, especially since there is no way to even see how much content they actually have.

Bitrate was bad. Payment for the concert was made In-App, transaction successfully charged my CC but Veeps failed to unlock the purchase... So I had to make the payment from the website, which resulted in me being charged twice. I'm attempting to get Apple to refund that. No fast forward or rewind on Apple TV. Just not a great experience.

Veeps closes every time I try to click watch now. So it’s looking like I wasted 10 dollars, pretty bummed!

Recently streamed a concert using Veeps.
Had to constantly hide the chat through the whole concert. At least 25 times.
This created an continual interruption through the whole stream.
Otherwise the experience would have been nice.

I understand digital rights and how streaming varies, but it really is a bummer to subscribe and then find a show isn’t available any longer. The artist is listed, implying that they have content there (I’m looking at you Smashing Pumpkins) but then you go to their listing and find that the show isn’t available. That’s kind of lame. Veeps seems to not be as intuitive as the website. I really wish there was just an alphabetical listing of artists instead of having to search for them - I’d like browsing to be more expansive.

This site looks very interesting. Yeah I have looked at the on demand shows and festivals. I’m glad they’re showing start up bands, but this app need to get larger bigger named bands to get concerts available

Yeah it’s been my first few days just watching but to get me to subscribe just need more options like cover bands and variety of styles of music would be wanted

Love being able to watch concerts this way by my favorite groups. And as an opportunity to discover new artists more in depth.

The only reason this is not 5 stars is the feed can be slow and some of the subtitles got blurry. Had to watch on my iPad because I got No Feed at all on my computer. Would have preferred to watch on a larger screen.

Did not disappoint.

I was so impressed with the sound and video quality. Veeps was easy to use and stream from.

So grateful to have a space to watch live music. Friday and Saturday nights with friends and a concert at home is the best.

Elevation worship. And being able to watch it in your own home as I was there 🙏🙏🙏🙏amazing
