Why does T-Mobile need to collect our children’s photos, videos, audio, and texts?! Is that not disturbing to anyone else? That’s the farthest thing from protecting our children’s privacy.
Beyond that uneasiness, the battery dies within a few hours. The functions like timer, alarms and camera freeze for hours at a time.
Like others have said, it would be nice to set school mode just when they’re actually at school. And the support is horrible. No one has a clue about this product. Disappointing from such a large company. Overall so far, not happy about choosing T-Mobiles new kids watch.

T-Mobile support is clueless about both this device and SyncUPKIDS . Have been trying for DAYS to get device to FINISH pairing and setup to complete. Just spins and spins. I was originally told it takes 4 hours to setup and to just give it more time. Now it’s been two days and still same issue. Have uninstalled and reinstalled app, have reset device and nada same thing. I cannot remove the profile that is stuck to try a fresh pair. Ugh!!!

T-Mobile support and stores have no clue how to activate or add the watches to your lines. It’s been two days and the two watches I have are still displaying the same errors messages that the devices were not activated correctly. I’ve been on hold for hours with T-Mobile experts and representative and still no one knows how or when these watches will be fixed. There’s been several times I’ve been told to put in a sim card to a watch with no SIM card option. Save yourself the migraine and don’t get these watches.

I’m so dissatisfied with the watch app. I’m very tech savvy and SyncUPKIDS just doesn’t work well and there seems to be no where to get help. I’ve messages t-mobile and called customer service. The first watch set up easy with no issues. The second watch won’t set up correctly. I’ve spent about 4 hours trying to get help and set this up. I want to return everything and just be done with it.

You need SyncUPKIDS to start up the watches but if/when SyncUPKIDS isn’t letting you log in there’s no one to help. I have been on the call for an hour and thirty minutes today and no one can seem to figure out why for the last two days I get the same “can’t access this account” message . Each person says to log into T-Mobile and their app , which is all working fine. It’s the SyncUP kids app that is the issue and no one knows anything.

It is kind of useless to have an app that won’t accurately track. It shows my son still at school on LIVE tracking when he’s actually off the bus and home 30 minutes after the fact. It also repeatedly fails to send and receive messages to and from the watch.

For the life of me, why can my kid set this into airplane mode making it unusable on his own from watch ??? Trying to set up first day -and realize I can set boundaries based on school with preset times & days but cannot have this option for ‘school mode’ setting. Guess I can set myself an alarm twice daily to manually set watches into ‘school mode’ from app. Also, with kids it would be nice to set lists into reminders. For instance rather than alarm saying ‘chores’ or ‘bedtime’ it would be nice to place lists under that rather than making 5+ alarms for each item as it is multi step and hard for kids to remember.

Leave home or be at home and an hr later I get the notification he’s home, the tracking part, never on point it doesn’t even show close to where he is at and takes forever to refresh, turning off school mode
Can’t even get me started on that, 90% if the time SyncUPKIDS can’t communicate with the watch, we bought it for his safety and making sure he’s okay ans where he’s at but what’s the point of that if SyncUPKIDS doesn’t function till hrs later. The only thing I can’t

I’m so glad that the school mode can be scheduled now. HOWEVER, it does not work! The watch still allows games and other features during the scheduled school mode times. The manual school mode does work and disables games and such.

Additionally, please give parents the option to choose which functions the child can access during school mode. I really need the task reminding function to be available during the school day as he will need reminders to turn in homework, be ready for certain activities, bring things back, etc. While I think games and other things should be disabled, tasks is an important feature that should be made accessible during school mode. Thank you!

So far I am grateful to have this watch for my 10 year old. The text and calling is great.

Needs:
- I really need to be able to schedule the school mode so it turns on and off while she is in school
- I would like to see if she is playing the games and how often

App is very user friendly. I was able to figure out most parental functions intuitively. Can’t set “School Mode” on a schedule (have to manually turn on and off everyday), but I’ve read an update is coming for that. Only other thing I don’t care for is I’m the only one that can add/remove contacts. My wife is also classified as a “Guardian” but has to ask me to add anyone she wants included.

I’ve been using this since the watch was first released. It’s nice that we can finally schedule school mode. The problem is that the scheduler doesn’t use local time zone. For me, I have to schedule school mode to start 3 hours early. And then during daylight savings time, I have to change the schedule to 4 hours early. I gave it 4 stars because SyncUPKIDS works for the most part and has been improving.

I love all of the things I am able to do with SyncUPKIDS, except for one thing. School mode is great and makes me feel good knowing that my child isn’t being distracted by his watch, however, I’m usually at work by the time he makes it to school and I have to manually turn it on and off everyday. It would be great if it would be possible to set a time that it turns on and off. Or when he enters the school boundary.

Would like the watches to be able to add each others. Like the emergency list, wish we can add each other to each watch that way they can be able to communicate to each others as well and of course with having the parents to be able to put limits on them when they can communicate to each other’s.

Love it all. Love I can track my kids and message them. They stay safe out if si la media and the internet. I just wish I could a schedule school mode because I sometimes forget. Please do this update!

When the kid turns off the watch a feature for the parent to turn it on would be a great upgrade. Also if we could get alerts when they take off the watch.

My son loves it! He sends me pictures and they are nice and clear. I really lie the notifications when he has reach his step goals, and when I get notifications of low battery. He had other watches and this one is the winner. Get it! You won’t regret it! Battery last up two 2 days😍. It’s a dope watch!

I love being able to track and contact my kids. More than anything though-I love that they can’t be contacted by any strangers through their devices and they cannot be on the internet. I am so pleased with these watches and SyncUPKIDS . SyncUPKIDS runs smoothly and works well. I really have no complaints!

This is absolutely the best ever.. I’m so amazed you can see exactly where your child is, including the address. The parent can also set boundaries and if the child try’s to go out of bounds, you will be alerted immediately. There’s many more features such as games for the child, can take pictures etc.. Absolutely the best ever, Thank you from a loving grandmother.

Thank you so much for such an amazing product! The watch is perfect for kids and SyncUPKIDS is perfect for parents. I love all the features on SyncUPKIDS . My child loves the watch and I love that we can communicate with not only each other but with appointed family and friends only. Everything they need and everything they don’t, like social media at their fingertips. Thank you!!!

Terrible app I bought the watch for my son and T-Mobile store they couldn’t to log in at all bad bad

SyncUPKIDS constantly tells me that my child is in the next county over when my child is indeed not. Why does SyncUPKIDS report my child’s location to me in a location where they are not?!?!

App doesn’t do what website says it is supposed to be doing.

The watch and app has been great. The only thing missing is the ability to schedule school mode. Alarms can be scheduled but they do no good if you forget to turn off school mode. Add this ability and it would be 5 stars.

It’s very easy to keep up with where your kid is at. Love that you can add tasks for them and what time they need to start it!

My daughter just got her watch. It was on the charger last night and it's now 4pm and the watch is at 26%! Did I get a defective item? It should last a full day at least

1 star- This watch is a pain- I have to MANUALLY ENABLE school mode??? Seriously? I didn’t have time to turn on/off school mode each day- I’ll forget and he’ll get in trouble!! NEXT it doesn’t actually send any videos - even though it says it does- they always fail. Even 1 second video!!! So, I can’t send him to school in it and he can only text/talk with it. Bogus. HATE that I bought this.
