So, CubeStation is really good, the way you can play online is great. But 2 problems are that you can’t see your PB unless it was a solo solve but if it was against another person you can’t. And when you match online, you either match with someone too good or too bad so it’s hard to get someone on your level. The last one is that you can play online with a non smart cube but people abuse the feature and just click really fast and “get” like a millisecond but don’t actually solve so it’s pretty pointless. But other than that, this is a great app.

I just don’t know why there are so many bad reviews on CubeStation, I mean ya you do have do download some stuff when you open it, but you have to do that for literally EVERY app on the earth. And when the servers are down Then grab your other cube and do stuff on that one, it’s not like its the end of the world or something, and if it disconnects then reconnect it, I mean come on, CubeStation is great and I highly recommend it with or without the smart cube.

I don’t have any of the issues talked about in all these reviews. I went from 5 minute solves to sub 30 in 2 months and all the credit is due to CubeStation. I have the Rubik’s connected as well. CubeStation is better! Ugh, after 70 days of awesomeness I haven’t been able to connect for 2 days. Going crazy! Need this fixed NOW! It says “unable to get server version number”

CubeStation has a lot of potential. However the problems are many. It can take 30 minutes to load sometimes longer. Trying to connect online is hit or miss. If you try to play with friends the chat part will crash CubeStation . Also does not register if your friends are on correctly or not. If you create a private room to play with friends in you are only going to get a few rounds before CubeStation crashes or the server kicks you out. There are some good tutorials on how to solve but the rest of it that is the most interesting is buggy at best.

This is a great app but the one problem is that in the tutorial it really only shows where the main stuff is and sometimes I like to know where the little stuff is such as the coupons also if you could make the videos in academy English for people who selected English as their language.

I used to love CubeStation, I had been using it for the past year. However recently when I would go to 1v1 people it would never find anyone for me and I wouldn’t be able to battle which is kinda the main reason I spend $80 on a cube. I deleted CubeStation and re downloaded it. I got past the logo screen once and tried to login but it kept saying network error or something? Anyway I couldn’t get in and I deleted it again and re downloaded it l, again and now I can’t even get passed the logo. Please fix this ASAP this was one of my favorite apps! :(

UPDATE: As of August 25th, 2022 CubeStation officially no longer works without verification with a Chinese (+86) phone number. You cannot even do local training with the hardware you own.

The people who suggest CubeStation works must have already had an existing account because if you bought a new cube and are installing this for the first time? Too bad! You just bought a regular Rubik’s cube because there is absolutely no way to create an account or access your cube. I love Gan cubes but at this point their digital products are essentially a scam. Stay away!

I like CubeStation when it works; keeping track of everything is all I really care about. But the MAJOR problem is that when their server is down or whatever the problem is (which happens often enough), you can’t do anything! If you can’t log on, you can’t scramble or solve. And unfortunately, as of April 24, 2021, it’s down and doesn’t log on!!!

I have looked through a few of the one star reviews and all the bugs of CubeStation not starting ect. Are fixed. Plus CubeStation is jam packed with features. But there is completely no sound in the whole app which is small problem.

Had to write this review after this: Phone was at 19%, I do one solve. Next solve, 10% battery notification pops up and DNFs my solve. No way to turn off those notifications so if your phone is anywhere near low battery (I’ve never seen anything kill a charge as fast as CubeStation), you’re guaranteed 2 DNFs. App works fine tho.

I’ll save you some trouble: DO NOT buy a Gan Robot for cube scrambling unless you have a 365i cube. Gan advertises that it will also work with a regular cube, but (a) you need special center caps to be installed, and (b) even after that, CubeStation refuses to work. CubeStation also looks like it was designed by a third grader. The interface is ludicrously unintuitive; I couldn’t find the scramble function even after looking for 15 minutes. Wherever it is, it’s well hidden. Gan makes good cubes but CubeStation is worthless.

I had CubeStation a year ago with my ganiplay. It was ok, but Disconnected occasionally. I
Re downloaded it this year and was amazed at how HORRIBLE it is. It was lazily thrown together by some Chinese people who clearly must have tried to make it as jank and questionable an interface as possible, as if it were a illegal Chinese pirating website. It doesn’t connect to the cube and the mobile phone login does not work. Do not buy a fan smart cube! It might be worth the money if CubeStation worked, but it simply doesn’t.

