Please make libraries local - requires internet always

Over Prime, users, and other great features, why wasn’t local song storage and services built out?

Charts requires a constant internet connection, and since it’s free and doesn’t arguably even need cloud storage, I can’t possibly understand why. Please provide a solution soon.

Can’t quickly access my song library, especially with poor internet. This is not acceptable.

Bad Apple pencil support and hangs on service change.

You can’t write with the apple pencil, because of the auto smoothing and there is no palm rejection. The text box auto indents the first line. When switching services Charts hangs. It is quicker to force quit Charts , reopen and select the service you want.

The UX needs some improvements, I suspect it was designed by developers not UX designers. The key drop down doesn’t indicate which key was the original. There is no mode that hides the menus.

Time saver!

I love music stand so much. We have been printing music and putting everything in folders. No more. One thing I would love to have it the ability to immediately access the full sheet music without having to go into another platform, download the pdf, then uploading it here.

Great App! Almost perfect

I love Charts. So easy!! The only thing I wish there was is a favorites or saved songs section. To be able to pull songs that we already have saved and then add them to a Setlist instead of having to research for past songs and remarking them up with our notes would be great.

Awesome & Easy App. (Needs Better Apple Pencil Support)

We use the Tithely/Elvanto suite and they recently discontinued their worship app. Now that OnSong is charging, it wasn’t worth it for me since I only play occasionally. So I went looking for a chord sheet app that would work with Song Select. I tried this one and it was so easy and intuitive to use. Worked out great to add the songs in for this week both from Song Select, and a PDF file for a song that‘s not on Song Select.

The only critique I have is that the annotations with Apple Pencil don’t work so easy. It’s one stroke, and then I have to take the pencil off the screen and then do another stroke. Other than that, it works great.

Beats OnSong

We were happy users of Worship Inc but worried that since we couldn’t get in touch with their support, one day the server would die and leave us scrambling back to paper. OnSong has great features, but the new version was flaky. Support was responsive, but unable to solve our issues. Worship Tools has been rock solid in all platforms. We have a Mac Mini for the main sanctuary and Windows for fellowship hall and problems have been minimal. I kinda wish lyric changes in chordpro editing would cascade to Presenter, but that is a minor price for stability.

Great Alternative to PC music stand

Charts is great so far. It does everything we need it to do and seems to work seamlessly for the team. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for 2 small reasons. 1- it is a little jumpy switching between songs and 2- it doesn’t show the upcoming song. Small details that really don’t hurt it at all it’s just my preferences coming out. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an app that works with an entire team without having to pay for a subscription!

Capo issue corrected, have login issue

The Capo issue appears to be resolved, but a minor related issue remains: no option to select the key of G#/Ab for a song. Not common but, it does happen.

Had an individual sign up for Worship Extreme using Facebook credentials, but was unable to login to Music Stand app using the same credentials. We tried multiple times to no avail. (Sent a new invitation to the individual who then created a new account using a personal email account. This account worked on the mobile app.)

Elegant App, but Apple Pencil Integration Needs Work

First off, I LOVE that Charts is so easy and simple to work with! It does what it needs to do and does it well! The only thing that’s holding me back is the Apple Pencil integration with notations.

Suggestion… add the ability to disable touch input when an Apple Pencil is detected (removes palm rest unintended input)

Bug… for both Pencil input and touch input, when writing anything that’s close to something else, Charts thinks I’m trying to select what I just wrote. As an example, if I write the number 12, it will draw a 1 but then it will drag the 1 around rather than drawing the 2.

If those two items can be fixed, you will have a full-time (and potentially a PAYING) user!

Great for Existing Songs but the Create New Doesn’t Seem to Save.

I love this app for the way we can find and play most of the songs we like to play in our worship service. I also love that in existing songs that you can find in the song library it’s possible to change the key that it’s in. I gave a 4 star instead of a 5 star because there was a song I wanted to play through this app that wasn’t listed in the song library.

So I thought I would try the Create New option. The tutorial made sense and I was able to type in the format of the song I wanted, and I hit save and it closed the chord editor and it was on the first screen where it has the song name and artist name. I hit save from there and nothing seemed to happen, no acknowledgement message or change of screen. So I tried searching for it in the song library, but it didn’t show up. Which makes me think that it didn’t save the song I entered, “Suelto.”

If the developers would please look into this I would greatly appreciate it!

It would be perfect if it had this feature

Tap to turn the page instead of swipe. Maybe this feature could be toggled on as “performance mode” or something, but unless I’m really slow and deliberate with my swipe, the page goes into edit mode instead of turning.

Love it

Charts makes playing and leading worship a lot easier. It would make it even more convenient if there was a feature to tap a corner to turn the page instead of swiping. I lead on an acoustic guitar and sometimes it’s hard to swipe to turn the page. A corner tap would be a lot easier!

Irreplaceable for SongSelect users

This FREE WORSHIP software integrates with CCLI SongSelect smoothly without stressing over the ‘how to’ It just works! And works great! We quite often change key to suit whoever is singing and the update in Charts is on the fly and so fluid you can literally see the update in real-time, wow! Charts is one of 3 main apps by WORSHIP TOOLS - all of which are offered FREE and they coordinate with each other to provide a smooth delivery of our Worship services. When you set a date and select a song, it populates in the Presentor app for on-screen display during Worship. The Planning app allows you to setup users for access and add songs to your library as well as schedule people to serve in different capacities - such as usher etc. Overall we’ve been blown away at what an upgrade this software package has been - so much I had to write this review.

Awesome app

This is an amazing app! It helps in many ways.. mostly it helps our praise team stay up to day on practice, participating and song set list with all you need. I would recommend this to any band and church praise teams. Love love love it!🥁🥁🥁

FANTASTIC!!!!

Charts is totally worth it. 👌🏻

It needs some fixes such treating pages like actual PDF files instead of zooming inside the page frame. Wish we could zoom like we do with PDF pages with other apps where we are actually enlarging the page.

Works nice

Not always perfect but allows me to not only do the planner and presenter in about 15 minutes, but also give me quick chord sheets that I can change the key when our piano decides to change without warning.

Great but lacking in versatility

I find myself using Charts as a quick reference but not a go to set list on stage. The pinch zoom is very buggy and doesn’t work. Loading songs is laggy and swiping to the next song isn’t seamless. This is a great concept but I use Charts to port the songs to set list maker.

Genius development for this app

Genius development for Charts. This is definitely a game changer for me as a worship leader; Charts is very intuitive and super user-friendly. It connects automatically with CCLI Song Select where it’s super easy to download songs into your library and build sets and change musical keys as well as upload your own PDF this app into the library. 5 stars and beyond, genius development team on this 🔥

Exactly what I was looking for!!

I’m the Music Director of my church and I had been looking for a data base for my Worship Team. In Charts, I have the chords, lyrics, videos/audio reference in one place! Can instantly change Keys in a song if need be and saves us a ton of time in rehearsals.

During a Sunday service, one of the Elders asks us to sing a song that we knew but was not planned for that day. The moment I added the song true Charts , the lyrics of the song were already available in “Presenter” to present in the screen. In the tablet of the Bass player the song quickly appeared in Charts with the key we play it.

In summary, it is a great investment! The cloud-based app is just incredible and easy to use! Highly recommended!

A Game Changer

Our band is always in sync and Charts has made a world of difference in how we sound. No more fumbling around for music sheets or having to worry about other members devices.
