Versatile Fun for All

I’ve never had this much fun on an app with my friends, this game gets brought up at every party and gathering I’ve been at since I downloaded it a few weeks ago.
The well curated variety of topics means no one gets left out and you get to learn more about anyone from your BFF to a complete stranger. Rounds don’t feel like they drag and often inspire light hearted debates which can be as mature (or immature) as you want haha. An incredibly versatile game, I’ve shared this with almost everyone I know and it’s been a hit.

Things I Love:
- gorgeous, cohesive, and clean design
- love that games don’t pause when anyone switches between apps
- can play in the same room or virtually
- minimal lag!!!!

Things I’d Like to See:
- star “difficulty” rating, certain ranges like “Original->Derivative” may be more for adults rather than younger folk
- clearer pack titles, love “Lickable” but the ranges had me a little confused
- different sounds for each available reaction
- stats on who gives the best clues, who gives the worst

You could add more

This game is super fun and easy to play with your friends! I’m not gonna come out and say they can’t do anything better but it is definitely one of the more fun games I own only a few thing they would add/get rid of the first being to get rid of all of the game modes needing to be purchased it’s not even like you can create your own game modes either another thing you could add is live online games this would make the game more fun and enjoyable even if you aren’t able to play with friends. You also should take into consideration that if you buy some of the packs you still are spending a lot of money overall I like the game and it’s good but there are definitely things that the developers could add

Excellent (with one suggestion)

I love this game because it allows you to kill time while still interacting with friends and family. For the developers, I think it’d be fun to have an alternate mode where instead of having one guess that everyone agrees to, we each make our own guess and the game averages them out. Sometimes I see people disengage because one person takes charge and is always the one moving the needle. Having an average let’s everyone always have a vote, while still forcing us to convince others to our side.

Phenomenal Game

Played this with my family over Zoom and we had a blast, then my wife and I started playing it just the two of us and played hours without getting bored. This is great idea for a game, Wavelength is well designed, and I really appreciate that there are no ads (I wouldn’t have downloaded it if there were).

You can try for free, so I’d recommend that anyone give it a chance. The only thing you buy is more scales to play the game with.

Amazing Adaptation

I’ve been a long-time fan of the board game version. Wavelength brings all of the joy of the original game and makes it even easier to play than passing around the wheel. New spectrums lead to new and exciting conversations. Nothing feels quite as good as giving a clue and having your teammates figure out exactly where it lands on the spectrum. You will get a sufficient taste of the game before needing to buy extra packs, so try it out!

App play better than the physical game!

I love the physical game but it can be slow waiting for someone to think of clues. So I really love how much more quickly you can move through game play. We’ve played it with a variety of ages(8-80) and paired up on devices. Fun to have something the whole family can enjoy.

Should have a non cooperative mode

Me and my family have found this to be much more fun with just two players. I think it would be much better if with multiple players everyone got their own guess and scored their own points. To motivate the players to give good clues they could get points for correct guesses on their clues maybe an average of all the guesses or the highest scoring guess. My family would certainly have more fun this way I think it would be a great addition as a secondary way of playing.

Skipped one of my questions

So I was playing this app with some of my friends and my family and I put a really good question that I thought no one would guess and it skipped my question and I was super excited for them to try and get it and it just skipped my question and so obviously I got really mad because I wanted them to see that question or stars I might not play it again because I am really mad about that

Read this

So I don’t think it’s terrible but soon after getting Wavelength I had to delete it for a few reasons, things the game needs to work on. There should be an online mode where you join a game with random people so that you don’t always have to be with friends to play. And also there should be AT LEAST 2 packs to start with before you have to buy any. And while I’m talking about buying packs, it’s a bit too much. Plz fix this and then I will recommend it to other ppl and my friends.

Very good game

This was a very good game me and my fiancé enjoyed it very much it was a little hard for me to understand it in the beginning probably because I was too high ha ha ha but overall a good game and I recommend it for all the family especially if you’re going to smoke weed you can make it funny by putting in funny clues it’s a pretty cool game did I mention smoking weed

Great boardgame and app game for remote play

Really fun boardgame. I miiiight like Wavelength better than the physical game because it engages everyone all the time but the physical game is a big toy that is fun to have at parties. Glad to see it’s finally out of Beta! Tons of stuff to do for free in this version and lots of extra packs to add variety.

From office to family

My company started playing this game during our virtual happy hours. I loved it so much I turned my whole family onto it and now my wife and I play instead of Netflixing. 10/10 would recommend.

Really fun and easy to learn

This is the first review I’ve ever written for an app but I found the game to be so fun and really great for a group of colleagues, which suggests it’d be even better with a group of friends. Will definitely be recommending to friends going forward.

Pass and Play

I love this game, but I think you could easily make it pass and play with one device. That way you could play anytime, anywhere without need for an internet connection.

Expansion question?!

AMAZING. A true work of art.

Quick question though, for the expansion packs, does everyone playing have to have the expansion, or just one person for it to work?

Wavelength review

Very fun game and wish I could play it a lot but you can only play it when your with people which is the down side and when you’re hanging out with friends you are not on your phone that much. 4/5

Fantastic!

I love the physical version of this game and they’ve done a beautiful job of porting it over to Wavelength . Such a great party game!! Super simple, but engages everybody and makes for great moments/laughs. Also works easily over zoom.

Game is fun, pro,pt for subscription is often and never ending

The game itself once started is decent. Unfortunately, the “get updated! 👀 we’ll send infrequent notifications when we have new contnent!” Ppompt happens *often*. One game I had to dismiss it seven times before I could start playing.

Love this!!!

Tons of fun for groups of people. The design of this game’s interface is so pleasing I can hardly stand it. We bought the full pack and they are full of so many great prompts.

Fantastic

I loved the board game version, but it never got played. We play Wavelength version as a family every night. Clever and lots of opportunities to be funny. Awesome art, fun emojis. Perfect.

Brought my family together on thanksgiving

My family and I were remote from each other for thanksgiving this year. This game left us laughing so hard our faces hurt and helped us spend quality time together. Thank you this app team

Love it, but …

We love this game but wish there were a single person mode. My sister and I play while on plane and car rides and it doesn’t make sense for us to have to use 2 devices. Would love to be able to just pass the phone back and forth since we are sitting right next to each other. And she refuses to download apps.

Actually so fun

A lot of these “party games” are boring and just cash grabs to get you to buy party packs. Wavelength is actually really fun and well made. UI is fun and inviting. Very simple but well done. Game is really funny to play with friends

Definitely fun, interesting as well

It’s a great game to play with people, it’s simple and easy as well as engaging and interesting. I love the fact that I haven’t seen a single ad on here after a week of playing. The only reason I took off a star is because the other player(s) can’t hear the sound effects of the emotes you use after a round.
I can hear them but my friend can’t, and vice versa. With this in mind and updated this game is definitely 5 stars!!

ANAZING!!!

This game is perfect for parties, one on ones, etc. might as well download it and then once u get obsessed like me, purchase the additional packs. You don’t need to purchase anything for it to be worth a download
