AMAZING!!!

Honestly until I tried lucid hearing aids I never knew how much I was missing out in life. So many sounds the world around you makes and I never knew because I couldn’t hear certain frequencies. I tried other cheap devices that anyone could buy and nothing came close to these. Honestly I can’t live without these now. For the first time in my life I don’t say “what” repeatedly when speaking to people and so feeling embarrassed because I still don’t hear what someone is saying to me. I can hear my child in the next room or if he yells out for me while I’m cooking. I highly recommend! I teared up when I first used this because I realized my life was quiet and lonely compared to all the sounds I was actually missing out on around me. I didn’t think my hearing was that bad. Quality is important with these. You get what you pay for. That’s why I got the highest one that was recommended for me.

Connection problems

LucidHearing is great when it works properly, but it rarely connects to both HA’s and randomly connects to only one. Maybe some day they will get it figured out. Then again maybe they just don’t care.

Please add Live Listen

I go to church and would love to open app to enable live listen to hear sermon. Also many speakers at large meetings with coughing and talking in the surrounding chairs.
Please add this to your app. ( with warnings to place Do Not Disturb during this time. It would be embarrassing if the phone started playing your ring tone.)

Lucid app

After using LucidHearing for several months now, I and quite tired of LucidHearing changing itself. I never know if it’s in Lucid on both ears or Lucid on one ear and noisy on the other. It’s a constant battle. Close LucidHearing , open the battery doors, restart the phone, LucidHearing needs some serious updates.

Do developers read reviews?

I, as do many users, constantly have to reset my aids by opening and closing. Some app developers reply to reviews so I know it can be done. These HA’s have some good aspects; Lucidshape is great, but I get tired of resetting every hour or so. Also, if I sweat the least amount they quit until I dry them out. I wish they were waterproof.

Enjoy the app!

I have really enjoyed my hearing aids and LucidHearing . Simple to use and love the features!

Doesn’t hold any setting

It’s useless. You set the volume and it will change randomly by itself. This happens to the other settings also.

Miserable

Can’t pair my lucid hearing aides to LucidHearing . Tried 3 times with no results. Returning these hearings aides and trying a different brand. If this company can’t get a simple app to work correctly the hearing aides are probably junk too.

Delighted!

I have been searching for a new hearing system that is budget friendly and has the technology that I need to stream and found mine at Sams hearing Centers! I was very surprised to learn that Sam’s has hearing aids, and top line service. My visit went very well, no pressure, and I just walked in. Extremely knowledgeable I must say my, I was impressed. Best part is my ability to stream my calls and media into my new hearing aids. Hearing my conversations in both ears w direct streaming is a game changer for me. Thank you Lucid Hearing and Sam’s hearing centers, will definitely recommend.

Updates have made the difference

Had some issues when it first came out but now that the connection has been perfected I love using it to take phone calls and listen to music. Just like any Bluetooth device, it uses a little more battery life when streaming but the rechargeable batteries make it easy to power back up quickly. The specialist at Sam’s was very thoughtful and explained how to use it and taught me how to troubleshoot any connection issues.

Junk

LucidHearing has caused me too much trouble as it is unstable and in my opinion useless. If you have an iPhone 7 or 8, The better option is to open your hearing aid battery doors, open accessibility on your iPhone, then Hearing Devices and then while the phone is searching for devices, close the battery doors. Wait until your hearing aids are found and then you will have the option to hear your phone in your hearing aids. With this set up, three quick presses on the home button will bring up a screen to control volume etc. Hope this helps.

ParkMan

I’ll give it a one star because when you’ve got it on Bluetooth The sound or music fades from one side to the other at random which is very annoying. Another problem is you show all these apps One hearing aid only has three and the other only shows two out of all those apps. Also when you’re listening to Music there is no Fidelity. Sounds like a cheap transistor radio. The equalizer is not very effective. Puts in a lot of highs but not very good meds or lower end.

Terrible app!!

After getting my Lucid hearing aids adjusted, I was initially excited to see a Lucid Hearing application with some nice features. However, all it does is continues to say connecting, then connected, connecting etc.. When it did connect could not access a phone call or adjust hearing levels. Tried closing app and restart phone several times. I am am done, going back to Apple’s hearing in Accessibility that works. Suggest Lucid shut down application until fixed!

By

Bluetooth sync

I miss the listen live feature. There is still a problem with dropping off and having to restart the HA’s to sync with LucidHearing . Having less Bluetooth apps helps some.

By

Bluetooth Connectivity

I just bought hearing aids for the first time in my life that work fine except for the Bluetooth connectivity. Connections disconnect that requires power cycling aids, pairing, restarting iPhone for proper operation. Also poor sound quality with Bluetooth. Please fix these issues that People are seeing.

By

Like the app

I like being able to control my hearing aids with my phone. No issues to date. Happy to have this and use it.

Lucid App

Hardly worth the time wasted downloading LucidHearing. Disconnection issues requiring a hard restart of iPhone are a major cause of concern. User beware as you might very well be better off using the iPhone hearing aid connection in lieu of LucidHearing.

Nothing but Trouble

I went to Sam’s for their advertised $599 hearing aids and $4,000 later I have a product that they keep telling me just needs to be adjusted or, I’ll get used to it. LucidHearing drops my hearing aids between phone calls so I either miss the call completely or can’t hear the caller at all because LucidHearing dropped the connection. Lousy product.

Drops hearing aid.

My experience with lucid has been terrible!!
I bought a new iPhone and they worked fine. Went in for an adjustment and they had an update to the hearing aids. New app too. Now the hearing aids don’t stay connected or reconnect no matter what I do. I wish I would have paid the money for the more expensive pair somewhere else. Support isn’t the best either.

Lucid hearing app

Totally unreliable! Half the time it doesn’t connect to my iPhone, or only one hearing aid connects. When it does connect, it’s invasive and wants to control each call when I’m driving, and won’t let my car Bluetooth to my phone. It also tries to overtake when I’m messaging, which doesn’t even make any sense! I hate LucidHearing!

By

Terrible

This version is terrible. I never had trouble with the previous version connecting via Bluetooth. I have to turn the iPhone totally off and back on to find my hearing aids. While I like the hearing aids, this version makes it impossible to adjust when conditions are noisy. You need to hire some good programmers to make your app great again.

By

Terrible app

Hearing aids disconnect from I phone 11 when LucidHearing is closed . Must take hearing aid off my ear and turn it off and on by opening and closing the battery in order for Bluetooth to re connect . This has to be done every time I want to use LucidHearing . Would give zero stars if I could .

New app is worse

This is the newer version of LucidHearing and one of the biggest complaints is that it will not auto connect to Bluetooth like the previous app did.
