NomadeSIM is so slick for getting service abroad (you can buy it from anywhere, for anywhere!) SO easy to buy data for a new country, install the eSIM at the push of a button, and activate your service the day you fly. NomadeSIM is modern and transparent, it was super smooth to buy service with. I had cheap data for all of Europe within minutes. So dang cool. It will change how cell plans work.

I recently went on a trip to France, and Nomad was a lifesaver! I was easily able to buy an eSIM data plan before leaving for my departing flight. Once I landed, it was easily activated and worked perfectly. Paid about a third of the price my friend paid for to get a physical SIM in France. Speeds were super fast, even when I was hundreds of meters offshore. Would recommend NomadeSIM to anyone looking to travel!!

NomadeSIM is a lifesaver! I can’t believe I used to pay so much for data when traveling internationally and had to go through all the trouble of exchange tiny SIM cards. For my recent trip to Mexico, I discovered NomadeSIM through esimdb which ranks this provider No.1. Paid $18 for 3Gb - so cheap!!! Will be using NomadeSIM for all my international travels in the future.

I traveled from Singapore to the US for a three weeks long vacation and this eSIM card works perfectly. Great access of network and no issues of activation or network quality at all. Plus it is really value for money. For two cell phones I only paid $35 in total. Highly recommended

I have free international data with my US phone carrier but it’s SOOOOOO slow. Nomad solved that for me. 10 days in Australia and I paid $11 for normal speeds. It was totally worth it. Great customer service too, as I purchased an additional plan accidentally and they refunded me with no questions. Would definitely use again.

I have been using Nomad along with my Freedom mobile call / text plan. Nomad’s plans are by far the most affordable and are high speed - I get great service in Ontario with their plans. So far, I’ve been able to bring my mobile bill down to $17/month by using Nomad + Freedom. Love NomadeSIM!

I used NomadeSIM when I traveled Indonesia. The price is reasonable. And I can search any plan I needed. Besides, the device signal is strong. I can connect the internet in some remote area, such as Komodo. Download it if you have plan for traveling abroad!

Compared to going through waiting for my SIM cards and a lot of processes, I got my data plan through nomad within a few min. Easy to use. Great plan as well!

Good for secondary phones for data usages. I tend to watch Netflix, play cod mobile and browse social media. Seem to stand up to my expectations so far!

I found Nomad easy to navigate and have good coverage on countries for data plans.

But it never happened. I attempted to use the service in multiple different countries over a years period of time. I’ve purchased at least five Sims from them, and every one had issues. Tech-support was quick to answer and ask the same questions, and usually not very helpful. Last time I was told to ‘get closer to a tower’.
When traveling I activate the SIM before landing in the country I was arriving in, and it would work for a day or two, then I would spend many days without service, no maps, no translator and no way to locate hotels. No tech support unless you can find a Starbucks or have time to sit around a place that has free wifi and wait for a response. Typical time to resolve issues, three days.
Yeah the price is great, but the last semi purchased 10 gigs/15 days and was only able to use .8 gigs in that time before the Sim expired because the service would not connect. The company did nothing except offer me their apologies. Which I’m thankful for. Would have liked a refund. Looking for a different company.

I went on a trip to Japan and was looking for data SIMs and found Nomad. The reviews looked great so I tried it. It was amazing!! First the setup is easy as long as your phone supports eSIMs. The service was great and it was cheaper than finding a data SIM or mobile hotspot. I had 4G speed for the whole trip. I would highly recommend using Nomad as it is affordable and easy to setup. You also have many choices for the amount of data or carrier you want to choose. I will definitely use their service again on my next international trip.

terrible service while I was away in France, was promised 4G as soon on NomadeSIM but was constantly in 3G everywhere I went in France, which is basically not usable. not sure if the service differs with each country. and then when I got back to the states and removed the e-sim, my regular sim for my service here seemed to be messed up. my contacts names all got unsaved, and people texting me saying that their messages are not going through but I do receive them on my end, receiving texts later than when they were delivered. I won’t ever be using NomadeSIM again, my partner had a different e-sim app and it worked beautifully in France

Major security issue! Venturing from Canada to the United States, I eagerly purchased an eSIM from Nomad, advertised as a service provided by the T-Mobile US network, expecting seamless connectivity and service. However, what unfolded was a series of unexpected challenges and security concerns that left me questioning the provider's reliability.

Despite being in New York, I quickly discovered that my IP address was routed to Hong Kong, China. This created a cascade of issues, including the inability to access essential websites, parking, and banking apps. Even my VPN attempts were blocked, leaving me frustrated and concerned for my privacy.

