The SVCE website says that SVCEGridShift is compatible with EV9s. I go to sign up in SVCEGridShift and it says that the EV9 is not compatible. Really frustrating.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t and then every certain amount of time your authorization expires and you don’t know until you plugged your car in last night, it popped up saying “charging started at 9pm” or whatever and then when you have a long drive in the morning you get in your car and it’s still at 19-friggen-percent! That’s genius! (No, not really)
Even though it says VW is compatible I go through the entire sign up process to find out that the ID4 is not. Grrr.
Not only do I appreciate SVCEGridShift controlling the optimal time to charge my Tesla, the 1:1 onboarding by ev.energy, the creator of SVCEGridShift was INCREDIBLY informative. If you own an EV, SVCEGridShift is a must.