I have the current and the older version of CubeStation. The older version great when it comes to getting the cube connected and running. Whereas the current version is incapable of even connecting a cube. I’ve tried resetting my phone, recharging my cube, and even with all Bluetooth capabilities enabled. The cube is still only able to connect to the older version of CubeStation . I would recommend trying one of these cubes as they are great... When they actually work that is...

CubeStation looks fine. I have read through some of the bad reviews and I wanted to say CubeStation “Cube Station” works great. I will say that you need to download 13 mega bytes when you download the game. I hope this review will encourage you to download CubeStation.

Look, people don’t want to wait forever for CubeStation to be fixed. A lot of people might move onto different brands and stuff because they would probably feel like the cube that once HAD a WORKING app now seems like a normal Rubik’s Cube. You really need to fix CubeStation ASAP if you want to keep people interested. People like working apps not apps that do nothing. And some of us have been waiting months for something that is probably an easy fix. Please fix it ASAP. :/

Recently I bought a gan356 R S but when I got CubeStation it did not show that option so I was not able to connect my cube to solve it

Cube station works very good on WiFi while at home. But extremely hit or miss on LTE. Earlier today I was sitting at 3 bars LTE for both of my sims (att and T-Mobile) and cube station won’t generate a scramble for time trials citing network issues. Thankfully I have my non smart main with me and DCTimer to get my cubing done. It even want network connection for the training mode too. Wow 🤦🏽‍♂️

so as you can see from the title, this is important. so I just bought a brand new GAN cube, and inside the package, i saw a card that said to download CubeStation. being curious, i downloaded it, and then i noticed that it asked for my password. if you are trying to email someone, their password is not required, so i do not recommend typing the password unless the developers have a good reason for requiring a password. everyone remember, YOUR PASSWORD IS VITAL INFORMATION

CubeStation is very good. It may only work on internet, but that’s okay. It allows you to customize your color scheme, race against others, and more. Again, don’t try to use it on data.

After over 2 hours of "connections fails" I finally logged in. CubeStation worked great for 15 minutes. Now i keep having to resume it and the orientation is off by 90 degrees. The folks at GAN should be ashamed of themselves for even releasing Singh buggy software. It's almost completely useless. I'm deciding whether or not I can find another app to use for the cube otherwise I'll return for a gocube.

CubeStation is amazing because you get to go against other people around the world. But the worst part about it is that when I wanted to learn new algorithms I went to training and most of the algorithms did not work like I wanted to do the advance method and I did the algorithms for the last step they did not make me better because they did NOT work.

CubeStation has no problems its fun you get the perfect people to match against you can choose your strategy like C-Fop or beginners method so i really like CubeStation i just got a smart cube and it works really well so i do suggest getting CubeStation, for practice and for fun. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

It is an amazing app worked great but I say worked because after the new update I can’t log in it keeps say network timed out after LITERALLY 3 SECONDS so yeah please fix also I did change the network and the device and reset and uninstall and everything please fix

I went on CubeStation today and the kunlun thing appeared then it was just stuck there

Hi, So i just got a smart cube and downloaded CubeStation, for the first usage of CubeStation it was fine but when i closed CubeStation it didn’t work anymore. Any attempt to actually use CubeStation didn’t get me further than the loading screen. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times, i reset my iPhone and changed what wi-fi i used but it just isn’t working. It’s a good app but it did break.

Ummmm so I guess this company is out of business? Every time our son tries to use this it just says server closed.

Getting this thing to connect over Bluetooth is basically impossible.

To be able to track the movement of the cube, precisely record the time it takes, and compete against other people, make CubeStation awesome! I would, however, like to know the total number of players that I am ranked against. Other issues with CubeStation are features not yet available. Other than that I really enjoy CubeStation .

The way I need to put my number to play is impossible for me and I’m a kid

I want to login after the update, but I can no longer get in because it’s only in Chinese once you try to verify. This needs to be fixed or CubeStation is useless and therefore my cube is useless!

It doesn’t even let me log in and I’ve been trying for over an hour CubeStation is terrible it’s a waste of time don’t get CubeStation under any circumstances!!!!!!!

