I’m a shipper who wanted to post loads we need to ship every month cross country. When I contacted there tech support through the online chat asking how to post a load, I was asked our website address. I asked why do they need it? They said they need it so we could do business with them. They’ve also asked our company info and that’s fine. But when I’ve asked which law does state business in US must have a website to do any business they kicked me out of the chat (while I was typing in our company information). Absolutely unprofessional behavior.

PS. After the chat it asked me if I wanted a transcript of the chat. I typed in my email and clicked email it to me, but never got it.

A question because DATOne gives the brokers the option to know how many people looked at their load and how many company drivers there are in that area, for that reason and many other things, they lower the prices of the loads because they know that there are more trucks than loads, supposedly one is not obliged to take it for that low price but they know from what was said before that someone is going to move their load

It's outrageous! Not only is this service provider failing to weed out scammers, but they're also disrupting the operations of longstanding, paying customers. This negligence is unacceptable and may even breach legal agreements. It's time to demand accountability and take legal action if necessary to protect your rights as a paying customer.

It's a blatant breach of trust! Service providers have a legal obligation to distinguish between legitimate, law-abiding customers and those engaging in illicit activities. Punishing loyal customers who have complied with all legal requirements is not only unethical but may also constitute a violation of consumer rights. Legal action should be considered to ensure accountability and protect the rights of loyal clientele.

What has happened to the DOT app that I used to love and use every day? It now appears that scammers and double brokers have taken over the platform. Consequently, I have stopped using it. You book a load, complete your work, but then the brokers refuse to pay you. This results in wasted fuel and time, which are costly in today’s economy. It seems that DATOne is doing nothing to prevent double brokers or scammers.

Where is the refresh rate on this thing set to, when I’m scrolling over loads my eyes are going blurry, please check your app settings, someone messed something up, it is no longer a smooth experience ever since an update a few months ago. iPhone 15 pro max, not an iPhone issue - this is a software issue - tried all the usual steps to fix - same outcome

We need the red dat back , can’t look for multiple routes , have to enter new locations every time , example I’m trying to look for loads for the 11th and 13th only but not the 12th can’t do it anymore and also you can’t preset your regular routes you have to enter and delete every search,. example I’m trying to have Riverside, Ca to Tracy, ca In search ready as well as Tracy , Ca back to Riverside, Ca , as well as Riverside to Arizona and back before you can have them preset and just change the dates and your golden now you have re enter everything new locations , dates , reefer or van to etc… by the time you Enter you will lose a load . , cancellation of DATOne after 10 years + will be a sure deal . Why make things more difficult, ridiculous unnecessary changes , should have just added to red dat board, you will definitely lose customers, the only customers that will probably like DATOne will be the new customers that never used the red load board , it was simplicity at its finest now it’s Trash .

Been using the old version and loved it. Today I was officially cut off. I HATE the new version. You raise the rate and then totally screw up DATOne . Tempted to delete and cancel my subscription. Have enough contact now I don’t need some garbage app. The old version STILL had more loads than this new one. Don’t waste my time telling me you’ll take my comments into consideration. We’re stuck with this garbage app and YOU KNOW IT!! The old version was easier to scan through. I could see more loads at a time. Had exactly the information I needed in front of me and links were provided for directions email addresses phone numbers etc. why on earth would you change what was so easy to use and effective? And raise the cost yet besides?!?! Shouldn’t we at least have the option of the legacy view???!!! After all we’re paying for this!! I don’t care about the extra information like profit calculator and averages etc, just need the basic information. Hate the black map. Again…why?? Try to expand the lousy map and it constantly opens my email. NO!!!!! GIVE US THE OLD APP BACK!!!

For the whole year maybe I booked three loads out of dat load board. You should be able to see all the apps like Uber and CH ROBINSON because this one clearly it’s not doing the job.

We do not like the new app!
This is not improvement, this is downgrading! We can see less loads than before with so much unnecessary information that makes scroll more and get a head ache of not finding what we are looking for. The developer team should be fired and hired another one that will keep app user friendly.
You dont understand how many dussapointed customers you got because of this new app look.
Interface is very complicated to use and time consuming.
You need to pay attention to the reviews posted online all over the internet. People are not happy with it. And please stop copy/paste same lame reply to all of the users. Take notes and reach your clients, make surveys to find out what they like and what dont.
It is not complicated, you just have to collect all the feedbacks given and get it fixed. We the customers are not happy with the new app. Makes our life way harder than you think. You will need to check your competition - other loadboards and also every broker’s loadboard to see what is there and make it less complicated. I cannot describe how many people are struggling using your loadboard now.
Take notes and try to fix it as much as you can! We need developers who know the business and how important is to be easy and less time consuming because time is our most valuable resource nowdays. Thanks for your time if you read all my post!