Upon reaching out to the Nomad customer service team, I found them to be responsive, yet unfortunately, unable to resolve the issue or provide an alternative solution. A refund was not offered, adding insult to injury.

In light of this experience, I would strongly advise those who value their privacy and security to explore other eSIM options other than Nomad.

I got an eSim card for Mexico , the default apn settings that get set are WRONG that meant i connected with a local cellular provider but no data , also what they dont tell you is they work with a British and Swedish cell phone provider which makes internet lag a lot as all the internet traffic is rerouted through one of these 2 countries that means forget about video calls or whatsapp calls , also there is a long delay browsing through the internet or using google maps unless you are in Europe.

I used NomadeSIM when I traveled to Europe. NomadeSIM was easy to use and explained the installation process well. The prices are excellent compared to other SIM card options and the whole Europe package makes travel much easier. Overall a great experience!

Nomad has some great prices, uses local carriers and is super easy to install, plus NomadeSIM actually works unlike some other carrier’s apps.

I tried an eSIM from another company (here on the AppStore) before and my iOS banking app didn’t open, complaining that I’m on a VPN (the bank blocking the connection for security reasons I believe). I switched to Nomad and it worked immediately.

Unfortunately I don’t have much good to say about NomadeSIM or esim service. The data coverage either for about three days before it just stopped. I spent the next three days getting the runaround from customer service, trying unsuccessfully to troubleshoot the problem. Finally enough was enough and after not having usable data while traveling for several days, I insisted on a refund. Thankfully they obliged.

NomadeSIM made it easy to buy and install the e-sim, took a few tries to activate it.

When it finally did work, the speeds were unbearably slow to the point of being unusable. The plan was marketed as 4G but never saw my phone (iphone 11 pro) connect to a network higher than 3G. I was in London during the entirety of my use.

Traveling, installed while on airplane, worked when I landed. Nice. The data seems to be burning faster than I thought but I have no way to proof it’s not accurate.

Data worked, there was an issue, they came through and fixed it.

I’ll absolutely use them again. There are a lot of eSim providers out there, but not all have the same level of customer service. A true test of a company is how they handle things when they go wrong. Also, if you don’t get the result you want, keep pushing; they have good people working there.

After realizing that the Nomad 39 country Euro sim I purchased somehow did not include Switzerland, I purchased the Swiss card for the rest of my trip. I installed and activated it but could not get any internet connection at all. I created a ticket, an agent tried to help but none of her suggestions worked. Eventually she stopped responding. Having wasted enough time, I purchased an Airalo card which worked immediately. I created a second ticket asking for a refund, the agent insisted on continuing to troubleshoot which I had no interest in, and did not offer any refund. The second agent also ghosted me. That seems to be their SOP, no regard for the customer at all.

Summary, use Airalo, not Nomad.

Definitely a must have for travellers - frees me up to worry about other things besides mobile data (which, honestly, is the last thing you want to think about on vacation) ‌‍‌

NomadeSIM and their esim are a complete disaster, travelling around Europe, it eventually worked less than 25% of the time, the rest I payed roaming with my local company, I didn’t have any option, their customer service is just a Q&A and they definitely have nothing they can do as their product is so poor and completely incompetent. it's literally a waste of your money. It worked in London it didn’t in Cambridge. It worked in Paris, it didn’t in Amsterdam, Berlin and the rest. It was so disappointed

The team at Nomad provides excellent customer service. There are times when these type of apps need adjustments or I make mistakes with Settings and they always are willing to help and they're very quick to respond. This is not been my experience with other data apps I highly recommend Nomad.

You download NomadeSIM and start using your phone with the number that was given to you. It is that easy. Compared to another app I bought, NOMAD is much friendlier. Used in Australia and New Zealand. For the most part it works fairly well. NomadeSIM is quite good compared to others and using Apple Pay is nice. The downside is that you will get a Hong Kong IP address, which can be a bit sluggish and cause issues with apps and websites that block Hong Kong. For Example, Citi Bank and TikTok will refuse to work. Even on local WiFi, TikTok will not work unless you turn the eSIM off in your phone settings.

Upon arriving in Barcelona, Spain I started my Nomad connection. No hiccups, just plain access to my text, WhatsApp… etc.
One little problem created by a conflict between my expired purchase and the new SIM, I contacted the help support and… the team could not be more professional, dedicated, knowledgeable.
The communication was excellent and prompt.
I recommend NOMAD with the certainty that it will make your life easier.

