Complete GAME CHANGER!!!!

MoshiKids has completely changed our bedtime routine and our lives!!! I was extremely skeptical to even try it. Thanks to everyone who took the time to write reviews I thought ok what the heck. Our child was a non-sleeper since birth. Hours for put down and multiple times getting up each night. Everyone kept telling us oh she’ll sleep. She never did. EVER. As she hit 3 the bedtimes just got worse. Fighting, yelling, crying, for hours. I was at my wits end. I was about to purchase melatonin and I remembered seeing an ad for Moshi a while back. I wasn’t thrilled with the price but the free trial and amazing reviews sold me. First night she picked Sleepy Paws and was out in 10 minutes. 10 MINUTES!!! I sat there is disbelief. I thought ok, this is just a fluke, maybe she’s really tired today. So the next night again less than 10 minutes! Night after night she looked forward to picking out a story. We always end up with Sleepy Paws, it’s her absolute favorite. This miracle has ended bedtime fights and lulls her to sleep pretty quick. Some nights are longer than others but the complete elimination of fighting and yelling has made this worth every single penny! We’re over a month into using this and it is still working it’s magic!

Listen up, everyone!!!!

I have a 3 year old daughter named Katherine, and she has always struggled to fall asleep. I would say the last year or so, she would be tossing and turning all night long. She would just scream at 2:00am for me and Daddy to make her sleep. Me nor my husband ever really got a good nights rest. We tried everything, from sleeping apps to bedtime stories and cuddles...you name it, NOTHING worked on her. One day I was so desperate for an app to help me with her situation. Then I came across Moshi, and saw the excellent reviews. I immediately installed MoshiKids on my phone and, that night, I played the story “Lights Out, Tuco” for her. When I went to her room to get my phone, she was snoring in just 15 MINUTES!!!!!! She didn’t even wake up ONCE or scream ONCE!!! I was so delighted and so was my husband, we payed for the subscription and VOILA!!! Every story I played for her, she would never hear the end! It was a complete game changer for me and my husband Chris. I am so thankful to have finally found an app that would put my daughter to sleep; in DEEP sleep!! I can never thank you enough, Moshi crew!!!

Great app!

Thanks Moshi! I am 10 years old, and I used it about a year ago and I liked it, because I couldn’t fall asleep a lot in so I tried it and it didn’t really work because the stories are for younger kids, so it didn’t help completely, but it did help me calm down I do recommend it for calming down. So I just wish you would add stories for older kids. I have Lyme's Disease that I got from a deer tick, so I have anxiety. So it makes it hard to sleep. I can’t do anything to fall asleep at night because I don’t wanna bother my mom, because she likes to get up early, and doesn’t like being waken up, and my dad gets tired after telling me stories for an hour to help me fall asleep. I had to, and still do, take melatonin, but it never really helped, but after MoshiKids it winded me down, and the melatonin then started to help because I wasn’t so hyper. I also wish more of the stories were free because I’m not allowed to spend money on my iPad. I’m writing this review just to tell about MoshiKids . I have deleted it because I have found ways to help me fall asleep, and manage my anxiety. MoshiKids helped me get ideas, like making up stories in my head to fall asleep. I recommend MoshiKids for people with anxiety to help calm down. Thank you for reading the whole review! Thanks so much to the whole crew!🙂😀😇

Yep, we’re paying for the subscription!

Listen ya’ll, this is a game-changer. I was apprehensive about MoshiKids, but it’s working for us. My four-year-old daughter is so difficult at night. She has boundless energy and every night it’s a battle of the wills to get her to go to sleep. Some nights it’s so bad that my husband and I tag-team. “I give up, it’s your turn to try.” We have tried reading to her, singing to her, doing a routine; but it’s always a struggle. Then, one day I saw an add for for Moshi as I was searching for a recipe or something, I don’t remember. Okay, I was probably on Facebook watching a video of otters swimming or something- Not thinking about what to feed my family. I thought, “meh, free trial for bedtime stories, why not? I’ll give it a whirl.” So, I turned it on for the tornado child that night and I kid you not, she drifted off within ten minutes! The second night she said she didn’t like it, but she still listened and it only took fifteen minutes. The third night I let her pick the story and it only took six minutes for her to drift off! We’re on night five of shorter, easier bedtimes! Sold!

