Struggling with this dumb app

Everything started off OK. Annoyed that it really turns down your music level when in FitHim . The exercises are great. Good variety, but FitHim is not remembering my schedule and wanted me to do the same exercise as yesterday. They also need to add a screen on the lock screen to go to the next exercise. So much possibility with FitHim. Take it to the next level!!!!

Doesn’t work

Was seeing some great results but then FitHim just started showing the same routine for many days in a row. Or, same body part, different routine 3-4 days in a row. Their customer service doesn’t respond (going on 8 days now). If your working out at a gym and the equipment you need is being used, FitHim doesn’t have any work around.

Equipment vs. Home/No Equipment

App shows promise, but does not allow you to choose what equipment you may already have at home. I have dumbbells at home, so I chose home workout. Home workout in FitHim only provides body weight exercises. Choose Gym and is has Smith Machine exercises, barbells, etc. There’s no in between or customization based on available equipment. It would be great to ask the subscriber what equipment they have access to and develop the routines from there. To make it even better, have it include any cardio equipment, bikes, rowers, treadmills and create a program to include weight training and cardio HIIT programs.

Music volume

Short and sweet. FitHim is fine but what made me give two stars is the feature that drops the volume of your media sources by half. One of the best motivators while working out is the music. When you need that little push, music does that for you but because of the volume decrease it’s takes additional effort just to get into the workout let alone get the push when needed.

Don’t get suckered

I bought 3 months of FitHim based on a Facebook ad. It doesn’t even do what the Facebook ad demonstrated. Facebook showed a human body where you could select muscle groups and along side it would show all the exercises for at home or at the gym. FitHim just doesn’t do it like that. I should have known better when there was no free trial. Don’t get suckered.

Has potential but…

FitHim could be awesome, but right now it’s just ok/subpar. I wish I would have read the reviews first.

1) a trial period would have been great, but most would probably cancel ( I would).

2) you need to be able to track your weights. FitHim doesn’t let you. This means I’m going to my notepad to log every exercise, weight, and reps per set.

3) after initial set up it doesn’t seem like you can change your settings.

4) why does it adjust music volume so much..

5) if you go out of FitHim to log your workout in a different app or music app or anything the timer in the exercise app stops counting, why??

💪🏼

FitHim is great. It does need some work. There is some signal beeping that I have no idea what it is. It would be nice to be able to record how much weight you were using for each exercise. Some of the animations freezes up and don’t have the muscle groups marked that you’re working.

Few changes needed

Need to be able to have a hybrid between gym and home. Some of us has have home gyms but not with all of the equipment. (eg no platform leg press.) Would be nice to be able to customize those workouts based on equipment we have. Also, when I turn off sound in FitHim it should not interfere with music levels from playlists etc. App impacts volumes whether muted or not.

Great app but has bugs

I like FitHim , and it has helped me stay on track with my fitness goals. There are a lot of really good exercises on it. My biggest complaint is that when I start my workout, it cuts my music volume in half and I can’t drown out all the other noise around me. Also, I can’t skip exercises when other people are using the equipment I need to use.

1 wk down

The animations are good, but a link to an explanation video would be good too. I’ve never worked out before and don’t know any of the moves except for push-up and sit-up.

Something else that would be good is during the break if you could indicate whether the next activity is timed or reps, sometimes I miss the first 5 sec of the timed ones trying to figure out what to do.

Another good thing would be the option to go back. When I accidentally double tap next I lose the screen I’m really on.

The weight tracking is off too. If you miss a day, it doesn’t carry over your progress. And a graph or history of some kind would be nice.

Good app with one issue

Good app with well organized workouts and short animations that demonstrate the exercise if you need. My only complaint is that the workouts disappear once that day has passed. If I miss a workout and want to do it the next day instead, the workout is gone. Would be nice to be able to go back to a workout from a prior day.

Good Work Out

I like the visual demonstrations and the countdown, but to make it better would be to hear what the next exercise will be rather than having to look at your phone.

It would be great if you could lower or raise the intensity on each exercise or offer a modified version if the suggested one is too difficult.

Other than that, I like that I can pick a 20 min workout and know that I’m repeating each exercise twice so I know what’s coming.

Seeing the muscles targeted in each exercise also helps to focus on contracting that muscle. I also like the estimated calories burned which helps when tracking calories.👍

I’m 63 and it even fits me!

I’m 63 and in OK shape for my age. I’ve always lifted light weights, and went for walk/runs regularly. I started at the moderate level and struggled. I put my ego into a bag and backed off to the beginner level and FitHim is working to perfection. Young and old should be able to benefit from this. This old guy has learned new exercises in just 2 days with FitHim . I’m feeling it.

The answer to my problems

FitHim is so supportive and motivates me to get the body I desire. The images the voice the workout plan it all helps 5 stars

Feeling the burn

After only my second workout I can clearly feel I’m hitting muscle groups I hadn’t focused on before with just weights. This program is definitely going to sculpt my body.

Best workout app

I love not having to think. Takes all the guessing if I’m doing it right at. I’m reminded of form the whole time and I don’t get off time or off track. Brilliant workouts. Hits every target muscle group

Over 50s workout

Just started with workout program. I like how we work different parts of my body each session. I also like the change up on each exercises. Great cardio workout with muscle tuning

Good workout app. Give you good directions.

Hi there. I like FitHim from all other apps I tried. This is really good for people who can’t afford personal trainer. The only con in FitHim is that there are no modifications workout for People who just starting out.

Good directions

So far so good with app. Thorough workout and like the video demonstrations for each exercise. I haven’t done strength training in some time so I’m doing whatever I have to do to complete these workouts — even if it means using 10 lb dumbbells! A good soreness after workouts.

Great app

I have been using FitHim for about three weeks now and it really helps me. I don’t have to worry what I’m going to do next I just concentrate in the work out and fallowing the steps.
I feel my body getting strong in only three weeks the other cool feature about FitHim is the remainders before my next work out.

The app repeats the same program each day. Yesterday Wednesday I did chest , shoulders and biceps. I checked the routine for Friday and it is the same. Am I doing something wrong?

I have downloaded the app from the App Store. When getting started, I get up to the screen where you set how fast you want to lose weight (just after the Target Weight screen) but there is no button to continue past this screen. Please inform me when this has been recified. Thank you
