Fax from Phone : Send Fax Reviews

It doesn't come up often, but when I do get asked to fax something I usually have no idea where to start. I don't have a fax machine at home (like so many others these days) and sometimes I just can't find the time to make another stop in my day to do so. This handy app takes all of that stress away by letting you fax things directly from your phone. The document preview is great for making sure it won't look awful on the other end. Whether you import or take the photo with your phone, your documents will look professional in no time. While FaxfromPhone itself is free, actually faxing something costs money. This is no surprise since you'll be charged to fax if you go into an office supplies store or something similar. Do a simple in-app purchase for credits and that's it! No big hassle and you'll have plenty of credits for later faxes, for a small price. Definitely worth the download if you work from home, on the go, or just don't want to mess with the fax machine in the office. ;)

FaxfromPhone works just like you would expect a fax app to work: use the camera to capture images of documents, apply some rudimentary image quality filters, enter number, and send. What I don’t like:1. When dragging corners into place on a scan, my fat stump fingers cover the entire zoom area circle and I can’t see where I’m dragging the corner to. I’m on iPhone 6s Plus. Can’t imagine how much worse it would be on a smaller size phone.2. Non-intuitive options for how to go from scanning screen to faxing screen.3. Each scanned page of a document is saved as a separate document file. Foolish of me to expect that it would save as a single multi-page document, like many other fax apps do. 4. Subscription options only. Ok, there’s no free cheese, I get it. But if I only need to send one single fax in the foreseeable future, a subscription, even a week long one, is complete overkill. 5. Subscription pricing. It’s COVID-19 “shelter in place”. Funds are tight if not non-existent. Ugh.

I have been using the Efax app for four years and we love FaxfromPhone . It’s so easy and it works great. I have never had any problems or outages ever. They even changed my fax number to a local number after we moved twice and without a charge. It’s so convenient to be able to access my faxes right from my phone instead of having to wait until I would get home to look at the fax. Then I’m able to print out the fax for my next days work. Previously before Efax I kept a home phone just so I could have a fax, but I had to wait until I got home to get them. And do I have to mention the cost of that home phone just to be able to have the fax. I used to pay $22 a month for that home phone plus you know they add taxes & fees, now I only pay about half that and I’m charged once a year on my business credit card.

A great app that could be awesome with a couple of changes.I really needed to FAX some papers in a hurry and being in a small town in the middle of nowhere there really isn’t options, so I decided to see if I could find a way to fax straight from my device and I found FaxfromPhone. I love that you can send a fax in minutes from anywhere on your devices.I also absolutely love that I can pull documents from just about any other app! This made it easier and faster due to needing to fax documents that I had in multiple apps in one fax.I am disappointed in not being able to see the pages that were previously faxed. Also, that I had to buy more credits than I needed instead of just paying for just what I needed faxed at the moment. I would most likely change my rating to a 5 star if these things were implemented.

I used to pay for a month fax service that I used with my scanner. However, it was way too pricey so I was looking for an app on my phone that would be affordable but also easy to use and sends my weekly faxes 'on time'. I decided to give this faxing app a try 5 months ago now and it has been SO convenient and reliable. It is one of my best go-to apps on my iPhone. I just purchase 50 credits (pay as I go) through FaxfromPhone . Then I take a photo of my docs on my iPhone or you can choose a doc among your photos. The docs look great in the fax mode, which you can see before you fax them. You then enter the fax number and you can add a cover letter (if applicable) and then fax. All of my faxes are sent within 2-5 mins. and I see the SUCCESS prompt when it's finished. If the fax number is incorrect, it lets you know that too.

x that you need. And not only that, the beauty of its simplistic design is very aesthetically pleasing. Unlike other apps, whose UI is clunky and difficult to work with, FaxfromPhone's UI is easy to use, even for technology beginners. The direction the developers went with making sure that it is easy to use is certainly a main selling point. You only need to input a recipient and chose a fax to send, and presto, it's sent. It doesn't get any simpler than that. I've tried a number of fax apps before but they just don't amount to the quality of this one. I would undoubtedly recommend FaxfromPhone to anyone that asks. I cannot stress this enough, FaxfromPhone is wonderful. Easy, simple, and beautiful. It is anything and everything you could ever ask for in an app. So stop reading this and go download it. It's risk free, and you won't regret it.

I read all the reviews and except for 1, they were all describing dismal experiences with FaxfromPhone. Seems the number 1 complaint was the inability to view SENT or RECEIVED faxes. I decided to try it anyway to see for myself. Granted, I have only had it 5 minutes so far, but that was enough time to open 5 faxes from my inbox and 3 from my sent box. Not sure if an update was sent out to address the number 1 complaint, but I am able to see the faxes just fine. I have not tried to compose and send a fax yet nor have I fiddled around with it long enough to see if it crashes or not, but so far so good. If you are new to Efax or have had problems viewing faxes with FaxfromPhone in the past, try out the latest version. All previous problems SEEM to have been addressed and resolved.

I dont usually do reviews but here I go. FaxfromPhone works. I do a lot of Faxing to the government (IRS) and FaxfromPhone is wonderful. However, once the documents are faxed - when you go to the history/list of faxes sent there is a list of all your faxes but you don't know which one is which because all you see is the list of fax numbers. There is no name of who you faxed to even if you select from your contacts. Also, you don't get to see exactly what you faxed because there is no record of it anywhere - again only the fax numbers. So if you need proof of what you faxed and you need to know or keep track of whom you faxed to than FaxfromPhone is not for you. But again, it does get the job done of getting your faxes to the recipient. My score is 3.5 for this reason.

It was very easy to use and the fax sent very quickly. The interface of FaxfromPhone allowed me to figure out how to send a fax within seconds of opening FaxfromPhone . Their FAQ page is very informative as well so if you have a question that page has a high likelihood of answering your question. The best feature for me is the fact that you can fax pictures very easily. FaxfromPhone is targeted at business people but other people could find very similar uses for it. Overall FaxfromPhone is incredible for the price and I think it's a must have for anyone.

FaxfromPhone too expensive without some key features that are missing. It is very basic with a full feature price tag. I was in a hurry to get something to the government or I would have gotten a better app. Issues:1) you can鈥毭劽磘 go back and edit your cover page if you notice something wrong before sending. You have to start over again. 2) it doesn鈥毭劽磘 save or archive a COPY of your fax! This is huge for a small business. All you get is a 鈥毭劽簊ent鈥毭劽?notification. 3) you can鈥毭劽磘 send the fax to multiple recipients. Or at least I couldn鈥毭劽磘 figure out how.4) I need an email or text confirmation of the sent fax including the date and who it was sent to. Another key feature for a small business.

The fact that document facsimile has graduated from copiers and multifunction device to the computer is a testament to how useful this tool is. Lots of industries still use faxing as a important business need for document communication and management including government offices, insurance companies, and the medical industry specifically doctors offices. The fact that i can fax a document from my smart phone anywhere I have a data connection to an actual fax machine or another e-faxing service continues to humble me about the seamlessness of FaxfromPhone and the technology it supports. Id say even for infrequent use, it's a very value resource. I highly recommend FaxfromPhone and would especially recommend it for home based businesses where faxing is necessary.