Suddenly it is telling me “network request timeout please try again” for 2 days now. I am unable to login or do anything now. Any help would be great.

I got CubeStation and after some fiddling around and trying to log in I figured it out, CubeStation itself is very well done and has helped me bring my average down from 35-40 second solves to 25-30 second solves. The cube does have occasional connection problems with CubeStation . The online system is also pretty fun but it does take a bit of time to start up a match. Overall, there is room for improvement in CubeStation but it works good enough for me.

You need a $75 smart cube and $7 center caps to work.

I don’t know why everyone else says it’s trash, it’s awesome. Though you do need good internet connection for it.

litrally trained me to learn how to sole a rubiks cube

So far so good! Took me couple tries to register the product. However when I switch to the chinese language, all my registration in English are gone? The tutorial is not very intuitive. Especially the monster go, very little description of what it actually is . Product syncs well and the views of the cube can be enhanced for beginners to better understand of the orientation of the cube and the different turns

Great app and simple to use, a little glitchy sometimes but the main problem is the fact im bad

Took forever to sync the gan cube, eventually had to restart CubeStation to find the cube. Got it synced with CubeStation but the orientation in CubeStation is completely wrong. Tried to do solved sync but could not get CubeStation to recognize the way I’m holding it. Finally figured out I could tap the cube on the home page and drag it to match mine. Ok fine. Then tried to do solo timer and works fine for the first round but then in the second round the scramble has all wrong moves. As an example it will tell me F and the illustration is R, even though the cube is in sync now everything in the scramble is backwards and it changes every round. Terrible app. It’s too bad as the cubes are great. Need to get someone from GoCube over here to fix CubeStation.

Is my Christmas present and so far is the best .It’s so much better than rubix connected because it’s cheaper and the gan I carry has Magnets and rubix conncet doe not

The us for CubeStation is literally made out of walking crap, also I can’t even sign in.

CubeStation is rated safe for kids but contains an unsecured chat feature that is inappropriate for elementary age children.

This is stupid I don’t know how to get into sign up it’s just login. Whoever made CubeStation needs to fix it and put log in one star.

CubeStation works very well for me it sometimes glitches and you need to have a good internet connection to use it but I have used its algorithm trainer and it’s solo time and it brought my average down from 22 seconds to 15-14 seconds. It also is good for cubing with friends who are a long ways away. I do recommend CubeStation. BEFORE YOU PERMANENTLY SIGN UP MAKE SURE TO SELECT THE ENGLISH OPTION ON THE PAGE OTHERWISE IT WILL BE IN CHINESE. Overall I definitely recommend CubeStation to all cyberspace beginner and new

This is a great game i did have some problems with logging in but after awhile I got the hang of it the rest is great

CubeStation does what its supposed to but I have a few requests.
1. Make it so that you can move the cube while scrambling.
2. Make it so that you can disable the gyroscope skin.

I really like gan cube but after the new update CubeStation said searching for something and it’s just a blue background and I waited about 2hours and still nothing happened

I really don’t see why everyone hates CubeStation so much. It’s really good and useful for timing yourself on the cube. CubeStation is really responsive and the turning on the cube itself is fantastic. Sometimes (but very rarely), the cube will de-sync, but all you have to do to re-sync it again is solve it, or if you don’t know how, just scan it with your camera! The timer is super customizable, and you can change stuff like the method you’re using to solve it, how it’s scrambled, and so much more! It also gives you full lessons on how to solve it if you’re new to cubing, and you can even hook it up to the GAN robot if you have one. Anyway, the only complaint I have about CubeStation is the sign in. About every month, the next time I log in it will say my session has expired and make me re-login which is super annoying. I’ve also tried to link my phone number but it won’t let me enter an American one. But overall, if you’re looking to buy a GAN cube, spend the extra money on the electronic one. Because CubeStation is worth it!

Every time I use a correct email and correct password it loads saying sending then it says I have bad network even though it’s full!!!!!

CubeStation won’t let me register an account and it gets me mad

I will admit that the initial set up and registration for CubeStation is a little clunky, but after that it is amazing. Once you get used to it, it works great!

Half of CubeStation is locked until you “Verify”. What does that even mean? No one knows. I’ve already registered so what is verify? You can click verify 1000x and nothing will happen. CubeStation is unusable and trash
