Every Rep I Know Hates This App

Literally every rep I know hates RxVantage. Seriously, everyone loathes it. I never had issues booking lunches until accounts went to this app. Now they are are booked 100% and some I haven’t had a lunch with for years. I make a point to tell every account I know to quit using it. It has made mine and many other reps life more difficult. If we can’t see accounts we can’t drive business. Hopefully ones company will pay the up charge fee to give a slight increased chance of grabbing a lunch. All of the appointments are taken in 2 minutes first of the month. I feel sorry for new reps because they have to wait 1 year (at the soonest) to get into an office. There is a slight chance they might happen to have RxVantage open the moment a cancellation occurs and get in there sooner.

What a hindrance to business

25 years as a pharmaceutical rep. I have never experienced the frustrations I have since being required to use RxVantage. Literally no lunches available in many cases and when they do come available they are grabbed up so quickly. If I made the decision to just sit in my car all day waiting for lunch opportunities to come available, it would be a full time job in itself. Terrible business model…

Having an app that’s 100% behind a paywall is a bad move

I have never seen an app that will not allow you to use it AT ALL unless you pay for it. Normal developers allow you to use basic features and keep select features behind the paywall. They don’t brick the entire app. The fact that this app expects me to pay premium to use their app when in the span of 2 years they’ve managed to have only ONE oncology practice in my region sign up under them is laughable. No, I will not be paying a premium in order to use your app. If you’re going to make it this inconvenient to use your interface I will simply use Vendormate to Reptrax. You’ve lost a user.

Poor business model.

I would need to pay a very high premium to have access to one office in my multiple state territory. If you don’t pay the premium you can’t use RxVantage. AT ALL! You can not connect with offices here so the service is pretty worthless. The other companies that offer similar services are so much more user-friendly and reasonably priced. It’s no wonder so few choose this service. I’ve informed on my customers of the difficulty to even confirm a lunch. I would definitely not recommend the service at all! My one customer that does have this app has confirmed that they do the legwork for appointments outside of RxVantage because others have voiced the same concern. RxV doesn’t earn the one star given.

This app is awful

RxVantage will not open from the email link, instead a web browser opens requiring login. When trying to capture a cancellation this wastes valuable time and I’m never able to get the lunch opportunity.

RxVantage does not allow favorite settings to save on my view options. For example, I want to only view my favorite offices but every time I login or leave accounts screen to go to calendar view, it has all offices showing again. Or the calendar view or anything really it doesn’t save my settings.

It distorts sound when I open RxVantage if I have absolutely anything playing with sound through my phone. For example, using Apple Music or a podcast and I open RxVantage it distorts the sound.

I have had a request to join my coworker’s team that I’ve hit accept on several times and it says I joined there team yet the option is still sitting in my pending.

There’s several offices that don’t use RX showing and no way to remove a single account my from view.

When I get an email alert about a canceled lunch, the alert never shows on RxVantage . Yes, I have the alert settings on with RxVantage and my phone.

This is the worst app I've encountered so far. It forces provider offices to use it for booking services, yet there are no available appointments, and the fee is excessively high.

Junk!

Bigger companies are buying the lunch appointments. No way every lunch in every account is booked within 30 seconds! This is the biggest scam.

Unethical to charge $1500 for membership and mediocre app

RxVantage adds zero value to my job. My job was more satisfying before I had to pay $1500 to find out ZERO appointments are available for my target specialty.

Seriously?

I use RxVantage on the dreaded first of every month. It is consistently slow, cumbersome and I walk away with one thought by 7:01am- pure piracy. If I could give it less than 1, it would be a no brainer.

Horrible

Rxadvantage is anything but! Ever since my offices signed up to use, I never get appointments. Not user friendly, all the appts drop the same day and time so it’s like trying to get front row concert tix. It’s ridiculous. I wish they would go under and offices would book their own appts again.

If I Could Give Less Stars, I would

I typically don’t do bad reviews, I just move on. However, it needs to be said that the only thing the company is trying to do with RxVantage is make things more difficult for everyone.

I cover the entire eastern US, this means I have to add each city in individually. There’s no way to add all or even add full states at a time.

Most individuals dont cover this large of a geography. However, most reps I know cover entire states, or at least half the state. Adding each individual city is wild.

Furthermore, you can only do this on the phone. The website never loads.

Challenging

RxVantage freezes and does not work even when you go to reserve at 650am. I can’t recommend this to offices anymore because if it has so many glitches on our end it must have a ton on a clinics end. Month after month it’s frozen. The customer service is inaccessible. I used to encourage clinics to get this not anymore.

Maybe the worst company in existence

Being gauged for zero benefit never feels good. Now that the free version is gone and we are forced to pay for this scam it’s getting even worse. When appointments are unbookable or gone in under one minute there is zero benefit to this service. I truly wish offices and pharma would shun them and totally walk away from this their unethical and terrible “service”. I wish this company nothing but demise!

Terrible

RxVantage now has a feature for the offices to pick their “favorite” reps and send opportunity alerts to them before becoming available for the other paying subscribers. this app has not yet realized that the offices are using the system for free, and the reps are paying a lot of money for the service. They see the offices as their customers, not the reps! Please understand that your customers are the ones that pay for the service and make it more fair and user friendly for the paying user.

A bot?

When you click on an lunch that becomes available, it’s already gone, most of the time. It’s a know issue that companies can use a bot to recognize and click on anything quicker than a human can. And sadly, with so little opportunity during this pandemic, companies are paying big bucks and getting nothing in return. Whoever developed RxVantage is obviously smart and one assumes, wealthy now😃

I use it quite a bit I wish more offices would sign up.

A suggestion is to have a way to look at all of the booked appointments in one place instead of looking at every month.

Oncology rep

I really like the new version.. Makes things a lot easier when it comes to booking and confirming appts with offices. The messaging feature is convenient too. Tons of offices use it. I’m able to screen share with my iPad. The virtual meetings are better than other virtual meeting apps. I find it really easy to navigate and they’re always coming out with new features to make things easier (especially now with Covid).
