BSCompanion is super simple to use and absolutely essential if you have your base stations in your room, especially if your setup makes it difficult to unplug them!
My only request would be to add Apple Shortcuts support so we can tell Siri to turn the base stations on or off, or at least a small new-style widget so a one-touch button can be added to my Sleep focus homepage.

BSCompanion is so helpful for easily turning your base stations on and off. I’ve used it for a long time. I recently had some issues and the developer was super helpful in working with me to fix. Great developer and great app!

It simply does the thing. No setup required
The only thing I’d like to see added is shortcuts Integration, so I can just ask Siri to shut off my stations.
Exactly what I needed. Valve should’ve made this for free, but since they didn’t, this program is perfect!

Instead of having to fight with SteamVR after a crash or Bluetooth bug I can just turn off the base stations from my phone now. And it’s incredibly fast. I wish I had found BSCompanion sooner.
If you own a Valve Index or HTC Vive Pro, this nifty app is a MUST have. I have found the Bluetooth for the lighthouses can be finicky with waking up or sleeping from a command from SteamVR. BSCompanion makes things much easier because a single tap turns on or off all lighthouses in range.
It’s rare that I’m pleasantly surprised with how simple and straightforward an app is, so I’m writing my first app review in probably a decade just to praise it! I opened it, tapped the button and my base stations instantly powered off. No scanning, pairing or other setup, no navigating menus, no ads, and no unnecessarily inflated app size (could almost fit on a floppy disk!). Just open and push button! With how software design trends have been over the past few years, I almost forgot how simple things can be!
BSCompanion does one job, and does it well. It’s great to be able to control my base stations from my phone just in case SteamVR bugs out. It’ll pick up any plugged in base station, regardless of how many you have, and regardless of which ones you have (v1 for Vive or v2 for Index)
BSCompanion has been great and has worked for several years that I have used it, although it seems to have quit working as of recent weeks. Not sure if it’s my base stations or what.
I would have paid $10 for BSCompanion. I have the Varjo Aero and this is the only way that I can turn my base stations 2.0 off without unplugging them. You should advertise in the DCS and MSFS Varjo threads. I found your app by accident after about 3 hours of thread reading. Great job!
Telling Siri to turn my base stations on or off is so amazing! All of my windows tools to do this broke and after spending an hour debugging that, I was so glad to spend $1.99 and have it taken care of instantly. Such a relief. It’s simply amazing Valve hasn’t built in this functionality to SteamVR yet…
Everything works flawlessly and saves me the headache of setting up smart plugs to turn my base stations off. Very happy with purchase. Only thing that I really really want is Siri Shortcut support, so I can automate powering on/off the base stations through voice and shortcuts.
This is a great app if you don’t want to purchase smart switches if you use a Pimax headset or if you use another tracking system that can’t power off base stations. This also works when SteamVR doesn’t actually turn of your base stations. This is worth every penny. I cannot recommend this more.
I use BSCompanion when using a combination of the Quest 2 and Vive trackers. I’ve been very happy with the convenience of being able to shut down my base stations instead than unplugging them every time. I only wish there was integration with Shortcuts. While turning them off manually via BSCompanion works well, automating this process would be fantastic.
SteamVR has always had issues properly turning on and off base stations and recently got even worse where it doesn’t turn them on most of the time and stopped turning them off. BSCompanion does it in 1 second, 30-60 seconds faster than SteamVR ever did.
Stop unplugging and constantly open/closing SteamVR in hopes it finally does it, and just use this simple effective app.
