Speaking with a Vetrinarian through the video chat was so helpful! Dr. Lu did a thorough intake and evaluation of our elderly Golden Labrador Retriever and provided me with the next steps that would be of the greatest benefit to Lucy. I HIGHLY recommend FirstVet and the yearly unlimited visit subscription!! It will save a lot of money for us overall because we have access to a certified Vetrinarian 24/7 who will help us evaluate and clarify events for ER, and those that can be treated at home, or wait for an appointment with our regular vet. Dr. Lu was not only very knowledgeable, but also genuinely kind, caring and compassionate! If you have pets of any kind, I highly recommend getting FirstVet and signing up for their services.

An absolute MUST HAVE for all animal owners!!! Dr. Michanowitcz was an absolute godsend! She was professional and educated, able to explain everything to me in a timely manner in a way I understood.

I am so greatful for FirstVet. considering a single in office Vet consultation starts at $100, a 1 year subscription of the same price is a no brainer. And I was able to be seen within 15 mins in the middle of the night without any wait. Find that at your local vet. You won’t. She was punctual and so compassionate and gave me everything in detail on call, as well as written notes sent for record in my phone.

I was not sure what to expect when I first downloaded FirstVet, but i was impressed with how smooth this went down. Now I don’t have to stress out and wonder if my dogs need to go to the vet, I have this portal to a doctor at my fingertips 24/7

I have been recommending this app to everyone i know with a pet for the last year. Today I signed on to make an appointment and EVERYTHING had changed. Instead of just looking through and picking a date/time/vet I first had to chat with a nurse for 30 minutes answering questions. I have loved this service because I was able to pick the vets we had seen before and not answer the same questions again. Also, I think I saw that a wellness visit is no longer included? That does not make sense to me. I’m pretty disappointed that there wasn’t an email at least to notify of all of the changes since it is a subscription service. I signed up for 24/7 access to video chats with veterinarians. That is no longer what this is.

A zero star rating should be available. I only purchased the service to get my dogs meds so I wouldn’t have to go into a vet because of COVID. You don’t find out they can’t do meds until after the purchase. I didn’t use the service, immediately cancelled and deleted FirstVet within minutes) but they still charged me and said “you can continue to use the service until…" I DONT WANT YOUR SERVICE!!!! and of course the ONLY WAY to contact them is via email. Why would anyone purchase a vet service where they literally can’t do ANYTHING but talk to you and tell you to go see a real vet? They will probably screw me (a disabled veteran on a fixed income) out of the $65 too. I will update the review after they email me back. If they do. Very misleading.

With our local weekend vet telling me that they had a 3 hour wait for walk-ins, I gladly turned to this app. I’m glad I remembered that they are partnered with Eusoh. I was able to schedule an appointment within 30 minutes. Dr. Patricia Banks was awesome! Super personable, professional, knowledgeable, and caring. I didn’t feel rushed at all during the call and she was able to answer all my questions and gave me great direction in caring for my 90 lb GSD and his tummy issues. She sent a follow-up email after our appointment with everything we discussed. Cannot recommend this service enough!

Night before we are leaving for a trip out of town and our Rhodesian Labrador was having some terrible tummy issues. Our emergency vets in the area can take up to 7hours of wait time and I was desperate to talk to someone because he was getting dehydrated. Used FirstVet and in 45 min I had an appt. Dr. Pilgram was wonderful. Super nice and friendly. She had some great tips for us to rehydrate our guy and things to look for. I was so thankful for the quick advice before we pass our guy over to family for the next few days. Ty!!

This is the third time that I’ve used this service when I’ve had urgent situations with my pets. I just faced times with one of this app vet this morning.

On 3 occasions, our pets weren’t doing well and our in person vet wasn’t available and couldn’t fit our pets in last minute.

That’s very stressful on a worried pet mom/dad and that’s the last thing a sick pet needs to worry about.

this app Vets have been there for my pets right away and the knowledge they have is phenomenal. They ask a lot of questions about your pet so they can do a thorough job at figuring out what’s causing the issues and properly recommend the proper treatment.
I just recommend them to another pet owner this morning who said that’s exactly what she needed for all of her cats and dogs. this app is my peace of mind for my pets. Thank you this app and the wonderful Vets!

For my wife and I, anything that can safe us a trip to the vet is money well spent. Our fur babies are our children and we are dedicated to giving them a good quality of life.
With that said, they have health hiccups here and there and most of the time they aren’t life threatening but we don’t want to ever risk it. Sometimes this happens on the weekend when our family vet is closed. This means we have to go to an emergency vet and pay triple what we would pay for a regular appointment. Usually we end up with a response of “they just ate something they shouldn’t have and they’ll pass it in the next day”.

