My EHTERAZ is green how ever result shows as positive since 787 days. it is mistake updating. i have a ticket as well SD22125873 but still it has not been changed. Ehteraz is mandatory for you to move anywhere in Qatar: hotels supermarkets malls anywhere. So if it stops working the technical help at 109 should be fast and efficient. Which is not the case at all. It has been 24 hours that i am fighting with the app and it is resetting every time. The technical team asked me to try everything you can imagine including removing app restarting and reinstalling (8 times!!!). They even told me to wait 3 hours before reinstalling... really? What if i need to move?! Oh and the calls on 109 consumed my credits: yeah it’s not free at all. Finally they asked me to put a friend’s number instead of mine in the “settings” to get the OTP (one time password for activation) on his mobile. It worked until today... now it stopped again. What am i supposed to do? Ask my friends every time??? What if i was coming back to my hotel at midnight? Who should i call? Frankly this is the most annoying thing happening. The technical team should understand that this is no joke! This is an EMERGENCY issue.

This app serves a good purpose, however it’s really poorly executed. I traveled and came back from a green list country on the 14th. I did a PCR test on the 15 morning and got my result 15th afternoon. Since I got my negative result the app turned yellow. I called them they said it should be resolved within a couple of hours and I followed the steps they gave me. I went to sleep and the next day it was still yellow. I called them and the customer service (useless) keeps saying it should be resolved shortly. I’m on day 5 of being yellow even though I have negative result (even my ehteraz says ‘negative since 5 days’) and I’ve called probably 3 times per day and nothing changes. They say someone is gonna call me within 5 minutes and no one calls. This isn’t happening only for me, I know a lot of people that are having the same issue. I don’t understand how they can’t have an answer or a way to fix such a simple issue. Furthermore before I traveled I called to get my golden circle as I’m vaccinated outside and to this day I still don’t have it. They say it should take a few days but I got my second dose in may… at least with green I can go out, with yellow I’m stuck at home for an unknown endless amount of time. Very disappointed 😔

The app for some reason demands that the iPhone have the latest iOS version which is not available on iPhone 6. Why should I be rejected entry to even the grocery store just because I have an older phone that doesn’t download this demanding app. It apparently is the LAW to download this app or you will be fined, and yet the sheer inconvenience that comes with this app makes it that much harder to live here during the pandemic. On top of that, the app took data that it wasn’t supposed to from phones, compromising privacy unnecessarily, and that was supposedly “fixed” but it was not even addressed in the update history. Privacy is a basic human right, and I should not sacrifice my privacy for the sake of an app that could operate just as well without sucking information from my phone.