Amazing

We have a four year old who has struggled with sleep from day one. Her energy and personality are bright during the day - and so hard for her to turn off at night. For the last 2+ years, a parent had to be in the room for her to be able to calm down enough to sleep. We eventually used melatonin (with her pediatrician’s blessing!) because her inability to sleep was leading to behavior problems during the day (and before someone blames our parenting - we have a rock solid bedtime routine, and our younger daughter has NEVER had problems sleeping). During my pregnancy with my younger daughter I often listened to Hypnobabies tracks while falling asleep, and loved how calm and relaxed they made me feel. I wondered if something similar would help my big kid fall asleep by herself. Enter Moshi Twilight. From the first night, she loved it. Picking out her “sleep story” is now something she looks forward to every night. And the best part? We don’t have to stay in her room for hours rubbing her back to help her fall asleep! We’re not using melatonin any more, and her behavior is better during the day. Thank you Moshi!!

I can hardly believe it

Bedtime is an issue with my three year old. She has trouble winding down at night. She quit naps at 18 months mostly because I was so tired of fighting her to sleep. Hours upon hours of tears and books and cuddles and begging her to go to sleep. All for her to wake up early the next day, tired because she didn’t get enough sleep. I was always against medications, even natural ones like melatonin. I didn’t want her to become dependent on it. But after years of struggling I began to contemplate whether I should or not. I have had MoshiKids for two days. And both nights she was out within 15-20 minutes. I can hardly believe it. I know it’s only been two days but I could seriously cry...I am a huge skeptic with absolutely everything. I was skeptical about this. Even after seeing all of the amazing reviews. I didn’t think it would work for us but I was absolutely desperate. And turns out it did. Better than I could have imagined. I’ll update this in a few months to let you know if it kept working. But for these past two nights....wow. Thank you so much!!!

Life saver!

My 4 year old son has always been so difficult to get to sleep. He has always refused to settle down, and bedtime was always a battle that sometimes lasted up to 2 hours. I had tried everything! I kept seeing an ad for MoshiKids, but was so skeptical because I didn’t want to spend money on an app. After a very difficult night of my son refusing to go to bed, I decided I would download MoshiKids and try the free trial. I was desperate. I’m now on day 5 of using MoshiKids, and my son has fallen asleep within 15 minutes every single night. This has never happened. I am shocked. This is a life saver for me! My son looks forward to picking his story out every night. He lays completely still while listening and goes right to sleep. Thank you, thank you, thank you to the makers of MoshiKids! I am definitely keeping.
I also want to add that I saw a prior review stating they couldn’t hear MoshiKids because they use fans. We also use fans and we can hear the stories just fine.

Big hit with my 4 year old at bedtime

This is a great resource for bedtime. My four year old daughter loves getting to scroll through the moshi stories and pick which one she wants to go to sleep with. They are very effective and I feel like they help her go to sleep more quickly and stay asleep more soundly. I myself will often turn on the music options when we go to bed. I also love that they add new content on a fairly regular basis- especially since this is a subscription. My only down side is that some of the narrators are a little too energetic and loud in their delivery. This actually makes it harder to go to sleep than easier and if I am utilizing the loop option, which we often do, then when the story starts over and the volume automatics increases plus the narrator comes in with a big enthusiastic voice, it reverses any progress we’ve made towards sleep. My daughter prefers the female narrators, as they are more soothing for bedtime, unfortunately the last 3-5 new stories that have been released are all men. She wanted me to ask if we could get another girl one soon :)... thank you! Wonderful app.

Erased old Playlist. Sleep regressed child.

