Flyp: Inventory for Resellers Reviews

I got Flyp in the hope and pursuit of being able to sell my clothes fast, at the cost of some of the revenue. (It can be difficult without a huge following.) After viewing what this app considers not allowed to sell, (which — by the way — is outrageous! No Forever 21, no H&M no Old Navy, etc.) I submit around 25 items for review. (These are not submitted individually, but as a whole.) Now, when you upload your items to this app it asks for the overall condition of the item. Lots of my items were NWOT (like new) while some were what this app considers “fair condition” (some signs of wear.) ALL 25 OF MY ITEMS were REJECTED because 1. the overall condition of my items “weren’t good enough” and 2. although the brands were accepted by this app, they “weren’t worth enough” or in “high enough demand.” This is OUTRAGEOUS. Why even bother having an option to mark your clothes as “fair” condition if you’re just going it waste my time and reject me? Honestly, I feel offended that an app is telling me, all 25 of my items which around 20 of are in NEW CONDITION isn’t good enough? I am disgusted.

I hired a seller in May. I shipped her around $700 worth of merchandise. She claimed a 40% commission which I was more than happy to share. I had the hardest time receiving payment for items sold. I was getting frustrated with her and asked her to return the unsold items. The seller ghosted me. Stop communicating with me and stole my items. this app says they have a payment guarantee for the money minus the commission. I would much rather have my items back and sell them myself. Do NOT use Flyp to sell your clothes. I have had the hardest time getting any answers as to where my clothes or my payments are for sold items. I have been using lots of platforms to resell clothing and this experience has been nothing but a headache.

I have been on this app since the beginning as a Pro Seller and as a Client. At first I loved it and it was an excellent way to grow my reselling business and get rid of stale inventory. With the new “matching” I have to delete Flyp . I hate that I can’t choose who sells my lot. For some people it may me easier for them to just be matched with a seller, but it is very important to me and others to choose who sells our things. I can no longer see how much I’ll get for items and compare the numbers with other sellers. As a Pro Seller, I can’t see all of the available lots and it’s nearly impossible to get one now. I HATE this app and I am disappointed that I can no longer use it. I was promoting Flyp daily on Instagram, but I can no longer recommend it to anyone. I think the creators destroyed one of the best new apps. Please get rid of the matching! It’s terrible and you’re going to loose so many people.

So I decided to download Flyp to check it out. I can’t even get a feel for what this venue is about, the only options seem to be to sign up as a pro seller, or start listing items for others to sell for you. I can’t seem to get to the actual site itself, where I can see the merchandise, learn about sellers, you know…see what it’s all about and how it works. Why the secrecy? Why do I have to provide so much information just to “look around” and decide if it’s even a good fit for me? It just seems a little shady. To be clear, I realize that there are pages that explain the concept of this app, what I mean is, unless I’m missing something, you can’t just access this app to see what it’s like. I’m not comfortable with that, I like to get a feel for venues before I start giving out personal info or sending pics of merchandise.

The concept of this app sounds easy enough but my experience was rough. Flyp itself needs work to make it easy to actually track your items and know how truthful your seller is being. Such as I agreed on a commission to the seller of 30% by the end of it all the seller had changed it to 53% without my knowledge. No alerts got sent. Seller did this AFTER they already had my items. Allegedly seller had some family issues and said they would send items back. 6 months later I’m still waiting for that package and my jimmy choos back. I think Flyp will be great in the future but I don’t want to be a guinea pig again. Customer service seems ok. They respond in a fair amount of time.

Flyp works well and aside from a few UI quirks, is easy to use. The marketplace is very opaque for sellers, but if you can offer items that meet the requirements, it does pay off! They need to update the Google Data Sheet for brands - some come up yes but are rejected in Flyp . The brand detector is also a little aggressive - "limited edition" triggers "The Limited" etc. If you're a reseller and losing steam, or anyone else who has a ton of gently used clothing for whatever reason, Flyp can be a great way to get your death pile out the door without a lot of effort. Describe your items accurately, and the sellers will love you! Don't send them crap, and don't lie to them - they'll find out and you'll miss out in the long run.