When you people developed DATOne did you consider what the owner operators and drivers wanted or where you just concerned about the amount of money you can make forcing people to use the new version. The old version was perfect. It could’ve used some upgrades but it was fine just the way it was! The old app had way more load options I never had to reenter the type equipment I had. Then You give us the new version with all these pointless features charge us for it while at the same lowering our profits for the sake of your bank account. I am not impressed

DAT Team, I don’t know what was the intention or if you even let people try it and give you feedback but DATOne is so bad to use for truckers and dispatchers. We all missed the old app. Please fix it soon or at least allow the old app to be used until you fixed.
- You added so many unnecessary steps.
- Now if you edit your load search it creates a new search. I end up the days with 20 recent searches. Horrible.
- You can’t swipe back anymore to go to the previous screen.
- You can’t zoom in the map unless you save the load first. Horrible
- In general the colors and contrast of this new app make everything less readable and enjoyable.
I’m sure I’m forgetting something… Please fix it or let us use the old app.

What’s the point of looking for a load if u just going to loose money on it. Having to look trough garbage just to find something ok. Also what about the no rate posted loads at least put have a minimum then can negotiate or take it. But having to call or email just to wait and if they answer to tell you it pays less than 1 dollar per mile for 1500 miles is wasting our time. Lastly the live refresh rate should be a standard feature we should be able to see what is happening real time and not having to keep hitting the refresh rate and miss on stuff.

The nerve of these developers to ruin such a great app for this overhauled garbage. DATOne is full of bugs. Also you added all these extra features to the interface and its just too much. The worst part of it is the lack of email option for alerts. This is not made for the trucker who is on the go. They have made DATOne for dispatchers who are sitting at a computer with auto refresh on. Thanks for ruining DATOne and no longer caring for the most important piece of the puzzle. The Drivers. I would avoid DATOne if possible. This would be a great time for another app to come along and put this dying app in its grave.

I can’t believe the way you guys change everything with no reason, don’t say changes is not easy or DATOne are the same as the red one to calm down everybody, because is NOT!
1.- No reason to change DATOne nobody ask for new one
2.- DATOne is not better than the red if you change something make sure the new is better than the old.
3.- Harder to use.
4.- If you want to sent a picture from the load to somebody you need to take like 3 screenshot, before 1 was enough.
5.- You can’t go back just sliding you finger left to right.
6.- You can’t refresh easy with your finger you have to press a button.
7.- My iPhone has a dark theme for instagram, messages etc but I don’t like the DAT app black and guess what I can’t even change it to white WTH are you guys serious.
8.- Nobody likes DATOne.
Why you guys just seat in your office and do nothing with all this complaint? We all are paying for this and you guys didn’t care about us

I am just blown away how disastrous DATOne is, who on earth came up with the idea of DATOne and who on earth approved this to be put out there you guys need to use a owner operator to develop apps to understand what is really needed or not I don’t think anybody complained on the old app DAT just decided to do something new and you guys failed big time. Just bring back the old app, leave it the way it was you want to add a few more features fine, but leave everything else the same. DAT should concentrate on making sure no double brokers, shady brokers get to post freight making sure that they always have a valid working phone number in the posting ,any broker that uses email only is shady. Making sure that people cannot login from outside United States the way all these shady double brokers do. Making sure all the addresses brokers are using are not virtual offices, any broker that uses virtual office is a shady Broker as well. DAT help us owner operators to make money not to lose money in this industry.

This is not a good app it doesn’t work well with iso and we pay a lot of money for your service and then you force underdeveloped apps on us that is not as good as your old one like you know what works best for us do the developers actually run up and down the road using DATOne looking for loads in a hurry in a industry where time is not your friend the longer it takes to do something the more likely the load you calling on is gone with iso it will not save your equipment type and if you use the recent search history you have to change your location it’s all a big pain for a app we pay 100 dollars or more a month you act like the government just do and force on people what you want

Oh wow. I see I’m not the only one to have a problem with the small text and unnecessary need for boxes. We are truck drivers, not toddlers. There’s an option to call directly from DATOne but no option to email and on top of that, you can’t copy the email address from DATOne (or anything else for that matter) so you have to manually type it in - and make sure you get it right. What a giant waste of space and time.

The load details page is alright, just add an option for email and then remove boxes from the main results page and make the text bigger and you’ll be halfway there. It’s a shame a company this big has an app so poorly designed. If you need ideas just look at some of the other apps and see how far behind you are when it comes to designing a user friendly app with great design and functionality.

