Don’t advertise your app as free if you have to pay to actually be able to use. Scum.

How can one pay for your product only to find zero instructions on how to use said product. Even a plastic Tupperware container comes with instructions on how to use it. Also, the two page list that explains the names of the buttons doesn’t give instructions. Just button names and what they’re used for. How to implement the buttons is completely missing. After searching for instructions for more than an hour, I’ve arrived at this question: Is my money wasted or can I get a refund?

I just purchased the full version because I wanted to use all of the features and now I can’t use any of the separation features at all. I’m not sure what went wrong but some assistance would be helpful or a refund for the product. Please assist so I can change this rating.

Love LetsUnmix! The algorithm is the best available to my ears. Currently, the audio files will not save to in app folder. Will update when fixed.

I have used LetsUnmix for a while now and it works as intended. I purchased the full version of LetsUnmix thinking the whole song was being separated, but this is not the case. Recently (and this may be a bug in one of the recent updates) I plugged in a song to listen to the drums, but it only loaded half of the song so I couldn’t get the full track.

Additionally, not all instruments are separated. I understand this is what the “other” column is for, but I feel like guitars and more should be separated from each other as well. Similar to how GarageBand works, I should be able to select an instrument and only hear that piece’s sound, assuming that the instrument is present in the track. This works great for the drums, bass, and vocals, but nothing else.

So far I love LetsUnmix! Wish it would allow more options to give a better isolated vocals or instrumental but its great! Also, would love if there was an option for a longer song. It only goes towards a certain point and doesn’t allow you to move the song to keep adjusting. But other than that, it’s a great app!

This is a great app! I use it for recording covers and transcribing sheet music, I really like how you can save the files and transfer them to other apps, as I use my EAD10 to record and it makes it a lot more professional to be able to (mostly) take the drums out of the song. My only suggestion would be to add the ability for it to tell you the BPM.

Uses the same technology and algorithms as the Spleeter/Deezer platform. Don’t expect pristine separation like you’ve got the multitrack session tape; this has some artifacts, but very mild and for studying music or an artist, learning a song, or for lifting an element like a drum track this is amazing. Highly recommended.

This apps does a great job at splitting tracks from songs. I’m a drummer and love how well it can mute the drums so I can play along. The only thing sorely missing for that use is a metronome and the ability to export a click track. If that could be added, LetsUnmix would be a no-brained purchase for most musicians.

A few years back, I ruptured my vocal chords from singing over four hours a night, five days a week. I’ve since had paralysis of my vocal chords. I can still talk, but I am not able to sing like I used to. I’ve also lost 50 percent of my hearing and now have permanent tinnitus from the years of playing music in loud environments.

In short, I gave up my music for a number of years, and developed severe depression as a result.

LetsUnmix helped me want to start playing again. Knowing that I would never be able to sing again the way I used to, I decided that, as long as I could still play and have somebody else sing, I would be ok. What better way than to play and accompany the original artist.

I use LetsUnmix every day to just play to the thousands of songs I have stored in my brain, acting as “the band” to the original recordings. And while nothing is “perfect”, for the price that LetsUnmix was, literally saved my sanity and my life.

THANK YOU for not being a ‘subscription’. I know that you could charge that, but I’m nothing but thankful that you didn’t. Blessings to you. You will have no idea how LetsUnmix helped save me.

One of the most full tools that I have ever used. Being able to pull out the Bass stem is invaluable for me when learning Musical Theater shows. I use it constantly!

I can wait to see how LetsUnmix is developed in the future.

Have tried to load 6 songs twice they get to around 75% and app shuts down ??

Does exactly what I wanted it to do!!!!!!! $4.99 worth every red cent! I have been looking for an app like this for a long time!!!
Able to practice songs our band plays with the original artists vocals only!
Easy to use once you do it a couple times plus the directions are very simple!!!!! If you want to extract parts of songs this is LetsUnmix for you!! I can import the tracks to my (DAW) Multitrack with my own music and mix in the vocals that I extracted and it sounds professionally done! Great products!!!!

As others have said, LetsUnmix Just Works. Would be nice to tune the internal parameters to adjust to different recordings.

I’ve used quite a few vocal isolation apps over the years with varying degrees of success. This one works very well!

Seriously. I rarely write app reviews, but I’ve been working on a remix and I was struggling with the vocal samples, as I didn’t have the a cappella version of the song. I tried Audacity, EQ, etc. Never got to a place I liked. Then someone put LetsUnmix on reddit and I decided to check out, but I wasn’t confidently it would be better than what I had done before. Being free also lowered the barrier to try it out. And boy it was worth it! I still can’t believe what LetsUnmix has done with the song. It really feels like magic and the vocals are perfectly isolated. I bought it in a heartbeat. It solved my issue in 3 seconds. Congrats developers!

I like it but when it comes to extracting the vocal I would really like it to be an inverted version of the song with better higher quality just for the acapellas and probably the instrumentals to if y’all can. Also I want it to have a button that says “Invert” and make Acapellas have 2 different options. One for regular acapella extractor and one for a better higher quality acapella like the ones people make on audacity or something and have the Instrumentals powered by PhonicMind instead of spleeter.ai. Sorry for the long review.

I’ve been using LetsUnmix since the day it was released. I don’t know why people are complaining that they had to pay an extra $4.99 to use more features of LetsUnmix as there are no advertisements, no overpriced subscriptions, LetsUnmix is always updated, it works, and it is on my top 15 must have iOS audio apps. I’ve been using iOS audio apps since 2011 (plus beta testing) and I’ve seen wonderful apps go through putrid changes, go to subscription service even after you’ve paid for them, and some have no updates (basically wasting your money without it ever working on a new device). Not LetsUnmix- truly fabulous. I adore LetsUnmix and appreciate the updates!!

Like another comment said, I don’t often write reviews for apps, and when I do, it’s mostly only for if I think an app is garbage. But LetsUnmix actually motivated me to come write a good review. I honestly didn’t really expect this to work tbh, but I said screw it, it’s free to try... and my mind was blown! This dev deserved every bit of my 5 bucks for the full features (export, full song length, etc). Honestly after hearing how well it worked, I would have easily paid more. I’ve been wanting something that does this since I was a little kid but didn’t think it was really ever possible. So here I am, smiling like a little girl on her birthday, plugging in all my favorite songs. And it just works, all you do is load in the song and tap a few buttons. In a world of subpar subscription service apps, this is quality app development, many thanks to the devs!
