I received a bill for an office visit with PCP Veronica Green at the 5525 E. River Road location in Tucson, AZ. The bill from Village Medical itself says, "Your insurance was applied to this bill on March 1, 2025 and all services were covered." In addition, I received an Explanation of Benefits from BCBS of AZ (my secondary insurance) which states I own the Provider $0.00. Can you please tell me why I have received this bill.

I have a problem with the billing department in Arizona and want to file a formal complaint. Please send me the email address for Andrew Thompson. If I'm unable to resolve the problem, the next complaint will go to Medicare for Village Medical using an incomplete billing code.

I'm a patient at village medical in Frisco Texas, Dr.Garrett is the primary, Ssi has been asking for a letter conferencing my illness for almost a month, They want a letter stating, that I have cirrhosis hyp c terminal cancer and cold, she refused to comply, I need that letter if not legal action will be taken you a Medicare provider and have to follow their guide lines

Village Medical is probably great for a doctor who doesn’t want to employ a full service front office that includes bookkeeping tasks. However a receptionist who is the in-office liaison between the doctor or nurse and patient is still part of the practice. How can you communicate with the medical provider? You cannot talk to them directly. You must pass communication through the Village Medical system of telephone operators or internet online website. No actual communication with your medical provider occurs. You can ask for a telephone call back from the provider but with the request going through Village Medical it takes two or three days for the callback to occur.

I want to communicate directly to my local doctor’s office in a timely manner. Village Medical is a huge barrier to communication! From a patient perspective Village Medical is not a value added service.

My provider Dr. Joseph Prows is great. VM is a definite step down from AFM:
- Phone contact, I think I actually reached someone in the same state the last time I tried calling my local clinic, previously I have had to wait in “hold purgatory” in order to talk with someone in Nashville from my location in Colorado.
-Live Chat, my app has said it is “coming soon” for the last year. It will likely be about as helpful as any of the numerous AI chat platforms encountered on a regular basis and will offer numerous close but incorrect options unless you stumble upon the correct phrasing according to the off-shore chatbot programmer.
- maybe records transfer has improved but it was quite problematic last year.
