I have nothing issues connecting to the cameras using StarEye. This is ridiculous that I have been experiencing this is for over 6 months. Keeps saying device is offline but when my dog walks around the camera it captures him. So how could it be offline? I spent too much money for both cameras for it not to work appropriately. I wished I saw these reviews BEFORE BUYING THIS JUNK!!

If you don’t read Chinese you can’t use StarEye. It sends multiple notifications per hour and they are all on Chinese. Can’t use it to set up my cameras. Absolutely worthless. I hope they fix this problem quickly.

Spent 30 min trying to connect. Gave up. Will be returning for refund.

Well for starters the power indicator in StarEye is incorrect. When I had the product plugged in to the house power it showed 5% charged then placed it outside in the sun to charge it by useing the soloar panel still only 5%. After the sun went down and about 10:00 pm the power indicated went up to 50% and then back down to 5% around 6:00am. The cruise feature is only available when it wants to be and no option to adjust. Other then those things works great Just released an update and the cruse feature is now available and it works. I wish I could set specific spots for the camera to cruise to and have it stop at said point for 5 or maybe 10 seconds and then it would move to the next set point. The power indicator now shows that the battery is charged 25% and charging regardless of the fact of it being middle of the night or the middle of a bright sunny day. Last thing at this point is camera missing recordable events. Example of things that it does not record are things such as I walk right past the camera but it will record a person walking down the street on the opposite side of the road. It also missing all event that happen after sunset. Push notifications is working again.

Update they updated this crap again and now I have to get out my ladder to reset the camera again just to see if I can get this crap working again. Customer service does not answer emails and there is no phone number to call.

Personally don’t buy it it’ll work for acouple days amazingly then it’ll say I have no camera connected all it’ll say when I try to reset the camera and connect again is “current Network anomalies” I have to wait a day or two to reset and create a whole new email just to get it back up
And running ! Can’t keep making emails to create new accounts bc it won’t let me connect to my current one because of the “current network anomalies”

This is useless. Only works part of the time, and only with my phones WiFi even though it’s connected to house WiFi. Pointless I am very frustrated over this especially since I I had to wait over a week to even receive the item. I know now I will definitely do my research. Do not suggest buying this. The only reason I’m selecting one star is because it’s making me select something in order to post.

I don’t have any problem connecting the camera to the WiFi but once it’s connected, after a s few minutes I’m unable to see the the video because it says it’s offline, but the word thing is that I keep receiving notifications when it senses movement in front of it, and the worst thing those notifications are in Chinese so is impossible to understand them, which is very annoying.

Can y’all fix that? I use motion detection primarily and now there’s a bug where it leads me to cloud page

This is a terrible app and every time they make changes it gets worse. They don’t give you the option to update to the latest version they just do it automatically. My recommendation to you is, save yourself the frustration and don’t buy any camera that uses the ‘this app’ app. You’ll be happy you didn’t.

Can never connect to it! Got stuck in B&W, can’t activate cloud service, got billed for cloud despite it not activating, no customer support, couldn’t upgrade to new version had to go to App Store to upgrade and still haven’t been able to access my camera for over a week. I want a full refund and an upgraded model and software!

I can get StarEye running and I can use the camera for about maybe 24 hours and then all of a sudden it kicks me out of StarEye and I can’t login I can’t do nothing and it tells me that my account doesn’t exist and I’ve deleted StarEye I’ve re-downloaded ittry to redo it account but I get nowhere

Entered my email to register, you select continue and are give secure password with option of creating your own if you select it, once entered, page stays up and nothing happens after you hit return. Never got email and password entry page never changed.

Had nothing but problems, camera drops off my network(it’s 20 feet from my router). 3 out of 5 times it says “camera off line “ when trying to view remotely and there is ZERO support from these monkeys. DONT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!! . Very disappointed is a understatement. I would have rated a 0 but not possible so….

If you respect yourself, your family, and your property, you will get decent security camera bc this one ain’t it. It hardly connects to StarEye , it moves “guard” position (turns to look into the middle of nowhere from where I originally set it), offers no real Cloud package so you don’t have an option to truly playback video, AND to top it all off, the customer support is virtually NONEXISTENT. No one to call, email, write, nada..
You’re probably wondering if it’s anecdotal, well read around, Everyone is saying this same thing. Don’t be fooled like us, or do, after all it’s your money.

I’m 12 and I use this camera to make sure chickens don’t peck my garden It also has intelligent detection and high-quality. You could also record it and screenshot any part of it with clicks of a button anyway it’s an amazing camera and probably better and cheaper than most cameras today 10 out of 10 highly recommend ❤️