I have been a Premium user for well over a year. I used to boast about Moshi to all my friends and family, especially since it is hard to get my special needs child to sleep. However, after my subscription was up and needed paid, I could no longer open Moshi and had to uninstall it and reinstall it. Since reinstalling, my playlist is no longer on. The sleep stories, music and meditations that I have been using for over a year to get my son to sleep, who NEEDS the consistency of the same exact playlist, is no longer there! Only 4 of the sleep stories we used are available. My playlist used to last us 10 hours. And now, I cannot do that. I now have a very sleep regressed child due to this abrupt change. I am also not thrilled about the $10 raise in subscription price when hardly anything is available. I will be deleting after this year is up, since I already paid. Not happy what so ever.

Yes!!!!

Our 2 year old started having trouble going to bed at night. She went from easily falling asleep on her own to screaming for 2 hours before she’d either finally pass out or we’d give up and she’d end up in our bed. Discovered MoshiKids during one of our frustrating bedtime sessions about 2 weeks in, so the next night we tried it. It was a gradual process, but starting that night, she easily fell asleep again, in her own bed. She’d still wake up anytime from about 11 to 5 and need to come in with us, but now she’s sleeping the whole night in her bed again, with her “stories” on repeat. While it seemed like longer to 2 exhausted parents, from the first night she melted down to the first night she slept through the night in her bed again, was about 6 weeks, maybe less. But from day 1, MoshiKids helped immensely. She went from screaming her head off at the thought of going in her bed to climbing right in asking for her stories! So THANK YOU Moshi! Thank you!

Amazing

I am an 11 year old kid with a large case of ADHD like bouncing literally around the house XD I have had huge trouble falling asleep and then one night my twin sister (who has probably double the amount of ADHD that I have) got a new iPod so she could listen to Moshi. I was curious at this point, bugging my sister and begging her to let me listen. I eventually annoyed my parents enough that they got me my own iPod as well!!! I loved it instant!!! It also helped my anxiety which I have a huge case of which leads to hyperventilating and not being able to sleep for me. This was a huge deal for me and now I am out like a light in less than 15 minutes. Some may say that as an 11 year old (soon to be 12) is to old for sleep stories like this. But I am to stubborn and immature to care😂 thank you Moshi for helping me so much!!!!!! You made my life so much easier!!!!!!!(one more thing: the Halloween stories has really creepy music and I don’t think Will Huggins has enough stories😊)

10/10 on this app for helping kids sleep

My daughter has trouble winding down to fall asleep at night. Which in turn means that I stay up later than I want to more often than not. It’s a pretty common autistic trait to not be great at sleeping and we’re always kind of looking for something to try.

A few weeks ago we downloaded MoshiKids. It’s really been great. There are relaxing bedtime stories, meditations, and music. They have a bunch of really great pre-made playlists for you. All of the stories take place in “The World of Moshi” and are just about different characters and places within that world. All of the voice actors are great.

She still struggles but is more apt to lay still and listen quietly to these stories than she had been previously. Regular audio books and stories aren’t designed with calm in mind and these 100% are. MoshiKids is for everyone but it’s especially kiddos with an excitable nature or maybe an anxious mind who might need some help relaxing.

Family Sharing

MoshiKids is wonderful. The stories are great. You can tell that a lot of time and creativity went in to making the stories and music. My kids love it. It actually does help them fall asleep!!! Here’s the thing... you CANNOT use family sharing with MoshiKids. When you download it, you have to sign up for a free trial to gain access to all features. And once your free trial is over, you can be charged for the subscription. But because it forces you to do a free trial first, your membership to MoshiKids is considered an “in-app” purchase. Which means... no family share. Yes, you CAN sign in using someone’s account on up to 3 devices. That’s fine and dandy. It is possible. But the fact that there’s no way to just pay for the subscription off the bat just makes it super frustrating. We did the trial. Loved MoshiKids . And we’re excited about being able to use family share to have it on all our devices. When we found out we were unable to, we were disappointed. Overall MoshiKids is worth it. But the way the subscription process works could be better. Makes it seem like they purposely don’t want you to be able to use family share.

