Not sure how sensitive the scanner is

I love this idea, and it’s the first app that’ll actually analyze a pregnancy test, but I don’t like that you can’t upload your test, and I’m not sure about the sensitivity of the scanner. I took a test at 7dpo, early, yes, I know, and there was clearly a line, but EasyRead said “not pregnant.” I posted my test on the checker app, and 41 people voted that it was positive, and only 7 voted negative. EasyRead did also state that it may have been too early to tell and to try again in a week. I won’t know for sure now if it’s positive until if/when I get a darker line. I wish I could post a photo of my test because the line is blatantly there. Otherwise though, great concept, and if your line is dark enough, it works great! I guess only time will tell for me.

Great concept, needs more features

I love the idea of pregnancy test brands making an app to scan their tests for better clarity, however, the scanner scans so fast that all I’m scanning is a blurry window. I wish there was a feature where you could press a button when you’re ready for it to scan. Brilliant concept though and I’m sure it works great on obvious positives but if the line is so faint that you need an app to tell you, then EasyRead needs work.

Nice idea but technology isn’t there

EasyRead takes the photo AS SOON AS you put the test under the lens— it doesn’t attempt to focus or adjust lighting prior. This leads to blurry and/or inaccurate results.
It’s a nice idea but they need to invest a lot more time, money, effort, and recourses to ensure it does well.
EasyRead isn’t any better than just using your regular own eyes to see if you’re pregnant. If you were hoping (like me) that it’d be able to bridge the gap between the times where you’re not sure if it’s a vvvvfl or an indent line, this is not EasyRead for you.

Not Worth the Download

Takes the picture too quickly. Won’t tell you you’re pregnant unless it’s very clearly a bold positive, in which case you wouldn’t need EasyRead the clarify anyway. If it’s a faint line it’ll just say negative. There’s no way to make sure the picture is of good quality/focus/lighting before it immediately throws a “not pregnant” result in your face. Do yourself a favor and don’t bother downloading EasyRead. Wanted to delete it immediately after downloading. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Horrible up to read results

EasyRead is supposed to help you interpret the results in case you doubt however the centering of the oval is so sensitive you waist so much time trying to have in the correct angle and then it just stops trying after a while so at the end you end up loosing a lot of time. If you get a fainted strip it reads it as negative unless it is a strong blue strip to me it is a sign of a high positive negative since it should be no strip at all if not pregnant or a strip if pregnant just a clean response not an in between.

Hard to take a clear picture

I agree with the other reviewers. The concept is great but the execution needs work. It often scans a blurry photo bc it goes off too fast and then says it’s negative—even when there’s definitely a (faint) line there. I’m sure a darker line would work better, but in that case you wouldn’t need an app to confirm the test is positive.

As bad as their new tests

Go buy the Walmart cheapies. First they decrease the quality on their tests giving everyone under the sun pink evap lines and indents (Read the baby boards. Countless women including myself have gotten these and blood work to prove it’s not a chemical. Whole 3 packs doing this.) Now they think an app that can’t wait 1 minute to even capture the screen and reads a blur will butter is up. I suppose if it did focus it’d be giving a lot of false reads. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Disappointed.

Gotta be quick

I love EasyRead . Works easy, but it takes the picture on its own to quick before your phone can focus. It needs to be where YOU can choose when to click for the capture. Other than that…its nice.

Great concept but needs some work

In theory it’s a great app but lacks clarity in the scanning option, for starters it definitely doesn’t give the camera time to focus and just quickly snaps a picture which doesn’t give accurate results for example was a clear positive and it kept saying negative 🤷‍♀️

Bad quality tests

I can’t tell you how discouraged upset sad and disappointed I am to keep getting faint lines with first response just to find out I am not pregnant. Do they do this deliberately? Make it where a woman thinks she’s pregnant so she rushes to buy more tests to confirm?? This is a joke and sad. I wish we had more options besides first response and clear blue. But first response is KNOWN for inaccuracy all the time

Such a disappointment and makes me sad :(

Scans test too fast

EasyRead scans the test way too quickly. It doesn’t even give you a chance to adjust. And it said negative for one of my tests with a very faint line, I confirmed that line was real the following day with another test. However EasyRead did not capture that original line. I think it may have if I had a chance to adjust the test for the photo to make it easier to be seen.

Doesn’t seem accurate

Got a faint line I could easily see with my eyes, but EasyRead wouldn’t register it. Guess I’ll have to wait until the line isn’t so faint, which kind of defeats the purpose of EasyRead , but I get that they’re maybe trying to exclude evap lines and chemical pregnancies?

Cool concept but not accurate

The idea is great and the first of its kind however there is no way it’s accurate at least with faint results given how quickly EasyRead takes the picture. I suggest allowing for a picture upload instead.

By

Doesn’t take good pics

I have a pink line but it’s really faint. EasyRead is useless. It only works if the line is strong and if it’s strong and clearly visible then I don’t need EasyRead . Work on your picture quality and stop making it take a pic so fast. We should also be able to upload pics as well as zoom in. Whoever made this wasn’t really thinking.

Great!

IM not sure why other women are having issues I had a very faint line that I didn’t even believe and EasyRead told me yes it was positive. IM six days before my cycle too!

By

Nice idea, needs a lot of improvements

Takes a very blurry pic so it doesn’t see the lines clearly! So it reads a lot of faint positives and negative. Most people want it to help determine faint positives from ghost lines. I might be able to
Do that if it could take a CLEAR picture!

Tested out trigger shot

Tested out my trigger shot with these and they clearly show two lines (which they’re supposed to since the shot has hcg in it) and EasyRead tells me they’re negative. So now at least I know not to scan my results in EasyRead, because it doesn’t even recognize positive results.
My cheapies also show two lines on them.

Unnecessary App - Not as Sensitive as the tests

At the point at which EasyRead could pick up a second line, you would easily be able to see the second line. I can see a second line in person now and EasyRead still says not pregnant. A pregnancy test brand so infamous for their indents even their app doesn’t trust them.

By

Not accurate

I took my test within the correct time frame (6 days before period) and I can clearly see a line, but EasyRead says negative. I also don’t like how quickly it takes the picture because I feel like it does not give accurate results, since the picture is so blurry.

By

If I could give it no stars I would

Like others have said.. I don’t know how sensitive this is, but I had two lines (can now confirm pregnant) and it kept telling me I am not pregnant. It doesn’t seem like you can take your time lining your test up to take the photo either. Has potential but this isn’t it yet.
