Oct 2024 - decided to write a review because it was too frustrating. BofAGlobalCardAccess and its glacially slow login process / refresh process belong to apps from ten years ago. For something as simple as listing recent transactions and statements - it takes very long to load. stepping away from BofAGlobalCardAccess times you out and it takes more than a minute to relogin and reload. very problematic when trying to use this alongside concur, to check for expenses. Why can’t the developers just cache the recent statements and transactions - instead of loading the full list each time on their stupidly slow backend. This feels amateurish and clunky - compare it with Amex mobile app which is much better user experience.
Don't believe a single 5 star review. The only reason you can have a set of reviews with only 1 and 5 star reviews is that the 1 star are true and the 5 star are fake. Worst banking app I've ever seen or tried to use. And trying to use is the right term because the functionality is so so poor that there's really no use in trying. You can't see anything other than the current usage. You can't access old statements or search for old transactions.
Perfect example - had to make a big purchase on my company card. It was flagged for fraud. Instead of getting a notification thru BofAGlobalCardAccess , I get an email. I call the fraud line only to get put on a long hold. So to be fair BofA's customer service is as bad as BofAGlobalCardAccess .
BofAGlobalCardAccess is a joke.
Fails at the very basics - won’t accept working user name and MISLABELED “Passcode” aka Password.
I verified and re-verified my password. Can’t log in. Waste of time.
Says there’s an issue and I can’t login. Says to confirm I’m on most updated in the store which I am.
Slow, buggy, doesn’t even allow you to enter your password correctly. This is an abomination
Just downloaded BofAGlobalCardAccess and the first thing it says is that I need to update BofAGlobalCardAccess ! So the rest of BofAGlobalCardAccess is completely useless until B of A fixes it
Does not instill confidence that this company can keep my personal data, identity, credit, and money safe. Not sure why my company changes to BOFA. App doesn’t work
I find it incredible that an app that is supposed to support corporate users doesn’t work and hasn’t worked for quite some time. I wish I had the authority to move to another bank, I’d do it in a heartbeat!
The Robot I talked to on the phone talked over me, was anything but friendly and on a complete superiority kick. Not capable of listening or connecting on a human level. In short, she was the polar opposite of a skill set any coporation would be looking for in a CSR candidate. Hire better B of A.
Absolutely terrible app. Does nothing except show you your current account. Can’t even do the SIMPLEST task of ordering a new card. Yall should be ashamed at being a massive corporation and having a worse banking app than my town of 2000.
You would think for a bank they would have a reliable app. Downloaded BofAGlobalCardAccess and it said I needed an update even though I just downloaded it. Tried deleting and reinstalling and it still doesn’t work.
Doesn’t work, just recently downloaded BofAGlobalCardAccess and for some odd reason it is requiring an update. I’ve tried multiple times updating BofAGlobalCardAccess , I’ve even deleted and reinstalled but to no avail. In order to use BofAGlobalCardAccess it must be updated. -_-
As other reviews have mentioned, BofAGlobalCardAccess currently won’t let you do anything without an “update” but there is no new update as of now. I just downloaded BofAGlobalCardAccess and it was like this from the very first time I tried to open BofAGlobalCardAccess . What’s even worse is that B of A seems to know how bad their app is and has no interest in fixing it, only in writing obviously fake 5-star reviews to try to fix BofAGlobalCardAccess ’s terrible rating. Look at the review distribution. There’s a ton of fake 5-star reviews inflating the score, but look at all the 1-stars. Those are the real ratings
This is easily the most primitive banking app I have ever seen - the UI would have appeared out-of-date 20 years ago, the navigation is so unintuitive that I almost have to believe that B of A was trying to make it difficult to use, and you can’t even submit a payment for your card using BofAGlobalCardAccess .
My company switched from Amex corporate card services to B of A, and the B of A access app alone makes me wish that the change had never occurred.
I don’t say this lightly, but whoever designed BofAGlobalCardAccess should be ashamed, and the executive at B of A approved BofAGlobalCardAccess for release should be fired. BofAGlobalCardAccess is by a very wide measure the worst card app I have ever seen, from any bank, bar none.
Requires an update to run but there is no update. Uninstalled and reinstalled, but it still fails due to an unobtainable update. At least I’m not stranded while traveling.
BofAGlobalCardAccess has undergone an awesome update, works GREAT! Enjoy the ease of navigating BofAGlobalCardAccess and reviewing my charges and statements.
New features and functionality are great. I love to be able to self service my card.
GCA is intuitive and makes it very easy to stay on top of my Corp Card activity. I especially like the ability to review my pin as more and more hotels are requiring it at check in.
