I hate the new KTVN news app. There are no categories for national versus local news, health, or entertainment like there used to be. However, the most disappointing change is the lack of printed news stories. I used to be able to read 90% of my news in silence, but the new home page features about 95% video only stories. Go back to the old format KTVN—this new app we waited so long to get is very disappointing!

I have deleted and reinstalled twice. When I try to open 2NewsNevada , I get a pop up that says “No content available” “Retry or “Exit”. Retry gives me the same response and exit closes 2NewsNevada . I now have to go to a different news station app to get my news alerts.

WHY FIX SOMETHING THAT WASN’t BROKEN??!! Even when I saw 2NewsNevada kind of worked, I hated the format!

Love the old app. The newest addition is not user-friendly, I agree with the other reviewers that it does not allow you to look through specific categories. Big News 2 Reno fan, but this is going to get uninstall if it doesn’t get fixed quickly.

Used to be very reliable source for local news, now 2NewsNevada does not function correctly, the layout is terrible. Really miss the old app, would even be willing to buy it if that was an option. Much disappointed

One star is one to many. Old app worked just fine, this one is worthless. The kid that engineered this one should have at least tried it.

The same news repeated day after day.
The old app was a lot cleaner and easy to navigate with tabs at the top to go to sections of 2NewsNevada .

Warred a long time for nothing. It should be an embarrassment to KTVN management and staff. Is not informative at all. I’ve got to look elsewhere for my news.

Not a working app! I miss the old app. Bring back the old app pls channel 2. I need it!!!!

Worst news app ever, not one notification during the worst snow storm in over ten years. Nothing but Garbage!

Sputtering audio and no What the Tech -Frustrating.

I check my News 2 app daily and when I updated the KTVN Channel 2 News app I see there’s no more headlines, no CA or NV options on the menu, it’s all video links. I miss being able to scroll thru and see story text headlines and the ability to jump to different areas such as featured, NV, etc.
Hoping it’s a just conversion or staffing issue and the missing functionality will be restored or sadly I’ll be removing it as I dislike the format.

Coverage you cannot count on, the old and new app have been a mess. I’ll just stick to your over cluttered website because who watches live tv in 2021?