I was hesitant to try Nomad on a three week trip given some negative reviews but it worked seamlessly for using different cell providers in 6 countries or regions : Hong Kong, Macau, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, and Taiwan. At every stop the service worked without a hitch, never needed to reboot or wonder what went wrong.

I used Nomad to purchase data plans for a trip to China and Hong Kong with mixed experiences. I installed the China esim before my trip and activation was seamless on arrival. My experience with the HK esim was not as positive. Checkout in NomadeSIM repeatedly returned a generic error message. I was only able to complete the transaction by removing the promo code—frustrating because the deal was being promoted in the Nomad app. Once I completed the purchase and activated the esim, I was unable to get connectivity. The troubleshooting steps in NomadeSIM were not helpful. I contacted support for both issues and they were responsive but unfortunately due to time zones differences I lost a full day’s use of the plan I paid for because Nomad’s default network configuration was incorrect. The idea of seamless access to international data plans is great, but be prepared to be anchored to wifi to troubleshoot on arrival abroad.

I was traveling in Europe and got an eSIM from Nomad. It worked great until I used up my bucket of data. When I was hit my original usage limit and rolled over to the new bucket, it said it was used immediately. I contacted their support department and was told they were looking into it. Every day for a week, they sent me a message that said they were still looking into it, then they stopped updating me. I returned home, so I don’t need it anymore, but I never got any kind of resolution.

Great customer service, I had an issue with an eSim purchased for Brazil and they were quick to resolve the issue and issue a refund. I’ve used them traveling abroad in Switzerland, Italy, and England and had a great experience. Only advice is to pay attention to what countries are offered on the eSim (Switzerland likes to be special and require their own) but Nomad is very up front in which Sims work where

It works ok but I don’t receive phone calls for my us phone number or text messages. Add on feature failed and I was left without data. Data randomly stopped working one time and I had to rely on my primary carrier for data to navigate a foreign cut in the pouring rain at night. Use with caution and have back up plans. Not recommended if you use us phone number as you won’t be able to call or text with foreign data enabled.

This e-sim application saved me in India when the local sim was turned off due to a silly, complicated Visa misunderstanding. Although it’s more expensive than getting a local SIM card, it’s hassle free and easy if you take your time and follow the setup instructions. All we need nowadays is data, and NOMAD connected me to the network with speed and reliability. Took less than 15 minutes. Thanks!

Website works great on mobile son it’s fine, but I really wish I could stay logged into NomadeSIM on two devices at once. Also, lately I get an error when I try to add on data, so I have to go to the website.

But customer service is TOP NOTCH and worth dealing with some bugs.

We used Nomad eSIM’s a few times and overall we would recommend their products.
Used it in China on an iPad Mini and it worked like a charme. Installation was easy, great connection and good data speeds.
Recently we used a Nomad provided eSIM in Argentina and it has been rather disappointing. They use Movistar and Personal for cellular service and their connections as well as the speeds have been rather disappointing.
Our regular US cell service with T-Mobile connected to Claro - no compari! So much better availability, much faster and reliable connections.
The China experience was a 5 star, Argentina a 3 star at best. We will still use Nomad in future but they should definitely look for other/better carriers in Argentina.

Lots of issues changing countries, not ideal for nomads.

Support is fine until there’s a problem they can’t solve.

In my case they just disappeared for DAYS and you only get an apology email days later for the long delay.

It saves time, and is safer, to use a traditional eSIM. I almost did, but my ride app was working fine with airport WiFi.

But imagine being in a taxi in a foreign country where you don’t know the language and can’t see where the driver is taking you.

I’d contacted support one or two days before my flight to avoid issues like this, explaining that I’ll be in a new country and asking how to ensure the installation goes smoothly.

I also reached out from both the departure airport and the arrival airport. Still, I was left with no connection because NomadeSIM wasn’t working properly.

I could send and receive support messages on NomadeSIM but nothing else worked, it kept freezing up.

I tried 4 different apps, including the ride app, and all worked perfectly, except Nomad.

If this issue is resolved it would be a great service. Hopefully tech can figure it out.

All I can say is that I’ve had nothing but good experiences with NomadeSIM. My wife and I have used both the Asian and European eSIM offered by Nomad and it has worked brilliantly, and is quite affordable relative to most other options. Furthermore, the user interface is easier than some and their instructions for use are clear and easy to follow. Best of all, their customer support has been almost immediate, to the point and effective. They even followed up to thank me after I let them know that a minor issue had been resolved with their kind help. Stellar ❣️❣️❣️
