Absolutely horrible service. I signed up for a subscription. Tried GIANT on multiple flights and in flight was told that I still need to purchase credits while in flight. When I’ve tried to cancel my subscription I get an automated email asking that I use the “email us” via GIANT (which is how I emailed them first) and can not get through at all via the phone. Will be disputing my charges.

I’m going to heed some caution here. While it is nice to have internet on longer flights I would make sure you double check on your specific flight that the WiFi capabilities are actually working. Not one of my flights but two had their WiFi down. So my $30 purchase was rendered useless with no ability to refund. In the future I will wait until the flight is underway rather than trying to be preemptive.

I recommend the airline or GIANT finds a way to refund their patrons if the system is down.

Props to offering in flight WiFi but the price to number of hours is outrages! Let’s consider how much a month you pay for WiFi at home, even if you halved the amount of time you still get way way way more hours. The guess you have to have a lot of money to burn to be able to justify this luxury.

Personally, I thing the pricing and credit buying system is overpriced significantly....BUT if you absolutely need in air WiFi...this is your gateway.

I think they should creat the availability to do GIANT / account set up in the air....for those who either forgot or weren’t able to do it on the ground.

New to GIANT , but so far really enjoying the usability and functionality. Great to have everything in one spot so I don’t have to download a different app every time.

Well WiFi as we know is useful in our everyday lives, it would be great if something as vital as internet service was free for all, maybe someday.

I love how easy and seamless it is to get WiFi on a flight with GIANT. With these credits, you can choose from most major airlines based in different countries. This works with all 3 legacy US carriers, which is great for me! The e-sim function is also pretty neat if you’re traveling and need something to tide you over until you can grab a sim card.

The service I received from Wificoin was amazing!!! It allowed me to be able to fully use any app on my phone. Without wificoin I would not have been able to use my phone on my flight.

I fly a great deal, and have a love/hate relationship with inflight wifi, and the “15 minutes of free wifi” offers airlines tend to have. Most of the time there is one or two critical emails I am waiting for, but not sure when it will arrive, and so I strategically space out when to redeem that credit. Far enough into the flight that the email is likely to be there, but early enough that I still have time to do what I need with it. It’s super annoying, and I hate paying $10 or $20 flat rate internet for that one message. GIANT lets me have a credit that I can use a little bit at a time all flight. Let’s me check my emails and only pay a little, then again in 30 mins, etc. I end up getting through the flight for $2 worth of internet instead of $19. I honestly wish GIANT were supported universally. It’s such a better model than the flat rate thing where you buy minutes and data you don’t use.

While i havent used GIANT yet. Not much flying going on right now. The idea behind it is really good. Use what you need. especially valuable when you have connecting flights on different airlines.

I found out about GIANT through a friend and I’m glad I did! I used this to purchase credits for in flight wifi, and I think I saved ~$15 from what I would’ve paid through the airline.

I travel a lot and on different airlines so I have several different WiFi apps for each airline. Always wished there was just one. One the ground and in the air this one gets me from start to finish on any trip.

Now I don’t have to pay for a whole flight of Wifi in case the Wifi is down for part of the flight. I just pay for what I use. So smart. And there were hotspots available at all the airports I went through. Love it.

If you’re a frequent traveler, Wificoin is a must have. Their pricing model is much friendlier compared to airlines traditional flat rate for wifi. With GIANT, you pay for what you use. The interface is easy to use and understand, and they even have offers to earn credit towards free inflight wifi. Definitely try GIANT out!

So far so good I’ve downloaded GIANT and I’m gonna try this Friday when I go home see how it works for now I’m gonna give it a five star but will see you Friday or Saturday to see what happens with it stays as a five star or it goes down to one star or worse zero stars.

When you fly frequently and you depend on connection all the time for your work ( emails, customer relations ,... ) you appreciate this kind of apps , it works at a fair speed and the most important thing is that I can keep checking on my business.

I was able to connect to Gogo inflight WiFi using Wificoin on American Airlines, Delta and Alaska airlines without buying individual passes for each airline and each flight. I always work on the flights and always see myself purchasing different packages from each flight even if it is a connecting flight. Wificoin allows me to purchase credits once and use it on multiple airlines. It’s pay as you go model suits my work travel needs. This is a winner for me! Thank you Wificoin!

I used it on my flight from SF to LA, didn’t expect to get top speed but I actually got 22 Mbps, which was great for all the apps I use on my phone.