Whoever decided to change DATOne into this app literally ruined the load board. Used to be my go to app as an owner operator, now DATOne can’t even let you search a load before either asking for more money, glitching, not showing all available loads, and limiting user access for a company, and many more reasons DATOne failed. Also, Not properly allowing old app users to transition accounts. BIG FAIL!
We can’t even call brokers to book, do understand trucking companies are on the go and need to contact brokers asap. Not texting or waiting for a reply from an email.

Every time I go to change sort by it clicks on a load. And It’s harder to focus On loads when scrolling threw. I think if it ain’t broken don’t fix it. I’ve been using the old app cause it’s way easier. I just have to shut it down each time after I leave DATOne . But I rather do that till I can’t use it no more. If you where going to change DATOne . Make it easier for driver. In the comment box. Let use copy. So many broker post there numbers and emails there and it would make it easier to copy it. Instead of going back in forward. When the broker company sets up they should have an option to put there direct email n number when posting a load. Come on now make it easier. Don’t make DATOne fancy. Driver just need simple easy to use app. It’s not complicated.

Well 1st off there was nothing wrong with red app dat did not need a new app the red one did the job for less money but isn’t that what it’s all about DAT thinks we all need this to prosper but in reality we don’t , no one likes paying more for same or worse services
2nd I do not agree with your response that your work comes with a financial benefit for developer’s effort’s and I am positive I am not the only one that believes this, as stated before the older app worked just as well if not better but more power to ya if you can squeeze more out of companies that actually support your company. Why would dat be any different.

Complained about the new app and i got a respond from so called DAT team to call 8** number after i called as they suggested ,the person on the phone didn't even know why i am calling that number to complain about apple app . You can see how careless their IT team .

1st. they created APP so inconvenient to work with .
2nd. They really could careless about that reviews in here.
***According to me even a truck driver was gonna come up with better easier to work APP even creating it that APP while DRIVING ..

DATOne is horrible compared to the old one. It takes so many more steps or clicks to do simple things. Want to see a map of the trip? Now you have to save it, then go to your saved trips, then click the map. This used to be one click in the other app. Want to remove saved trips that you only saved so you can see the pick up and drop locations on a map? Now you have to go to your saved trips, open that trip, then un save it. Used to be one swipe. Just some of the many problems.

If I look for a load 1 to 2 days out, it’s showing Loads posted for today but with a future date. Three separate loads I’ve called him this morning have been dated for today when I talk to the broker but DAT shows them dated for tomorrow.

You guys added the map on top of the single load page but I can’t zoom in or out or move it to see well the arra where the load is picking up or going. Also would be nice to force the broker to put something in the drop off box, and if they don’t have the appointment available then they could select an option for that, we have to waist time calling the broker just to find out the appointments times and have to do long hold times sometimes, if we could see that information already the we can move on to the next load and not have to waist time calling to get information that should already be on the load page.

Dat board and truck stop is like twins. They let the brokers control DATOne . Without the owner operators there would be no use for the load boards. Have tried two different times at the truck show in Louisville Ky. Start making brokers put information about the load in comment section. Not their email address or stupid comment two or three times. Like what is the load, tarp, no tarp and what size tarp. Get tired of wasting time on calling brokers to find they want 8’ tarps and I don’t carry 8s. All it would take is to have a drop down box. Where the broker had to pick the option to post the load. I have the top package on dat and truck stop and they are just alike. The reason I have got is they don’t want to make the broker mad. Make them do there job. What brokers is not smart enough to figure out is. If there is no information in the comment section or phone number. I just pass it bye and go on to someone else. I am not wasting time on the phone. Why do they want to.

One: Dat is crazy expensive for only single searches. Like really? Hard to utilize your system when it’s on a pay lock. I pay 150 a month and I’m not afforded that? I can for 180 but it’s not worth it.

Two: DATOne is okay. And for Apple users it’s better than running desktop. But it doesn’t save recent searches. Doesn’t save preferred searches which is what we pay for…we’re pay locked for what we want but what we pay for doesn’t work.

The old app gave you a better view and you were able to see more loads in your screen at once. The only good thing is that they added the map feature where it shows the pick and drop point. But otherwise now you have to scroll to see MC# and score. It’s clunky. All drivers I spoke to aren’t happy.

There are two things that I really miss from the red load board. 1- when scrolling through the load results, please add the ability to refresh when we pull down and release. Currently the only way to refresh is to hit the refresh bottom on the top right corner. 2- when we have a load open, please add the that when we swipe right from the left side of the screen, we go back to the load results. Currently, we have to hit the back arrow on the top left corner. Both of these two features were on the red load board and I would really appreciate it if these can be implemented into this new app. I saw another review and that person had these two same requests.

