I was so excited to see PretAManger in App Store. I go to Pret all the time, and this makes going there super easy.

I like PretAManger but I love Blank Street app more.
I have the subscription so I’m a loyal pret customer but, still. App could better. Needs some more minimalistic touches and better time slots for picking up coffee. stop emailing me every-time i order a coffee

Second day in a row -
Yesterday: I order on PretAManger , it takes my money. When I get to the location, they do not have what I ordered.
Today: I ordered and requested pickup for a hour later. My order was indeed listed as available.
I got to the store 10 minutes after the requested time, and my order was not there. They claimed the only received it 15 minutes earlier.
It seems they do not put your order aside so that it’s there. It’s just out in the case, and if it’s gone, it’s gone.
Oh, BTW, you pay more ordering on PretAManger . There are lots of other places, so…. Buh-bye, Pret.
What is the point of PretAManger?

The ordering process is fine but when some screens are glitchy. But the obvious problem is not being able to edit a coffee order once it’s been placed in the cart.

And a lot of good choices

App should show recent orders, which can easily be reordered. Also, should have option to add stores to favorites, so that users don’t have to scroll through several stores to find the store they are a regular at.

Wanted to try the order ahead feature but when it came to the selection of the outlet that I’d like to pick up my order, PretAManger is totally unresponsive.

Excited about Pret pick up!

Many locations are not open on weekends. Customer service is confusing, dodo not support

This is more of a crash app. It is dead all the time. It would be a miracle if it keeps working for 2 weeks

PretAManger itself is solid enough, albeit with a few area for improvement - being able to favorite a store instead of having to manually locate it on the map every time, for one - and as long as you’re ordering drinks, there’s nothing to really complain about. When it comes to food, however, they still have a few kinks to iron out in the process. About 50% of the time, when I order food, I will be given the wrong item, or an item will be missing from a larger order, or I won’t be given the order at all. I know the order goes through because my drinks are always there, with the receipt, which shows that I did in fact order food, but the food itself is not in evidence. Staff are always very apologetic and fix it right away, but that presupposes that I open the bag in the store to check that everything’s right, or that there isn’t a massive line that they need to get to first.

I love the subscription and the order-ahead feature - it makes it so easy to grab coffee when I’m in a rush. For the food I would suggest adding a filtering feature for allergens. I love how many gluten-free options there are in Pret but it would make it a lot easier for me to see what’s available and suits my allergens with a quick filtration

I am usually on the metro in dc trying to order and PretAManger cannot even geo-locate the store that I usually use even if I type in the actual address. This needs fixing and if there is the ability to favorite this location instead of having to search for it all the time and hope that you find it, would be a nice enhancement for self service and usability

I was hesitant to wait for my coffee for a subscription member. But now they started mobile orders for members. Saving my money and time. Finally they listen to customers what the complains are from customers. Thank you!

Fresh morning start with smiles from pret! I can’t wait!

Since the last update we can’t order with the subscription without paying… That would be cool to fix it since we pay 40$ a month

For a couple of weeks now, PretAManger does not let me pre-order anymore (the locations on the map are grey instead of the normal redish color). It worked again for a few days in between, but this seems to be the new normal now (logging out and in, deleting PretAManger and reinstalling does not fix it, trying different times of day). Though, at the store, I still see items ready for pick up, meaning this must still work for some people. Not for me however.

I do not exaggerate when I say that I keep my subscription because of them, they are kind, well coming and very efficient. All people I pret should be like them

This is a great company and app, but it is often down, and I have not been able to place any orders in the last couple of weeks. Another suggestion would be the ability to select the amount of milk desired in a beverage.

I’ve been trying for two days to create an account. I began in the train station, next day continued at the street level shop, now trying on strong Wi-Fi at vacation home. I can fill out all the initial personal details, but I still keep getting the endless circle of death in which the button never concludes being clicked.

What solved it? Turning off my VPN, even though I chose a location in the same city.

That is not acceptable that an app can’t work with a VPN. Especially for a business that offers Wi-Fi. That makes absolutely no sense. Now I will have to remember to change my password when I’m out tomorrow and not enter any banking details until after I’ve done that.

LUDICROUS!!!!!

