During a four-hour period while using the Vcheck24 application, I received five separate notifications requiring me to complete a test. I was originally informed that the testing schedule would be randomly generated throughout the day. However, receiving five notifications in such a short span of time does not feel random or reasonable. Instead, it creates what appears to be an unfair expectation that makes compliance extremely difficult, especially given the repeated technical issues associated with the application itself.
The primary concern is not simply the frequency of the notifications, but the reality that the app has consistently failed to function properly. On numerous occasions, the application has produced errors, delayed loading times, connection problems, and failures while attempting to complete a test. In some instances, it has taken between eight and ten minutes just to successfully connect the device and process a single test. These delays make immediate compliance unrealistic, particularly when a person may be driving, working, supervising children, shopping, attending appointments, or otherwise engaged in normal daily responsibilities.
The excessive number of notifications within such a limited timeframe creates unnecessary stress and pressure. Rather than encouraging compliance, it creates circumstances where failure becomes far more likely due to technical limitations outside of the user’s control. A system intended to monitor compliance should also provide a reasonable and functional opportunity for individuals to comply successfully.
Additionally, repeated notifications in such close succession contradict the understanding that testing would occur at unpredictable but fair intervals throughout the day. Five notifications in four hours feels excessive and punitive rather than random. When combined with an application that has demonstrated ongoing reliability issues, it raises legitimate concerns regarding fairness, functionality, and whether the system is operating in a way that sets individuals up for failure instead of success.
I respectfully request that these concerns be taken seriously and that consideration be given to both the technical failures of the application and the unreasonable testing frequency experienced during this period.
