Took away the external account payment feature

A year ago I would’ve rated Community1stCU a 5. But now for probably about 4+ months, the loan payment feature to pay from an external account has been unavailable. In order to go around this issue, I have to transfer money from my external account into the savings account I hold at the bank (which I don’t use for anything) then transfer the money from my savings account to my loan. I understand that apps have issues some times and fixes need made, but considering this issue has been happening for months, it’s clear they aren’t really working to fix it. I contacted customer service about it on two separate occasions and all they’ve been able to offer is the work around of using my savings account instead. It definitely adds a level of inconvenience that makes me displeased with Community1stCU .

Why did y’all not think this through.

I doubt it is just me experiencing issues. 1st I have to download a new app rather than a simple update. Ok that’s weird but not a big deal, at least it would not have been if I was not locked out of my account. I put in the CORRECT password and was prompted to use an authorization. I opted for my phone number. Immediately I use auto fill from text messages to fill it in. I was instantly locked out of my account. What the actual hell, so now I must goto the bank tomorrow morning since it is already closed for the day. C1st please fix this bug. The inconvenience is not my issue, it is more along the lines of a company making an app then releasing it without proper beta testing. It was right off the login. Thank you for coming to my TedTalk

They are crap

I was with them for 30 years. They loaned me money for my first apartment. I had $3,000 in my account and they refused my transaction to pay my electric bill. They refused 20 before that. I talked to the branch manager and he did nothing. They closed my account with out my permission. I am not getting a check for 3 months because of there crap. I am disabled and they did nothing to accommodate me. They will never touch a cent of my money again. I also lost my health insurance because of them. I am still thinking about pressing charges. Go ahead give them your money. Rob Ekwall

Handy with simple interface

Sometimes I dread using the mobile version of an app, but this C1st app is reliable and lets me do almost everything the website does. Fairly intuitive interface and very handy.

Does not accurately update after purchases!

I’d give this a zero star rating if I could. Here it is, November 15 and when I went in to check my account balance, it’s showing balances from the month of October. Yesterday was correct but today it’s showing something completely different. I prefer the old one over this ridiculous “new” one. I would also say “go online and check” but it’s saying the same thing over there. Guess what Community First, you need to figure this out!

Community1stCU is very user friendly and do the majority of my banking on it. Even if you are not tech savvy you can use Community1stCU. Use Community1stCU for the convenience of staying on top of your accounts.

Community1stCU is easy to navigate for the beginner but has more functionality for a skilled tech savy person, at the same time accommodating everyone’s needs. Easy to transfer money between your own accounts and to your friends who also bank at Community First!

The C1st app is super easy to use and offers far more options for online banking than any other credit union app I have used. It looks nice and professional.

Login

Sometimes every few days I have. Redo my password to login when I have it set to remember. I understand if it does this every couple weeks for security or whatever but sometimes it’s in the same day, several days in a row etc. happens a lot with Community1stCU

Good when it works

Have lots of problems with Community1stCU . Not being able to log in, transfers not showing up sometimes. Annoyingly have to call customer support when Community1stCU decides to lock me out.

I like the new app. There is a navigation issue with the back button, however it is far less clunky than the previous app.

Needs work

It often doesn’t even open. Or it’ll erase username/password even are clicking to “remember me”. Doesn’t update well. Have had these problems since before they updated.

Super inconvenient

So I went to the login type in my infor. Then it said should they call me, text me and some other option. I chose text, it popped up on the screen then went on the top of my keyboard. So I clicked the top of my keyboard which put it in to verify. Then it started to say not valid and I’m freaking out currently.

I hate this new app

I hate this new app!!!!! I don’t like it’s set up or function. To me it’s not as user friendly as the old app!!!! I want the old style back!!!!!!
