Bartleby: Math Homework Helper Reviews

A free trial of this app learn came with one of my textbooks, so I included it when I checked out of my university bookstore. After checking out I decided that I didn’t want the service, so I didn’t complete registration when prompted. You can’t access the service without registering, so I reasoned that my trial would not begin until completing registration. A month later I was surprised to see that I was charged 9.99, but I should have expected this. If you give a company your payment information, they’ll charge you no matter what. And guess what? Under no circumstance are refunds given. It’s clear that this app does not care about the quality of their service, nor do they care about customer satisfaction. One thing is clear: they do care about your money.
Edit: after stating my case and a little back and forth, I eventually received a refund.

Bartleby is helpful. But there are some times when I send a question in, I get back an answer that is written out by hand and I can’t read it at all and then I have to resubmit the question again. Some of these “experts” have the sloppiest handwriting. I would never turn something in to my professor with handwriting the way these experts write. There are times when I have to sit there for several minutes trying to figure out what they wrote. There are also a lot of bugs and glitches on their website, and I always have trouble logging in. I had trouble pausing my subscription in between semesters due to system glitches, so I emailed them about it, and they never responded.

Bartleby would show a blank white screen. I assumed it was just taking a while to load, but my question was already uploaded on the website. It's a good app in terms of being able to take pictures and uploading it for asking questions with that, but right after submitting the question it would show a white screen for a long time. And would continue to do so even after restarting Bartleby and restarting my phone. The only way to ask questions would be to delete and download Bartleby again.. So that's really frustrating. But this app itself is a great source for help. It's just Bartleby .

Don’t ask for answers during a test, it takes a long minute before you get your answers. Other than that, Bartleby is great. Answer from experts really help you understand better than the teachers do, honestly. I’ve gotten so much help from Bartleby in just the first two days that I’ve been using it. Definitely recommend, but one peice of advice. If your in a time crisis, and need something answered quick. You’ve got the wrong app.

They use to give you 10 free questions now it’s just 5 like what and they even have the audacity to lower the number even when everyone is struggling financially. Let’s not talk about how long they take to answer a simple question. Almost a day. I needed help in my test which was timed but I got an answer the next day. Yeah it’s not worth it! Just use quanda instead

I was skeptical using this all but when I took a picture of my work and sent it it took a while to get a responds so I was a lil disappointed and lost hope but then I received a detailed response to the question that gave me more than I expected!! So i wouldn’t recommend it for things that you have a short amount of time on

Asking questions and getting a breakdown on how to answer it really helps as an example for other questions I was trying to solve but couldn’t figure out the steps on where I was getting something wrong.

I needed to reference a college-level engineering book and the solutions were better than the solutions manual that comes with the book. Solutions were more complete easier and easier to read - way worth it!

Bartleby is good but only if you can wait. They give you answers quick but there’s always an error when I ask another question, and then it puts me on a white screen. Then I won’t be able to access Bartleby unless I delete them download it back.

I just got Bartleby Desperately needing help I was a little skeptical because of how low the rates was but this is a good app . They respond very quick . And leave a explanation. I haven’t had any problems yet but so far a Good app :)

The answers are clear fast and really helpful. I am learning a lot from this site . I already recommended 3 friends that join already thank you so much

At first it was always 10 questions but all of a sudden it’s 5 questions and let’s not talk about how long y’all take to answer a question. I will need help with my homework and y'all would reply the next game or in hours. I subscribed where you could ask 30 questions and it won’t even let me ask a question they took my money and I want it back.

Does take a bit to get a response I’d mostly use for homework but can we like get a thank you button because the answer is always right and they show you the work you need and give a great explanation of things!

Bartleby is good, but error occurs many times
When I opened it, the screen turned white.

When l log in, it turned white too.

This is so aweful. Every single time I ask questions, random chemistry questions that totally 100% multiple choice questions THEY ALWAYS GET REJECTED!!! This is incredibly annoying and not worth paying $10 a month for absolutely nothing but getting rejected answers! Its totally annoying. I will not be a returning customer, going to chegg sorry.

I mean its great and it gives you the answers correctly but it takes super long to get the answers I’ve waited almost three hours to get their reply:( but it still a good app

Normally I like Bartleby but once I submit a question I need help on. I get a white screen and it doesn’t go away. It’s super frustrating because you can’t access the rest of Bartleby .

After I forgot to pay the monthly fee and it declined, I payed the subscription, and Bartleby still did not continue to grant me access to answer. Even though I payed, the error bar still pops up saying I did not. Not allowing me to see answers.

I signed up for an account and not only did I get charged $9.99 instead of the $4.99 for the first month deal, but I am still not able to access me account. I have signed out of Bartleby and signed back in and I still can’t see the answers.

This homework helper app is amazing! You get 10 free questions and it will expire in 30 days within creating your account. The answering speed is okay, but 4 questions I asked was fast. Today, it was slow. I had to wait so long, it said it should arrive within 3 hours, but I couldn’t wait that losing which explains some bad reviews. The answers are indeed correct and the work is shown so I got no problem with that. Well, that’s the end of my review! Will probably buy subscription in the future, but I’m broke right now XD (If some of you saw my old review, it somehow got deleted, I didn’t do anything, but here’s a new one!)

I do not recommend. I had a test to do in math I only had 30 min, it literally took more than 30 min to get the answer back to me. So use it if you want to, I do not recommend.

Bartleby was working fine but now it glitches out and the screen turns white please make it have no bugs or glitches .

I do not recommend Bartleby at all even after I payed for the subscription I couldn’t get any answers and it’s way too slow
