I was looking for a better calculator that actually shows the steps of a problem without having to spend money. I used FastMath literally for 5 minutes (I’m not kidding) to put in one problem. Guess what happens, they didn’t even show me the answer. It was blurred. That’s right, the answer was blurred. Not the steps, the ANSWER. Maybe because it was a trigonometry equation (studying for final exam) so I put in a different equation, a simple algebra equation. NOT EVEN A SIMPLE EQUATION WITH ONE VARIABLE HAD AN ANSWER. WHAT THE HECKING HECK. The point of a calculator is to give you the answer, even a calculator from dollar tree can give me an answer. But this FREE app won’t even give you the ANSWER. I don’t mind not having the equation worked out for me, but cmon give me the answer. FastMath is basically a calculator that has no point. What kind of calculator doesn’t give you the answer? I still use photomath because it still shows me the process without having to spend money. Although to understand the process as to WHY, that’s when it costs money. But don’t waste your time on FastMath. It’s pointless.

I don’t recommend FastMath unless you’re willing to pay $10. You can’t even see the problems answer without paying. The only thing you can do is scan and I’m not wasting $10 on an app when there are better ones. I’m just saying that I find it ridiculous that you have to pay for help when you should at least give us a limited amount of questions to scan before paying. I don’t recommend FastMath at all. I recommend getting Mathway.

It can recognize a problem through a picture which effectively it’s the same as taking a picture of the problem then sitting there staring at it. Tells me I have to pay if I want to see how to get the answer or what the answer is. Maybe there’s something wrong with FastMath for me, but this is the most worthless app I’ve ever downloaded

I got FastMath because I had a frustrating problem and needing help. All the reviews said awful things, and I thought they were over exaggerating. THEY WERE NOT! the first thing that happened after I downloaded FastMath was it asked me for money. 20 something dollars a month. That’s insane. I ignored it and clicked the x. After I clicked my picture, guess what happened, they asked again for money!! Good people and apps who want to help should be for free. I truly recommend to anyone who’s reading this, find any other app to help, or ask a non crazy adult or friend. I couldn’t even get into it, but if you are willing to pay that, I hope it’s better then the outside of it. I don’t know if there are ads, but that would make it over the top awful. I was looking for an app that could help me with problems with words but it won’t because it seems to only want problems with only number. Also, when I want to type it in, there is no space bar. No fricking space bar for me to type in the problem. Maybe if you get that fixed, I might give a higher review. Until then, I’m never using FastMath again.

I thought it was free but it might have been my mistake for noticing the in app purchasing disclaimer. But that’s beside the point, I had FastMath for like five minutes before I deleted. Not only did it not show my the answer to the equation it asked me to pay to be able to view the steps like come on. My one star rating is base on the previous statement I wasn’t on FastMath long enough to know how great FastMath is

I had just opened FastMath to solve a confusing problem and once I had taken a picture and pressed the “solve” button it immediately took me to a screen that told me I have to PAY for a subscription to be able to solve a math problem, this is so stupid just use the calculator app the comes with your phone. They should at least make FastMath cost money if they are going to make me pay $10 a moth just to solve math problems.

FastMath seems more like a money grab than anything else, you require a subscription before they show you any solutions (there’s a 3 day free trial at least). the camera function 9/10 doesn’t work and that 1 time it does it won’t actually solve your problem. You can also manually type in your problems but FastMath really can’t solve anything higher than middle school algebra. You’re better off looking for another app or solving it yourselves

Don’t bother using any of your data to download FastMath. It’s a good concept...that’s about it. Just like anything that has even a slight relation with math or “education” they always find a way to “help” you help themselves. You don’t even get to see if the FastMath actually works, nope it’s just “give me money” immediately! Freaking stupid man, that really snowed my balls. Oh, it wasn’t a cheap one time payment either so forget about that idea, nah, it was expensive and reoccurring on a monthly basis! Tell the devil I said he can keep his app.

I downloaded FastMath to help me with my homework and to actually see the solution to the problem they make you pay. Like they never said any of this in the description. It’s a waste. I downloaded this not to get charged for money but it makes you get a monthly subscription. This is not good.
I’m very disappointed and upset 😒

I’m using FastMath to get a little bit of help with my math you know you take a picture and you don’t see your answer you just see what the problem is and if you want your answer you’re gonna pay your subscription like all apps do this why can’t I just get an answer do I really have to pay money that’s not fair to me I’m deleting it there’s no use it doesn’t give me an answer might as well go back to my small calculator I don’t know if the calculator work but it’s better than nothing.