Best app EVER!!

Mommy of 3 young kinds. Oldest is 4yo, 2yo and little one is only 7 months. Before I discovered MoshiKids my husband and I dreaded going to bed, because the kids would fuss and throw tantrum about falling asleep. They didn’t want to stop playing. I came across an ad of Moshi on social media and didn’t give it too muah attention but the name stuck with me finally one night when the tantrums started about going to bed I remembered MoshiKids and decided to give it a try. THAT WAS THE BEST THING IVE EVER DONE!!!!! I played Goldie on a speaker as loud as I could and immediately my kids stopped screaming and crying. I turned the volume down a bit and helped them get comfortable. They loved it!!! The first few nights they would sing to it, but after just a week they hear it lay down relax and fall asleep within 10 mins!! MoshiKids has been a life changer!! Super amazing and would definitely recommend it to parents. THANK YOU MOSHI!!!! :D

Saved my life!

Let me start by saying my daughter got a concussion at a little over the age of two. She hadn’t slept the same since. She wouldn’t sleep in her own bed after that. She slept with my husband and I and was extremely restless the entire time. We saw doctor after doctor we tried melatonin (directed dose by doctor) we stuck to a routine. Basically you name it we tried it. She’s now three and I’m 7 months pregnant. I cried nightly I would never get any sleep before the new baby comes. We scheduled a sleep study for our girl and a week prior we find out out of pocket would be roughly $5k. 😳 we decided to cancel and give MoshiKids a shot. Ever since downloading my girl has slept through the night every single night. We just added Moshi to her routine now she asks for her “mermaid story” every night. She crawls into her own bed and sleeps for a full 10 hours. This momma is so so thankful for MoshiKids!

Preview the stories!!

Up until tonight I LOVED MoshiKids. It’s finally helping my anxiety ridden foster son be able to fall asleep without me holding his hand for hours. Yesterday it would have been a hands down five star review. Which is why despite my concern I still gave MoshiKids 4 stars.
Tonight I learned the hard way to preview every story before letting him listen. I know as a parent I should have done that anyway, but so far I hadn’t had an issue and he was so excited for a new sleep story...
The newest story involves a time traveling alien who flys away and returns to earth to find the planet destroyed and his entire family gone. Um. Yes it turns out ok in the end. And yes, I get that the environmental impact is a timely and important topic. But this is a sleep story. Can you imagine a child falling asleep at that part in the story when the family is gone? Now take that and apply to the tens of thousands of kids who deal with anxiety over losing family members. Unfortunately it’s likely to be a long sleepless night for us.

A skeptic proven wrong!

My 9-year-old has ADHD and has had difficulty falling asleep for about 3 years. He goes to bed at 8:00, but would lay in his bed flipping & flopping until he would finally pass out between midnight-1:00am - EVERY night. 🤦🏻‍♀️ We’ve tried everything: relaxation music, sounds, melatonin, essential oils - you name it - but NOTHING has helped. I can honestly say that I did not have high hopes for the Moshi Sleep Stories to work, however this skeptic has been proven wrong! 😱 Ever since the 2nd night of playing these stories, my son has fallen asleep BEFORE 10pm!🙌🏼 Tonight, being the 5th night, he was asleep before 9‼️ I honestly can’t believe it! After he falls asleep, I go in his room and switch it back to his CD music (because I can’t leave my phone in his room all night long), but even then, he doesn’t wake up. I’m SO thankful to have finally found a solution. Now, he wakes up feeling rested and not so grumpy! 😜❤️

Bedtime a million times better

About a month into the quarantine bedtime became a disaster with out 7 year old. After 2 months of nightly crying, procrastination, anxiety and very frustrated parents we found Moshi. It is worth every, single penny! Within a couple days our daughter was going to bed without getting up, without the anxiety. We couldn’t believe it. Three weeks later it is still working like a charm. The stories are perfectly paced to encourage sleepiness, but enticing enough to make her want to listen. She even asks to listen during the day while we color quietly. We used the calm down moments when feeling anxious. I have never paid this kind of money for an app subscription, but this is the best, most well thought out app I have ever experienced. We love it and are so happy to have found it. Thank you for giving us our smiles back at bedtime!