Let’s be real, selling your old stuff can take a really long time; weeks or even months, sometimes. When you need cash fast, you just can’t wait around for someone to hopefully buy your stuff in enough time. That’s the reason I decided to try using this app. I was a little hesitant and skeptical at first. I braced myself for the worst, because that’s was always my experiences trying to sell anywhere else. I waited for the bad customer service, but I didn’t get it. I waited for my things to mysteriously get lost or ruined after I sent it out, but it didn’t happen. I waited to get a cruddy price and be disappointed, and that didn’t happen either. From start to finish the process was smooth sailing and effortless. this app exceeded all of my expectations and it made the process of selling my stuff really easy and stress-free. I’ll never go back to selling stuff the old school way. Looking back, I wish I had discovered Flyp sooner. It would have saved me so much time, disappointment, and headaches. Take my advice, don’t waste your time trying any other selling company. If you want the best – flip is it!

My wife and I are cleaning out our closet and we found a lot of clothes, shoes, and purses that we were going to donate anyway. But we wanted to see if there was a way to sell our used clothes for some extra cash. We tried out this app and it’s been a great experience so far! It’s super easy to upload our items as a lot. Professional sellers reach out to me to bid on my lot. Then I get a prepaid shipping label and then they do all the work. Not a bad deal! It’s making us want to Marie Kondo more of our stuff because they might bring more joy to others!

My husband and I have a bad habit of boxing up old stuff and simply tossing it into our attic, to collect dust. But, during a thorough Spring cleaning, we decided to finally go through some of that old stuff and get rid of what we no longer wanted or needed.

We were a little overwhelmed by how many boxes of old clothes we found up there. We figured our best bet was to sell it and use the extra cash we make to pay for our daughter’s upcoming birthday bash. We came across this app and instantly jumped onboard. It was the great customer reviews that had us sold. We were assigned a pro-seller who was very sweet and helpful 🙈.

She answered all of our questions and even though my husband and I were totally new to the selling process, she made it so easy for us. Getting all of our old stuff sold was a breeze. We got a good price for our things and we didn’t have to break a sweat at all. We were even able to buy our daughter the Sailor Moon specialty cake that she wanted so badly. Thank you this app. You turned an overwhelming process into an easy one and you helped make my daughter’s birthday a little more special.

I have been using this app for 2 months now and I have had so much success. So much actually that I have put up more than 20 lots with up to 30 items in each. I use this app to sell my excess inventory, and I have found several professional sellers on Flyp who have great audiences who buy from them certain brands that I can't move. I know that most people will use this for their personal clothes, but if other business owners are out there, check out this app, it can come in handy for liquidation.

This past year has been tough for me. I lost my job due to coronavirus work restrictions. I knew I couldn’t just sit around and do nothing, so I Googled ‘how to make money online.’ Luckily I came across a great app called this app and was able to sell my clothes to make some extra money. this app has been amazing, it makes the whole process of selling clothes very straightforward. It’s allowed me to make extra money to help keep my head above the water. I don’t know what I would have done without Flyp. Thanks this app you’re a lifesaver!

My experiences with this app have been excellent! I’ve had several lots sold by consigners who have done a wonderful job. I had one experience where a consigner became unresponsive and never returned my lot. I reached out to this app and within 2-3 days they not only reimbursed me for an item this woman had sold but never had released payment, they also reimbursed me for the remainder of the lot. I love that you can choose who consigns your clothing too; they don’t just assign a consigner to you. Flyp is very easy and user friendly as well

I’ve been with this app for a long time, almost from the beginning, and regularly use Flyp to sell shoes. I’ve been able to sell shoes to make extra money in my spare time and am impressed with how easy the whole process is… Flyp is very well managed, and it’s easy to connect with sellers. I have now built up connections with a few sellers who I trust to get me the best price possible. If, like me, you love shoes and have accumulated a large collection which you’re looking to sell, use this app to get a fair price without the hassle.

