They really need to update the chat feature there are too many bugs in it. It’s very frustrating to use. Sometimes when you type messages they never show up but looks like it posted, then go back in and it’s gone. Also if you type a message and want to go back and edit it (I use talk to text a lot and I have to correct things) the chat feature does not let you do that without deleting the entire thing first, you can’t get back to your spot in the message for corrections. Unfortunately using a team chat feature is very important and when it doesn’t work correctly it can be frustrating.
Sports engine already does everything better!

There app serves 2 primary purposes: (1) add hockey practices to a shared family calendar; and (2) provide a chat forum.
this app performs functionality (1) adequately, but complete misses with functionality (2).
Most important, this app does not provide a means to enable receipt of notifications when someone posts n the team chat. A previous reviewer noted the same issue. this app responded by suggesting enabling this app notifications on the phone’s Settings app. This did not work. Unfortunately, this app does not appear to provide a Help contact, or other information for requesting assistance or requesting bug fixes.
Also, when I try to visit this app.org (the product website), the only information available is an “Internal Service Error” message. Very irritating.
I normally don’t leave ratings, but I figured I would leave some feedback since I was a little skeptical with another rating saying that it was garbage. I was pleasantly surprised. The chat notifications were working well once I turned them on. Super helpful to keep track of everything. Would recommend.
Crossbar has everything I need for my teams and it couldn’t be easier to use. The team chat works great and I love the family calendar with all my games and practices for all my teams in one place.