I’m not the first or last to say we don’t like the new app. First thing the text is too small. The boxes are not necessary. Also when choosing a new city you have to imput the types of truck loads you can do. Overall this new app isn’t helping us. It’s making our view of loads harder. I’m glad I do not drive because if I had to use DATOne everyday omg. I tried DATOne when it was first suggested and compared time to look at a load on both apps. This one severely slows the process. Please bring back the look and feel of old app. You will see a decline in app usage from this horrible app. It’s too much. Too small we don’t need a map. We don’t need small text inside boxes. If anything the old app needed to be bigger. Dat is slow and clunky on the desk top but it’s our only option now of being efficient with your platform. Now I can’t book a load on the go. Good job developers. You failed.

I like DATOne . It’s been more stable as of recent as far as shutting down. The main issues now seem to be keeping up with the IOS updates. Mainly mapping to see distance between cities and locations of PU and Drops. The extra step on time spent pulling up an external map can make or break my business due to the competition in a relatively slow market. Please fix this issue. I’d love to revisit this rating to raise it to 5stars.

I recently updated DATOne , and I had hoped that would fix the problem with the map!
However, it didn’t happen!

This is a huge and very productive tool to have, and one of the things I really liked about DATOne !
It would be nice to see This issue resolved!

The other thing I would really like to see is, insisting that the brokers put the information about the load in the posting!
You have areas set aside to do this, but very few use them!
Times and dates for pick up/delivery, commodity, etc.!
This would save both the driver and the Broker huge amounts of time on the phone!

If these things were to happen, I think DATOne would be well worth the price!
Without them, it’s a very average tool to work with!

A Waste of time, hope and money checking DATOne all day everyday for maybe 1 cargo van load a week or every two weeks!! They have no notifications feature so you can’t get alerts and you will not get a refund if you dont get any loads your first month. good luck or get a BIGGER vehicle.

I want to sort by date.

And I have another lane

Los Angeles CA to Greenville SC

I want to sort by Rate

Currently whatever sort option choose that applies to all lanes. It will be helpful for user to have sort option for individual lane.

DATOne has so much potential. My biggest problem is for some odd reason when I try to book a load a day early (tomorrow 9/2) every place tells me the load is for today not tomorrow (today 9/1). And I can’t seem to find my saved loads..fix these couple bugs and this will be my go to app!

You should add a option to the filter section or somewhere on DATOne to allow me to filter out brokers I don’t wanna see! Like give me the option to only search loads from brokers of my choosing. Only filter option available is (factorable) make it to where I can select a list of brokers to search.

I love DATOne but the only thing that’s missing is the blue check mark. It would be easier to verify brokers in DATOne with the blue check mark instead of going online to to do credit verification. The sight of the check mark removes the extra step. Besides that I love how easy it is the view all info for the load. One more thing … the map to view route isn’t working anymore. To me those 2 things would definitely be a 5 star rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Been using this for a long time. The only down fall is brokers need accountability for putting the correct price of load. When I call the load is less than what they post …. Smh brokers try scamming and pocketing

In the beginning of this new app i never thought i will ever use it, but things are getting better every time gets updated. I still believe the price is way too high, because as O/O i get over 75% of my loads from the brokers app which is free. I hope you guys consider price cut. I know cost everything went up but for truckers their rate went down and expenses went up.

When selecting which type of truck there is no simple option for reefer box trucks. I currently have to use the reefer van selection paired with a weight and length limits. Even when doing this some brokers don’t want a reefer box. It gets frustrating trying to search post comments for a reefer box tag. Also please add a quick way to block brokers I am getting tired of seeing 50 GolbalTranz post with dirt cheap rates clogging up the selection I will never take a load from them or any other broker who wants to make more money from a 2 minute phone call than I do operating a truck for X amount of hours. Other than this DATOne is great and convenient it continues to get better and I get 95% of my loads from DAT ONE so for that thank you! Add these 2 features and you got my 5th star!

I was reading reviews and got really freaked out about the new app, but I actually like it. It might have more info then some people need but for me it works. Overall I think it's a good one so far. I gave it 4 starts because you can't search for more then one load at the time.

When I get on DATOne to look at load’s available I’m not able to look more than a minute and it flashes back to home screen of my phone. Any help on fixing this issue would be appreciated. I made sure app was updated as well as my phone. *update…received a call from a representative with DAT who helped me along with a common issue that was going on and was simple to fix thank you very much!!

Dat is probably the best load board in the trucking business. Their app are easy to use and easy to understand. If you have a problem with DATOne just call them and they are very knowledgeable. Been using them for 5 years. Great job guys.

Found broker booked load to San Diego, Ca from Los Angeles, CA rate was good. Dispatch was helpful. Easy run down the I-5. Would definitely try and book more local loads with MIDL in the future.