I would give Flyp 5 stars as its helped me to sell some clothes and make extra cash. I decided in January that my new years resolution should be to have a clear out. I started on my closet and realised that I had lots of clothes in almost new condition. After a bit of research about how to sell my clothes, bags and shoes I settled on this app as it had lots of good reviews and seemed easy to use. I wasn’t disappointed, after a week I had sold five things. After the sales went through my money was sent to me quickly as well which was a bonus.

I'm a single mom of a twin and I hired a Pro Seller on this app about 2 weeks ago to help me sell things from my closet. She is absolutely amazing. She takes care of everything for me, she takes photos, cleans out the items and irons them, does market research and haggles on my behalf. I honestly would have never been able to do that on my own and its great to find some help. I am more than happy to pay 40% commission to my Pro, I would have had to pay 20% anyway on Poshmark and do all the work myself, and I likely would not have been able to get the sale prices that I'm getting with my pro, so in a way, it's not actually more expensive at all.

this app is a good app if you want to have a clear out and sell your clothes without the hassle of actually seller them (if you know what I mean). I was matched with a seller who did everything for me. This was a good option for me as I have a hectic life and busy work schedule, I didn’t want to have to figure out how selling on sites such as ebay work. My seller was amazing; she really made my listing stand out and each item sold pretty fast. I was able to contact her easily to see how everything was going and she discussed bids with me before accepting them, which meant I got a good price. I hope I can use this seller again in the future.

Being a singl mother of three means that both your time and your money are going to be tight. I had hit a snag and found myself needing a little extra money. I didn’t know how I’d manage making any extra cash though. I was feeling a little stuck when a co-worker told me about this app. She claimed that she actually got a good price for all the things that she had gotten sold and that the process was so seamless and easy. I figured I didn’t have anything to lose, and the prospect of not having to do all of the leg work myself really appealed to me. So, I decided to give them a try. To my surprise, they actually did a better job than I could have ever imagined. Pro sellers were so friendly and helpful. They got me good prices on everything and they certainly helped to make this mom’s life a little bit easier. I’d hug them if I could. Pros on here took a little stress away from this very busy momma, and she thanks you.

I don’t ever write reviews for products or services, but I’m gonna rant and rave right now because I love this app! I’m a college student and I’m pretty much broke all the time. I found myself needing some extra cash for back to school stuff and a friend told me to sell some of my things with this app. I won’t even lie, I totally thought it was phony at first. It seemed too good to be true. But my friend swore by them and I am so happy I took her advice. My mom and I found a lot of old stuff to sell and this app literally did all the work for us. They made it so easy. All I had to do was sit back and wait for my things to sell.

Pro sellers on Flyp do everything for you. It was literally the easiest way I have ever made extra money. I made enough to not only buy all of my books that year, but I even had enough cash to treat my friends and I to delicious back to school lattes. Every time I hear I hear someone say that they need some extra cash, I jump at the chance to tell them about this app.

After having a clear out, I decided that I would like to make some extra money selling some clothes and shoes that I no longer wore but that were still in good condition. I have no internet selling experience and have never used eBay before, so was unsure of how to proceed. I also have a busy work schedule and felt that I wouldn’t have the time to dedicate to selling. After doing some research, I came across this app. The ideas that I could let someone else sell my clothes appealed to me, but I was skeptical about how well Flyp would work. I decided to give this app a go and was impressed with how well it worked. The whole process was very quick and easy, and my clothes sold faster than I expected. I had about twenty items to sell, and they were all sold within six weeks. I like how I was able to link with a Pro seller to sell my clothing, and I feel like my items sold for more than they would have if I’d sold them myself. The extra cash will come in handy for this year’s vacation! ?

this app works well, I’m recommending it to all my friends. The only downside I can find is that you can only sell designer brands with Flyp. I have many other clothes that are from the high street and are still in good condition, that I’m not able to sell with this app. If you have designer clothes this app is for you, if not you’ll need to find a different app. I’m not really complaining though as Flyp was easy to use and the few items I sold went quickly. I got my money in record time and was very happy. Perhaps this app will expand in the future, allowing people to sell high street clothes and jewellery or even household items.
