Is this a joke?

Clearly designed by someone who very much wants you to NOT visit any sights. When it opens, and it is not guaranteed that it will, the navigation is horrid. Once you figure that out, actually adding something to the cart takes forever. And if you do get something added to your cart, good luck finalizing the purchase. In over an hour of trying I was never able to get a transaction to happen.

No tickets, deleting ParcoColosseo . Plenty of stuff to see and do in Rome without having to pay to put up with this sort of frustration.

Excellent app

You can save yourself the 6 euros audio guide. ParcoColosseo does it. No stuck issues like the other reviews say.

Italian language only!?

I’ve downloaded ParcoColosseo from US AppStore and it’s all in Italian, the description, the audio guides, security info — everything!!! Please add the language menu!

Hahahahahaha. A joke!

Okay, let me describe the scenario to you. The parking around this building wasn’t horrible. There were a bunch of open spaces. We took quite a TREK to reach the entrance into the Colosseum. Like many of you, we had to wait in a line to enter. Once our turn came, we were told to go to some website. We went there and it brought up a 404 Error. The helping guy said to download an app instead. After getting ParcoColosseo , we followed pages of instructions in Italian. At least this guy was nice enough to help the clueless tourists. ParcoColosseo has so many glitches and bugs. There WAS a menu at the top for different languages, but that went away too. It went away once the company started asking for a payment. That led to a different website with only italian. That helper guy was helpful here, too. The one thing that makes ZERO sense is that ParcoColosseo was just a website branded as an app. The whole time it felt like a link that you press in the description of a youtube video. If you know, you know.

In conclusion, ParcoColosseo is trash and should not be a requirement to get into the Colosseum. Only this one helper guy was nice and the rest of the staff was rude and ignorant. Most of them were on their phones and were ignoring us, the visitors. I would definitely recommend entering this place, but I would be prepared for a large headache. What a country...

Maybe they fixed it?

I’ve seen some strong negative reviews on ParcoColosseo, but maybe they fixed it? I didn’t buy tickets through ParcoColosseo itself, instead downloaded ParcoColosseo after the fact and added my tickets to ParcoColosseo using the confirmation code. It worked great! I did all this over wifi, from my AirBnB in Italy, and the scanning of my tickets and the purchase/download/use of the audio tours went very smoothly. I’d say the content of the audio tours was similar (a little less) than what was on the signs at the Colosseum. ParcoColosseo is worth it to have your tickets handy, since you have to scan them at both the Colosseum and the Forum. Their COVID info was also up to date.
