Worst app possibly out there for a medical place. Display is so small you can barely see where things are located. Does not do full screen on tablets. Hard to navigate and missing features that are useful. Cannot attach bills or paperwork to messages. Just ugly and poor interface all around.

I’d like to start off by saying I NEVER write reviews because it just isn’t very important to me. Now this company is an absolute disgrace! If you need to speak to your doctor or anyone at your doctors office it is not possible. You could be in a literal life or death moment hingeing on speaking to your Dr or even someone at the front desk and it’s not possible. After an incident where I needed to speak to my dr about a prescription while out of town they refused to let me talk to my Dr. After begging and pleading to speak to someone I was “transferred to my doctors office” I thought my issue was handled until my prescription never came through as indicated when I talked to the “office” I called back the next day after confirming the pharmacy had nothing for me. I spoke to the same guy and who has the intelligence of maybe an 8th grader (begging and pleading once again) and I hear the girl sitting next to him say “just transfer him to me again” and I proceeded to lose my mind entirely. The amount of disrespect and audacity in a situation where I desperately needed my pain medication to transfer me to his co worker and pretend to be my office was vile, repulsive, unprofessional, and and absolute disgrace. I have never wished for a company to go out of business more than village medical. When I drove to my doctor because that was my literal only option he expressed this was not the first time he has heard of this happening. Needless to say I will never in my life use village medical for anything as long as I live. I hope someone sees this and truly listens to how big of an issue this is.

Why send it to me when VillageMedical is only avaliable to select few patients in Arizona and Kentucky.

I’d give this zero stars if I could.

I know 100% I’m putting in the right email / password for my info. But it keeps telling me the email doesn’t exist in the system when it damned well does. Help line is useless as NO ONE ANSWERS. Why is VillageMedical even out if it’s this useless?? FIX. IT. I’m sick and tired of having to go through the website that lags and barely lets me use it for freaking virtual visits. But somehow that’s still more useful than VillageMedical. 🙄🙄🙄

The medication section lacks useful details.
It will tell me the name and date it was prescribed but not what pharmacy it was sent to (I have two in my profile, only one of which shows in VillageMedical ) or how it was transmitted. If I call the pharmacy, they ask if it was faxed or sent electronically and when. The date prescribed is not useful for refills.
To use the in-app feedback you have to have Apple’s native email app installed. I don’t use that.

After a year with VillageMedical I still can’t access the portal through it. Says email or password is wrong. But will work through the website. What’s the point of having this

Village Medical is probably great for a doctor who doesn’t want to employ a full service front office that includes bookkeeping tasks. However a receptionist who is the in-office liaison between the doctor or nurse and patient is still part of the practice. How can you communicate with the medical provider? You cannot talk to them directly. You must pass communication through the Village Medical system of telephone operators or internet online website. No actual communication with your medical provider occurs. You can ask for a telephone call back from the provider but with the request going through Village Medical it takes two or three days for the callback to occur.

I want to communicate directly to my local doctor’s office in a timely manner. Village Medical is a huge barrier to communication! From a patient perspective Village Medical is not a value added service.

My provider Dr. Joseph Prows is great. VM is a definite step down from AFM:
- Phone contact, I think I actually reached someone in the same state the last time I tried calling my local clinic, previously I have had to wait in “hold purgatory” in order to talk with someone in Nashville from my location in Colorado.
-Live Chat, my app has said it is “coming soon” for the last year. It will likely be about as helpful as any of the numerous AI chat platforms encountered on a regular basis and will offer numerous close but incorrect options unless you stumble upon the correct phrasing according to the off-shore chatbot programmer.
- maybe records transfer has improved but it was quite problematic last year.

The messages don’t seem to work. Sometimes I get alerts for messages I’ve already seen. And I’m not sure that my medical team sees my messages either. As it takes sometimes weeks before I get a response. I’d rather be able to call them directly. But calling goes only to the answering service which is terrible too.

I just don’t like that you have to speak with a customer service line to book a appointment and they may not call you back until days later, also I have a medical issue and I have to wait a month to visit your location.

I have changed my number BUT it seems there’s no way to change my number on VillageMedical
The doctor has my number but it won’t get changed on VillageMedical
I am very disappointed in VillageMedical

Clunky app. Tried to write a message to my doctor and when the keyboard came up I couldn’t even see the letters I was typing, it blocked the whole field.

My dissatisfaction is with corporate structure, not the medical team at my site in Gilbert, Az. The flow of information is baffling when calling to make an appointment. My latest call for contact with my physician was scheduled to be via a video chat. I waited 30 mins or so for the call. When the call came, it was a health asst informing me the doctor would not see me via video chat and I had to come into an office over an hour plus from my house. After a discussion, where I fully own up to my irked vocal tone, I said I would not be coming in for face to face as it was too far. I went to an urgent care after concluding the call. Then, a few days later, I receive notice that I missed my appointment.

No, I did not miss an appointment that:
1. Was scheduled as a video chat
2. Appointment changed by office to in office, after 30+ min delay in contacting me to inform of doctor’s decision
3. In the phone conversation, I explicitly said I would go to Urgent Care.

I’ve been using VillageMedical for about a year and it has worked perfectly. No issues.

Until the latest update. App does not recognize my account information anymore.

Messages are never answered. Hard to get in touch with staff . My solution had to be to travel 30 minutes to the office so i could leave a message.

Test result are displayed in its own window by date, and a complete summary cannot be selected, viewed, downloaded or printed.
All medical facilities require a current lists of any condition or medication that may effect your health care.
This site claims they will-charge you for copies you require to be send out!

Easy and quick to use, but the lack of apple health record integration, like MyChart, is disappointing.

Integration allows for quick and easy comparison to old and new health records.

In Texas, they encourage us to download VillageMedical but - for now here - it’s useless. All you can do is book an appointment and maybe send a message. Everything else says: “Coming Soon.” Well, let me know when it gets here. Until then, I’ll continue accessing via the web.
