this app is mandatory for you to move anywhere in Qatar: hotels supermarkets malls anywhere. So if it stops working the technical help at 109 should be fast and efficient. Which is not the case at all. It has been 24 hours that i am fighting with EHTERAZ and it is resetting every time. The technical team asked me to try everything you can imagine including removing app restarting and reinstalling (8 times!!!). They even told me to wait 3 hours before reinstalling... really? What if i need to move?! Oh and the calls on 109 consumed my credits: yeah it’s not free at all. Finally they asked me to put a friend’s number instead of mine in the “settings” to get the OTP (one time password for activation) on his mobile. It worked until today... now it stopped again. What am i supposed to do? Ask my friends every time??? What if i was coming back to my hotel at midnight? Who should i call? Frankly this is the most annoying thing happening. The technical team should understand that this is no joke! This is an EMERGENCY issue.

EHTERAZ serves a good purpose, however it’s really poorly executed.

I traveled and came back from a green list country on the 14th. I did a PCR test on the 15 morning and got my result 15th afternoon.

Since I got my negative result EHTERAZ turned yellow. I called them they said it should be resolved within a couple of hours and I followed the steps they gave me. I went to sleep and the next day it was still yellow. I called them and the customer service (useless) keeps saying it should be resolved shortly.

I’m on day 5 of being yellow even though I have negative result (even my this app says ‘negative since 5 days’) and I’ve called probably 3 times per day and nothing changes. They say someone is gonna call me within 5 minutes and no one calls.

This isn’t happening only for me, I know a lot of people that are having the same issue. I don’t understand how they can’t have an answer or a way to fix such a simple issue.

Furthermore before I traveled I called to get my golden circle as I’m vaccinated outside and to this day I still don’t have it. They say it should take a few days but I got my second dose in may… at least with green I can go out, with yellow I’m stuck at home for an unknown endless amount of time.

Very disappointed 😔

EHTERAZ for some reason demands that the iPhone have the latest iOS version which is not available on iPhone 6. Why should I be rejected entry to even the grocery store just because I have an older phone that doesn’t download this demanding app. It apparently is the LAW to download EHTERAZ or you will be fined, and yet the sheer inconvenience that comes with EHTERAZ makes it that much harder to live here during the pandemic. On top of that, EHTERAZ took data that it wasn’t supposed to from phones, compromising privacy unnecessarily, and that was supposedly “fixed” but it was not even addressed in the update history. Privacy is a basic human right, and I should not sacrifice my privacy for the sake of an app that could operate just as well without sucking information from my phone.

EHTERAZ has been out for several months now and STILL has persistent issues: crashes incessantly, doesn’t work and requires reinstallation and offloading which still won’t resolve the issue, and there is no proper ticketing system to notify you and others, officially, that it isn’t working.

The last point is imperative as EHTERAZ dictates your freedom and ability to go to work and everywhere else. If a poorly optimized and severely faulty app won’t let you into work, it needs to have some form of official notification you can give your work instead of a helpline employee just saying ‘try again’.

EHTERAZ is an embarrassment and Qatar deserves better.

I downloaded EHTERAZ yesterday, and it was working fine after registration.
I wanted to open EHTERAZ now, but it switches off after pressing on the icon start.

I’m in Qatar for transit and trying to register myself but error message keeps coming up “invalid data entered” and I cannot register. Airport staff, tram staff, hotel staff all tried to help me for 2 days but still “invalid data entered”, and keep failing.
Hotline for technical support also doesn’t work as we, short term visitors, do not have local mobile number and cannot call 109 number (tried many times).
And I had to explain to the staff, at the hotel, at the tram, at the shopping center entrance as I don’t have EHTERAZ activated, and I was almost rejected to take a tram!! Need proper technical support.

Worst app ever. My mother hasn’t been able to go to the hospital or supermarket ever since we had to use EHTERAZ . We complained for 4 months and still nothing has happened. They keep telling us they will call back within 48 hours and they never do. They created EHTERAZ within a few days but they can’t fix it for months???its impossible that they have all this technology without being able to create another app that actually works. If EHTERAZ doesn’t work, don’t enforce it on the people and make it mandatory. Simple as that.

EHTERAZ is great but only we need to improve one thing, when we receive a notification that there is an Infected person near, there should be something to let him know that everyone around him can identify him, that will make him leave the area.

This application does not work well when someone wants to activate the application with the international SIM if he wants to visit Qatar, which contributed to the disruption of many people at the airports, and their flights were canceled because they were unable to complete the activation due to technical problems in the application, which is clearly a problem with technical support, and the lack of a clear plan to deal with the problem of visitors when they encounter this problem and are stuck at the airport, there are no measures to facilitate their movement in this case.

You sit here talking about how you will download EHTERAZ when it’s better or restricts your privacy less. You know it’s the law to download this, it’s not a terrible app even though the UI is a little dated. And I mean come on, what scandalous things do you think the government of a relatively small Arab country is going to do with your information?