I’m still shocked that it put my kid to sleep

Ok, to start I have a 3 year old that NEVER sleeps(woke up every 2-4 hours until he was a year and a half and has never napped unless he passes out) and it’s usually a 45 min bedtime struggle. I tried MoshiKids last night because it was starting to become a very difficult bedtime. 15 mins later he was asleep! I actually got mad at myself for letting all the “Just what we need, another app for our kids” comments stop me from trying this way sooner. Don’t let those stupid comments stop you from trying MoshiKids and giving your kid the sleep they deserve. I really don’t think anyone has a more difficult child when it comes to sleep than I do so your kid will knock out for sure. I used it for nap time with my infant and now I get to enjoy a HOT coffee and some alone time(baby fell asleep in 15 mins all by himself!).

Best money you will spend on your child!

I stumbled across Moshi Twilight probably 6 months ago. I must say for the first few months I was hesitant to buy it because it didn’t want yet another monthly payment to a subscription service and the One-time fee I felt was too high for a family of at that time one income & my spouse agreed when I asked. HOWEVER, with that said my kids are now 2 & 4 and I DO not regret spending the $150 to have a lifetime of Sleep Stories, Music, Relaxation Sounds and all the other little extras it includes!!! IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY! Even I love the stories and it definitely makes bedtime easier and something my babies look forward to specially when they add a new story! Seriously BEST money spent on our kids because they will have years of use before they grow out of it!!! To the creator of Moshi, THANK YOU! Absolutely LOVE your product!!!

Game changer for my toddler

My 2 yo daughter has a serious case of FOMO and she loves to cuddle and sleep with mom and dad. Our nighttime sleep routine has always been a stressful struggle. It would take 40+ min to get her down to sleep and most of the time ended up with her screaming as we “snuck out” anyways. These stories (specifically the ones by Phillipa in our case) have been a game changer. Naps are done in less than 5 min and now she’s down in 10-15 min (often less than).

Phillipa’s voice is so dreamy. The stories are super cute and there is also sounds, music and meditation (for those slightly older kids). It is worth every penny and I love that you can create your own playlists as well.

My only wish is that you could create more than one playlist and also have them sync with other devices. But I highly HIGHLY recommend!!

By

Definitely helps us, with pros and cons.

This has most definitely helped our two youngest children (four and six) fall asleep in a gentle, easier, and faster manner. For that, I love it. My children solely request stories by Phillipa Alexander, so I wish there was a filter option on the stories by narrator. I also wish the story content didn’t include global warming. While a very critical and important topic, I don’t feel bedtime is an appropriate time for it. It’s my preference to have my kids drift off to sweet, gentle, worry free stories, not rising temps and melting glaciers. I would strongly suggest removing the global warming stories or adding a filter by subject so the parent knows. A narrator filter would be fantastic as well. I’m now finding myself going through every story to see who the narrator is as well as the subject matter, which is not quite convenient. Aside from that, my children do love it and I am thankful it’s helping bedtime so much.

Really?!?!

I was skeptical about MoshiKids, since I saw it advertised on Facebook. It said something like my kids fall asleep in 20 minutes. I was like yeah right. So, I decided to prove the advertisement wrong. I installed it and hooked it up to my Bose speaker. My son (3 years old), who doesn't like to go to sleep, (spectrum baby), fell asleep in less than 15 minutes. I thought it was beginners luck. I was thankful for the free trial. I have put my son to sleep by myself for almost 4 years. MoshiKids has allowed me to let others help in the bedtime routine. Even Grandma gets to sleep with my BoBo. I would gladly pay the yearly fee for stress free bedtimes. I am no longer skeptical. I am a believer. No one paid me for this review and I didn't get MoshiKids free. In fact, I even got to sleep through the night for the first time in 4 years. Thank You!!!!!!