I saw FastMath about a week ago and decided to give it a try. I took a picture of the current math problem that I was working on and was surprised when it didn’t give me the answer or more importantly, how to solve the equation. Instead it told me to pay money. I decided to type in the equation but the same thing happened. Truly disappointing that FastMath wouldn’t help me with any equation. I understand an app costing money for perks but instead, you get no use out of FastMath without spending money.

It’s so bad if I could give it zero stars I would it does not give you the answers so basically I was studying for a test is coming up so I wanted to remember the answers in my head so I use FastMath on problems expecting it to give me the answer but then it doesn’t it’s just blurs the answer they only want money don’t waste your time on here unless you want your money to be wasted I recommend you to get a new app or something but not this one horrible i was just trying to study ugh

This is the worst app ever to help you with your math I did not get FastMath to cheat I just wanted to check my answers so I scanned the problem and my answer was in the corner and the only thing it did was copy my answer because after I looked at the math problem I figured out that that answer was wrong so I just put a random answer first to see if it would say it was that and it did the same thing and if you don’t put an answer it just says that you didn’t scan it right don’t get FastMath it’s a waste of time and all they want is money

I really needed step by step answers to help with an assignment so I chose FastMath because it was the only one that gave the option to do a free trial for step by step answers. I took several pictures of the problem, each time it took close to a minute to load then every time it gave me an error message. I tried it with my WiFi on and off and exited and reopened FastMath and got the same result every time. I even tried typing the equation in but FastMath doesn’t give you many options so I couldn’t type in the exact equation which obviously isn’t any help.

So I’m trying to get finished with my two weeks up with homework and I am in a special class to help me do math because I’m really bad at it and I was absent so I have to do this by myself so I wanted to download an app so I found an app and I downloaded this one and then every picture I took it said that there was no math problem found and so I took pictures of a different one and then it still said no math problem found and then I wrote a different piece of paper for +2 very clearly and then I took a picture of that and it said no problem found I guess it’s just dumb

So this is a terrible math solving app. To make Make it so you can be able to actually access what’s the answer in the solution is you have to pay for a trial. Had it it for a week I was hoping to get an app that I could use for online school and when I got FastMath I didn’t look at the ratings but I really wish I looked at the ratings I got FastMath and it seemed pretty simple you just snap a picture and give you the answer when I snap a picture and then it says sorry we can’t solve this math problem but will tell you later I did this multiple times and it still didn’t work and I tried it with multiple other problems and it didn’t help me whatsoever and FastMath would repeatedly just take me out of it and not let me back and I would click on it multiple times but it still didn’t let me in and I clicked on my other apps on my phone and they all let me in so it’s definitely something wrong with the stupid app

The reviews say that FastMath is great but I haven’t seen one that says about how FastMath and many others make you have to pay a MONTHLY trial. Probably is a great app but I haven’t even solved a math problem just because you have to pay even before you test it .

Thank you I didn’t understand what the heck I was doing but now I just get out my phone and take a picture of it with this and It will show me how to do the problem! And now it has free membership for a month so it’s even better :D didn’t even have to subscribe

When you Want the answer you have to take a picture of your answer that you already wrote and it will say the same thing you wrote down. It is a rip off and not very good so don’t download it, it is not helpful. It won’t help you very much in math, I already tried.

I think that you should be able to at least have a free trial. But instead they don’t let you have one. If you take the picture it doesn’t work it just wants you to pay money🙄 so if I was you I wouldn’t get FastMath,Unless you want to pay every month

I think you should just show the solution. Well, that’s my opinion. This isn’t a terrible app to use but on the other hand you have to pay to get the solution. I should hit the solution button and then BOOM there’s the solution.

So, i pay the 6 months because i think it was going to help me with my math problems, but it solve them completely different, they don’t give me the solution i ask, i really want a refund cause i pay it today and this is not going to work for me.

I could understand you get the answer for free but for the steps you need to get the payed option so they can continue to “develop FastMath ” but no no you get a 3 day trial than have to pay ridiculous amounts of money just to solve a math problem.

It’s such a bad app because it doesn’t give you the solution unless you actually pay for FastMath . It makes me go through the trouble of taking a picture and just displaying the problem I took a picture of but not one step or help is given. I know what the problem looks like, I don’t need a picture of the problem.

This is a RIP-OFF you have to pay for it monthly or all in one month which is really annoying and they don’t let you try it before you pay and stuff. When you go to take a picture it says solution and you click it and it shows up as the monthly pay thingy I DO NOT recommend FastMath it is ripping you off I would give this a 0 rating if I could

This is the worst 9 Dollars I ever spent FastMath doesn’t work every problem I tried was wrong even the simple problems would not work every single picture I took it couldn’t do what’s the point scam all the way

FastMath is awful. I am a parent of a student in 7th grade, and I feel the creators of FastMath should not have you PAY to even get the answers. FastMath should obviously be worked on more, and take out the payments.
