I have a horrible time with setting good habits and sticking to them. My ADD is also a big factor; I have a hard time focusing for long periods of time, even with medication, and I lose track of time so easily I forget to do things I’d originally planned.
I got Routines figuring it couldn’... Show more t hurt to try. I’ve used it for almost a month straight now.
Every morning I wake up to a notification that encourages me to do a small task. And every morning, I look forward to the wonderful little compliments I get about each thing I do.
I look forward to the encouraging quotes that come with my reflections.
And the wellness levels that depict what each task helps me with, mentally and physically.
Every small task is a huge accomplishment, especially once I realized I was doing each task for a solid month now.
I though this would be a pay-to-personalize type app, with ridiculous purchases that I would have to pay to care for myself. Or that I would be bombarded with ads. Or that it would be too generic and work like a simple reminder app. But I don’t have to spend a cent. (The only payment here is the option to buy vitamins, which Routines personalizes with data and a small questionnaire.)
Routines is just so perfect and purely good for getting into good habits. I’m healthier than before, my habits have stuck with me and I feel I’ve made a lot of progress.
Thank you so, so much for this gem of an app!! 💛💛💛💛💛