I appreciate the regular updates. I would like to see more functionality when ordering. For example, I would love an option regarding no ice, light ice, or extra ice. And a place where you can put any additional comments for your order. Thank you.

Possibly the worst app interface ever; no convenient Google, no Apple, no Twitter registration all manual, and in the end wouldn’t even let me register, just kept referring me to useless links that are entirely unrelated to the problem and go absolutely NOWHERE … (.. kinda like this worthless app …)

… Advice to others: don’t bother, just a waste of storage on your phone and functionally, it’s a complete, deeply frustrating waste of time … .

I loved Pret in the UK and so glad to see PretAManger in the US. Pret is my go-to for lunch. Happy to see I can order ahead to get my faves, which should speed things up. App well designed and easy to use.

1. How is there not a feature to favorite your store? that’s the lowest hanging fruit there is.
2. app regularly errors out when trying to order online. it’s very off putting
3. PretAManger sometimes doesn’t acknowledge my premium subscription and asks for payment for drinks that are covered

PretAManger constantly malfunctions and doesn’t alert when there’s an open location nearby. I confirmed the store is open but it doesn’t reflect on PretAManger for mobile order. Now, PretAManger malfunctions when you click on the store but doesn’t allow to choose what time you want to pick up.

My biggest gripe is what feels like multiple times per week I need to update PretAManger to use it. Please don’t force update to use PretAManger with every single update. App is decent. I need to double tap to get to iced coffee (first tap only half works) so that could be fixed.

And a lot of good choices

I used to be able to order but I can’t now. I get an error message every time. Basically telling me to stay calm. Which is the worst thing to say to someone experiencing errors. Is this because my iphone is a 13? I’m about ready to cancel my coffee subscription.

I use PretAManger everyday to order my coffee ahead to pick up and love it. The one thing that is surprisingly missing is the option to choose a favorite location. I order from the same shop every day and I always have to scroll through the long list of available shops in order to select mine. It would be great and much more efficient (especially when you are trying to order from the subway before losing service) to just be able to default to your usual shop or at least have a favorite shop to easily select. The order history is kept using the “order again” function so it is not a far push to keep the shop history. Thank you!

I’m a heavy coffee drinker and I love the Pret subscription. However, PretAManger experience is so inconsistent and malfunctions all the time. There are many nice-to-have functions that I wish PretAManger had but I understand they take time to develop. I’ll just focus on all the errors I have encountered so far.

1. Options not showing up in customization page. This happens very often. Once you choose your drink to customize, all the milk, flavor, add-on options won’t show. Instead, you can only see the circles next to those options.
2. Not available error. This happens either when you are selecting a location or an item. PretAManger will process your selection for a bit then errors out.
3. Store not receiving order and multiple confirmation emails. This started happening more recently, specifically at the Broad Street location. When you place an order and then go to the store, they will not have your order. And instead, you’ll have to show the confirmation page on PretAManger and verbally tell them what you ordered so that they can make it for you. And I noticed that when this happens, I would get a confirmation email from that particular order every 10 minutes for an hour or two.
4. The online ordering has been down all day today 10/3. PretAManger shows “Pret Pick Up is Closed”.

Every single day for the last year that I’ve been using PretAManger, I get constant errors where I have to either redo my whole order or I don’t even get the option to redo the order because the error keeps persisting.
Not to mention, the search bar for locations has never worked for me either. I constantly have to manually scroll through all of the locations until I find the one I want.
Something really need to be done about this.

I have eaten at Pret maybe two or three times a week for years. I love the food. But PretAManger is terrible. I have got it to work maybe twice? And I try most days! Each time I tap on a location— and there are about five in walking distance from my office in NYC—PretAManger tells me something went wrong. I’ve closed and reopened PretAManger . I’ve restarted the phone. No dice. Also both times that I got it to work the food was not ready, and one of the times they were completely out of the soup I ordered and the order was cancelled and I was never informed. I’d stop going if it wasn’t for the food, which I guess the important thing.

I love PretAManger and my subscription, but it would be even better to have an option for favorite locations. I order ahead while on the subway so I’m not near my usual store and have to use the map to find it. Having an option for favorite/recently used locations (like most other apps have) would be great.
