I don’t know if yeedi has been updated, but I linked my new 650 in about a minute. yeedi literally walks you through each step, to include if you are having problems. this app didn’t show up in my WiFi connections at first, so yeedi showed me how to fix it. All I did was turn WiFi off then on via the switch in settings on my iPhone, then this app showed up.

When yeedi is downloaded it does not have the features shown here. It only has an auto on which turns it on and starts the cleaning cycle, cleaning record which is supposed to show the path the robot took but only show up if it completes the full cleaning cycle, and a page for messages. It does not have spot, edge, it does not have any option to schedule. There needs to be more information. Does it require several mapping sessions before these features become available? I don’t know but if I don’t figure it out soon it’s going to be returned for a refund.

After attempting to register for about 48 hours it finally did it. I was about to return it before I figured I’d try one more time, and luckily it worked! Hopefully it doesn’t log me out like some of the other, without yeedi it’s pretty much a basic robot vacuum. 1st world problems 🤣 but for the price to me it seems yeedi should be the easiest thing to fix. Just my opinion! Great little vacuum, love the mop feature.

For all the people stating they had trouble with yeedi , you need to turn the WiFi off on your phone first in order to register and yeedi to come on. Once your on it will prompt you to connect to WiFi and so on so forth. This is my first robot vacuum and I have to say I’m pretty impressed. I have two huskies and I use this as a reinforcement to picking up all the endless fur. Worth the money.

A lot of people seem to be having issues getting yeedi to work, etc. If you follow the “Before You Start” instructions on page 15 of the manual, you’ll have no issues. App installed in minutes and was able to register an connect in less than 5. Easy to use app. Excited for my first robotic vacuum...hopefully the cats are excited as I am, lol!

The vacuum itself is pretty wonderful. It’s not the smartest object but none of them seem to be. But yeedi is horrible. You can’t schedule cleaning times or at least I haven’t figured out how. I can’t have it just do just the perimeter run and it could use a little help in that area. The biggest problem I have is the battery dies way too fast, it’s only been lasting 38-40 min after charging overnight? So I have to run it twice after it charges for 2 hours. It says the battery is supposed to last 60 min?

The application is fairly good. The main aspect that needs fixing is the mapping feature. You should be able to separate areas into different rooms manually. I have tried multiple mapping on an open floor apartment and still haven’t managed to have every room as a separated room. At best the bedrooms are set separated but everything else is mapped as one room.

I don’t know if these are old reviews or what and that’s why it has such a bad rating, but it’s been working great for me. When I first set everything up I turned the 5GHz off so it would only pick up the 2.4GHz. A lot of WiFi sync products only work on 2.4 like lights and ect. It also explains it in the setup instructions.

Emailed customer service and all they did was pull tips from reviews to send back and try. We have the Google mesh wifi system so it toggles between 2.4 - 5 ghz. this app connected to yeedi for 2 weeks then there was an update and now it longer connects. Tried using the hotspot method, putting it further from the router, putting it closer to the router, everything to get it to connect.

Without app notifications and control functions, it’s just similar to a first generation Roomba with a vac station. Not worth the cost!

The vac works great. yeedi needs work. I want to do something that seems pretty simple to implement. Map the entire first floor of my home, then allow me to break that map into separate zones. Then I want to map my second floor and do the same. Two full maps, broken up into zones. Let me choose the zones I’d like to vacuum. Again, the vac works great.

Like others, I’m unable to register, making it impossible to use many features. And yes, I followed the very minimal instructions in the manual. The ability to control via wifi was one reason I chose this vacuum over others so without wifi it’s worthless to me. this app seriously needs to overhaul yeedi before claiming their products are wifi. So, yeedi is worse than bad, and and what makes it worst of all is that it makes the vacuum worthless. Save yourself the trouble and get a new robovac now.

Not sure why other reviews are so negative. App is easy to use. Took less than 2 minutes for entire setup without any guesswork. Missing 5th star because yeedi does have a mapping section, but the vaccums don’t actually map. Maybe this is a feature update to be introduced in the future. That’d be cool.

yeedi is “no frills” which is fine with me, but when scheduling cleaning you can’t select am or pm... so I was awoken at 3:00am by the vacuum doing it’s thing. Developers, can you add that in?!

I also can not connect to the wifi. I followed all the steps including turning off my cellular data and I still was not able to. Reading other reviews having the same issue, proves this is a piece of crap. Worthless is right. I followed page 15, I have it on English, all I get is Data submission error. I also see the this app giving its own wifi signal which allows you to connect but you still end up with a data submission error

The most updated version of yeedi is awful. It makes yeedi completely useless. It always says the data has timed out or that the robot is offline even though it is running. yeedi is the frustrating part about the user experience honestly. The robot isn’t super smart but it gets the job done well enough but yeedi needs improved big time!

Opened app, registered with email and new password after reading and accepting policies, and it was connected in a few minutes. Synced with Alexa app and now works on voice command. Love it!

Trying to register account and can’t even submit email and password. I’ve tried with cellular off and 2g wifi. I’ve also tried with wifi off. Nothing works! I’m so annoyed right now. And their customer service is a joke. For something so expensive they should have a phone number to call. I can’t use the robot without yeedi so do I just return it?

I opened my new this app today and love it. Super easy to set up to WiFi. No problem registering on yeedi . Did a great job with the first vacuum, I'll come back in 6 months and report again.

Language issues previous reviewers have mentioned seem to be fixed - no trouble connecting and using the device! Love that my vacuum is app controlled

Not sure why so many people have trouble connecting robot to phones/WiFi networks. Follow the directions in detail!

You know there’s an issue with an application if you can’t even use it! I’ve tried several times to register and I keep getting an error that is Chinese so I can’t even read what I am doing incorrectly. I am pretty sure I am following standard password guidelines as well. This is super annoying!

I have tried for 2 days to download and get yeedi working. Unfortunately nothing is working and yeedi is useless !!!! this app you need to fix this problem!!! If you want to sell more robot vacuums!!!! There are to many to choose from nowadays.

Just select English version and works like a charm.

App gets a data submission error as soon as you open it. Can’t get past the first on boarding screen. Website offers no way to contact the company.

When yeedi opens, I click “next” on the first page and when I try to hit “next” on the next page I get data error messages. So annoying!!!!!

App doesn’t work. Can’t control robot bc there isn’t A remote control. Will return item just bc there is no support to fix issue. Help button only says “ unable to connect to secure connection.

I keep receiving a data submission error so I can’t even get past the privacy acknowledgment. I’m bummed that I’ll probably have to return this product.

Can’t log in to use, so it’s worthless. Too bad because the vacuum is great, but I need to adjust the settings from yeedi . So this will be a return 😡

BUT unfortunately if you to be able to use the robot....this app APP DOES NOT WORK!!!
How frustrating! The time and money spent on setting it up and troubleshooting!!! Now I have to return it!!!!