Boom. $250 down the drain.

Today was the first time I used FirstVet and it’s a Saturday. Saved me $200. I will be using FirstVet from now on.
10/10 would absolutely recommend!

Rebecca was awesome! This was our first time using FirstVet and we got exactly what we needed. We were considering having to take our kitten to the emergency room which we knew would be expensive. Rebecca was very professional and she put our minds at ease. We will be making a vet appointment for an in-person follow up but we feel like we saved hundreds of dollars avoiding the animal hospital. this app was exactly what we needed!

I got FirstVet today and used it basically right away. My cat has been throwing up and I was panicking (ugly crying included) but after speaking with one of the vets on FirstVet I got a lot more comfortable with what to watch for, and what I can do to help him and my anxiety went from a 10 down to a 4. AND it was easy to set up the appointment, the vet was so nice and explained things in a way I could genuinely understand.

Exactly what I needed at 1am when my dog was bitten by another dog. Since it wasn’t too serious I wasn’t sure if it warranted a midnight visit to the emergency room, but I wanted to make sure I made the right call. Found this service and managed to video conference a vet who checked out my dog over video, reviewed his bites and was able to calm me down and give me appropriate next steps. Thank you so much! You guys are a lifesaver !!!

Great advice and very pleasant we were able to answer our questions as you can see his video chat that’s a wonderful thing because she could see everything the paw is gums and we learned a lot about bee stings and kitties. This is our first line of defense for keeping our pets happy and healthy. It’s super convenient to speak with licensed veterinarians from the comfort of our own home, especially for the four legged family members who don’t particularly enjoy the stress of travel, being in an foreign and unfamiliar environment, or being poked and prodded by strangers.

Amazing. I said earlier “I wish I could just talk to a vet really quick to get some reassurance that this is nothing serious/be told it’s serious and I need to rush her to a vet” - lo and behold that’s exactly what this was. 30 mins later and the amazing and sweet doctor was “in” our living room taking a look at my girl. Couldn’t recommend highly enough!

Had my dog get mildly hit by a car with no emergency vets within 100 miles to see him. Saw this as last resort. Was able to get consult within 10 minutes and was able to get valuable information to help ease my issue that will help while I wait for an opening for a visit

My dog has been throwing up all afternoon/evening and I was so worried because the closest ER vet is over an hour away & the wait is over 15 hours. FirstVet allowed me to show my dog, explain the symptoms with a professional and turns out I got the OKAY to wait to take my baby Jazz in the morning to the vet if she continues to throw up throughout the night. Love FirstVet. Well worth it!

Provides quick visits with a legitimate veterinarian. They are not able to write prescriptions, but are still able to give advice and direction on what the best steps are for your pet’s issues. Saved us a two hour round trip to the vet’s office and gave us some great remedies for our dog’s illness, highly recommend FirstVet.

this app is a must for pet parents. The vets are available 24/7 and they are so knowledgeable and helpful. Perfect for moments when you would otherwise take your pet to an emergency clinic overnight, or even for smaller worries that you’re unsure about. this app makes me feel empowered and confident about taking care of my dog!

I have a cat with FIV so I always want to act quick when he’s feeling sick. this app is great to ask questions and get some quick advice. Much like human telehealth doctors they’ll tell you to see an in person vet if it’s anything serious, but getting to talk to them about urgency and possibilities brings me great peace of mind.

I’m a single divorced guy, my rescue the most important thing in my life. My Zeus got quilled by porcupine. Two weeks later he had red mark under his eyes. I just needed someone to look at a picture of him and tell me if I need to get him into the ER again, or what I needed todo. Dr. Givler was exactly what I needed. I cannot thank her enough.

Having a pet who is not well is extremely stressful because they can’t verbally tell you what is wrong.. being a first time puppy owner it’s like having my first child not knowing what is what and worrying about every little thing magnifying every scenario that it could be. Googling symptoms only seem to intensify this. Thankfully for me I stumbled onto FirstVet at 3am in the morning after being woken up to my gagging 1yr old min pin. Not knowing if I should call into work and taking her to a 24hr vet for an emergency (only 24 hr clinic is 45min-1hr away) or if she was ok enough to wait till her scheduled appointment later that day I set up a 3 month subscription and made a video call appointment. After speaking with Dr Cohen not only were my anxieties relieved but I am also more confident going into Eleys vet appointment. FirstVet was a genius idea and I’m very grateful it exists!