The Most Amazing Product Personally & Professionally

Seriously I could not have fathomed how well MoshiKids works. It’s frankly incredible. I use it in my home and in my work. At home, I have my nephew and my step daughter. At work, I am a child behavioral therapist and I work with autistic children. Works like a DREAM putting my kiddos at home to sleep. At work, this is an excellent tool to help calm and re-center my special needs clients when they get overstimulated or agitated. Child will grow so fond of MoshiKids that they may ask to go to bed just to use it. I say this from experience. Even me and my mom use it now to take naps when our schedule drastically changes and we have to adapt our sleep patterns (my mom is a registered mental health nurse). All around useful. Best money I ever spent besides the memory foam mattress itself! And certainly cheaper!

Worth It!

I came across Moshi through a Facebook App and with a toddler who was struggling to peacefully sleep or settle down, I was desperate! I have been subscribed now for over a year and my little ones favorite sleep Story is ShiShi ❤️ she enjoys the soothing story telling and I will catch her singing the lullaby chorus when she needs me to know it’s naptime during the day. The developers also listen to suggestions when they put out surveys. I suggested the ability to create and have more playlists targeted to specific things and we use certain ones for her wind down time, car rides, when she’s feeling anxious or just needs some zen time. I can’t even begin to thank you MOSHI for being an amazing part of my family. Now, when you decide to make some merchandise, that’ll make her day to have a plush shishi 😂

Insanely Quiet

I get that this is a sleep app, I really do. I get that this is supposed to be calming. Maybe MoshiKids developers expect kids to play with screens before bed instead of over speakers like I wanted to do. Maybe my kids are the only ones that sleep with fans on and maybe my son is the only kid on the planet that is a tad hard at hearing, but even on my Google Home at 100% volume (which is usually deafeningly loud) my kids can hardly even hear the story. I feel so bad for kids that have legitimately difficult hearing problems trying to use this. We tried an auxiliary speaker, a Bluetooth speaker, my kids echo dot, and just my iPhone and you couldn't even hear a word with the fans on. We have to manually move one of the Google Homes out of another room, reset and Bluetooth connect it every time, and cross our fingers just to hope it works. I'm so glad I didn't pay for it or get sucked into a subscription because it's simply unusable. Like I said, maybe we're the only fan-sleeping family, but the audio should be a little more flexible.

Enjoyable

Thus far, MoshiKids has been excellent in getting my 2 boys to bed. My boys share a room: my 3 yr old just started sleeping on his own almost a yr ago in his own bed. His older brother has adhd and anxiety which can cause insomnia. He’s only had one night where the story didn’t help. I unlocked for the 7 day trial and more than likely will pay the yearly subscription. When you have a child like mine who doesn’t like being alone and anxiety ridden sleep problems, it’s better than medication. We all enjoyed Kazuki’s Silent Wish, we currently live in Japan and it’s going to remind us of home when we move back to the states; maybe a someone with a Japanese accent reading and not Scottish for this one, just a thought. Lol
Keep up the good work and I’ll update again once we move.

We tried everything

And I mean everything, to get our 4 year old to settle down at night. Weighted sleep blankets, solid and consistent routine, essential oils, meditation podcasts, you name it. The only thing that worked was melatonin, which I only used when absolutely necessary. I decided to give Moshi a try because I’m willing to try anything. At this point I expected the same result: “This works for everyone else’s kid, but not mine.” Well we are on night 5 and it has worked consistently. I have never written an app review before but I am hoping this will help another desperate parent and urge everyone to give it a try. I am still on the free trial but we are definitely purchasing. This has been a blessing for our entire family. Thank you Moshi!