EHTERAZ doesn’t work. I received my negative PCR (which they received because it shows up on EHTERAZ ) but my status is still yellow and I am forced to quarantine. What’s the point of making everyone do this if it doesn’t work? I’ve called the call center several times over several days, received a ticket for assistance and nobody calls me back. I have no idea when/if it will ever change and nobody is able to advise me. What if there’s an emergency and I need to go to the hospital? Or leave the country? This is insane.

Last one week using this apps, but today evening stop apps then showing ‘Error please try again’ actually I’m here in Quarantine with out apps I can’t go outside also, so I want immediately close this issues as soon as possible, I’m waiting positive responses ,Thanks Shihab

This is by far the worst app that I have ever seen. For 3 constant days I’ve been deleting and downloading EHTERAZ putting my information for more than 50 time for nothing to happen afterwards I tried calling the number for support and never worked they kept on saying that an agent will call me within 2 hours. Kept on trying for three days and nothing happened. Never recommend EHTERAZ doesn’t even work. They should improve those little details for events like the World Cup.

The system is backward and doesn’t work efficiently. It needs to be reviewed and improved to an acceptable standard level. The system has received poor ratings which is a clear indication that the system is not working properly. I have been having problems trying to install the system but kept constantly getting error. The technical team is of no help either, in my case at least.

When downloading EHTERAZ my phone crashed! I couldn’t get it back on for awhile it was like a virus or Trojan intercepted. Once back on it took a long time to upload my settings again. Also, they asked for access to my pictures, my contacts, Bluetooth & my location.

There are glitches in EHTERAZ I had to delete it as it destroyed my phone.

Let me know once EHTERAZ is better with less invasion of privacy, I’ll be happy to download again.

Everything else is fine about EHTERAZ but I don’t see my health card details in EHTERAZ after I updated it, it’s just blank in the health card field. And It also takes a lot of time get started when I open EHTERAZ . Please help me out with this.

View compatibility is not working well as the third shot doesn’t all show, only the top part of the date shows, the rest is hidden and you can’t pull the screen up.
I’m using iPhone 12 Pro Max

The purpose of the application is great. It should improve the controls on this terrible pandemic (in theory) for that 3 stars and thank you. I would also include an interactive map so one can see where on the city are the focus of COVID-19.

However, having to agree by force to terms and conditions without even knowing their full reach is not good.

Also, the application consumed my battery life in under 8 hours in spite of not using the phone as frequently as I normally do.

Call center is useless. My application was saying exceeded maximum number of logins when I try to register after offloading/deleting EHTERAZ based on their instruction as I was not receiving the recovered status. The reply from call center was ‘will raise a ticket with backend service and they cannot give me a time frame for the resolution. And the lady attended the call told me when they will fix, they will give you a call. So until this time I cannot go out.

I have a iPhone 6 Plus. My up to date operating system is currently 12.4.7. This is a big problem considering every business is requiring you to show you have the application prior to entering the establishment. The developers need to allow older operating systems if they want everyone to be in compliance. It’s not my responsibility or legally justified that I must purchase a new phone just because of this application.

For Expat’s You shouldn’t complaint about EHTERAZ where the country try to protect you and provide all the precautions measure to keep you safe!
I wish you compare what you have here and back there in your country.

I couldn’t register , and I didn’t every thing positive, even deleted EHTERAZ reset the phone and install it again and getting the same error.
Help line is useless no one answer and you got a message someone will call within tow hours which is never happened

EHTERAZ asks if we agree to the terms and condition , yet doesn't tell me WHAT exactly are the terms and conditions. They should mention the T and C for everything, how data may or may not be used, what may or may not be accessed to be fully aware , what oneself is getting into not blind submission. This needs more transparency.

when I downloaded the application previously it was working just fine after update I keep receiving this message your phone seems to be a simulator or jailbroken!!

EHTERAZ is nice idea to monitor and to ensure the patient is not hanging out and still at home

EHTERAZ has never worked properly from day one of launch. When I click it just crashes. Also I don’t under the purpose of why Bluetooth has to be on. As it is when any wireless feature is on, it drains power. Is there a purpose for it?

I put my phone number & ID number correct + expire date but still there is error can I contact anyone to get help thank you for understanding

EHTERAZ keep notifying me that “ Your App needs to be updated from the Appstore” , knowing that it has been already updated to V4.0.2

Please find out what is the issue & resolve it.

I could not register since i had addressed all the details correctly and EHTERAZ crashes by it self opening and closing i hope this issue is been sorted out I think maybe there are to many loads in the program .

It’s seem there was updates the last weeks
At this stage it seem functional
Had issue in registration and called 109 they helped to solve my problem
I got my health status and it good
I got message from EHTERAZ when my result was on and I m good

I have iPhone 6 Plus ,,and I can not download this apps ,,it say you have to be in IOS 13 and above ,,and my last update to my iPhone 6 Plus is 12.4.7
Why I can not download it?

EHTERAZ will be very useful if there is an interactive map that will show the users those area/places where people have tested positive or in quarantine, so that he/she can avoid going near those places.

i try to download it in iPhone XS Max but a message in the screen said that the phone is hacked or jail broken but the phone is fine and i didn’t download vpn or add any hack app and it’s by the last update 13.5 please fixed that problem.
