RodeoCarnival is soooo slow. It crashed on me multiple times and would show my tickets as empty when I actually had a ton, so we could do anything. This also makes it difficult to split up and allow people to go in different lines. You have to all stay together to use the same phone. I’m NOT a fan. I hope I can use something physical next year.
RodeoCarnival was terrible to use when because nothing would load during peak times at the event. Tickets and coupons should be preloaded on RodeoCarnival instead of having to use the internet to have access to the tickets. Internet is close to impossible to use at a hotspot like the Houston Rodeo. The wifi option within the event also does not work. Hopefully they can change this so it doesn’t have to load every time. Inconvenience for everyone.
I purchased the half value carnival pack and registered an account and everything in RodeoCarnival . after i linked the tickets to my account i went into the account to see the pack and make sure it’s there. when i click on the “carnival packs and carnival tickets” button, RodeoCarnival half loads it and then forcefully shuts RodeoCarnival down without me being able to access it. what can i do to fix this?
“Used” ticket books stay on the main screen and look the same as unused. There is no way to view from RodeoCarnival how many tickets are left or used. It got so confusing trying to pick a book with tickets left I had to have them print out paper copies. You figure once it’s been used it would mark it as such. For an app whose sole purpose is to track ticket sales and use it fails miserably
Super frustrating that there is no way to hide used elements of ticket packs, so have to constantly scroll and double-check to see what’s already been used, which ticket clusters no longer have any left, etc. Especially annoying if you’ve purchased multiple packs! Ones that are completely redeemed should drop to bottom or off completely.
Good idea to make the tickets electronic. People are more likely to not lose their phone as apposed to the paper packs. Unfortunately, refund system does not seem to work correctly. I have plenty of tickets left, in fact I have all of them remaining as the carnival for shut down as we were in line for our first ride. Anyway, all tickets remain, but both refund options are showing zero tickets. From what I’ve found online, this is not happening to a lot of people, but I’m not the only one it’s happening too.
Update: I have verified my tickets are half price carnival pack and the refund part of RodeoCarnival is still not seeing that the account has tickets available for refund. Thanks.
With multiple packs and usage, could you find a way to take out the used portions so that they do not remain in the active screen? This makes it more efficient when trying to use what you still have. Also, is there a way to categorize it so you have carnival tickets section, food section, games section? Again, the scrolling through for what you need is not very efficient. The other thing that wasn’t working that well was the scanning at the games and rides. Some operators had a hard time scanning, while others did fine. Thanks for asking and considering our feedback. I do like RodeoCarnival much more than the paper packs.

A bit confusing at first as there are no “directions”
You must go to your account and enter a credit card before being able to purchase tickets.
Once that is done and you can purchase it’s smooth sailing.
I do wish you could add multiple emails / phone numbers to be able to log into one account if the entire family is using it. This way everyone could be linked to one account and would make for an even easier experience.
Overall a great app, worth getting and makes rodeo safer and much easier to navigate.
I love RodeoCarnival so much easier to use. You don’t have to stand in line. How ever I think the only issue is the time it take loading. Not sure if I was having issues due to multiple using at the same time. But other than that great!
Great app very convenient. But when it gets crowded you will have poor signal and it will not load. I suggest loading it with signal and keep your phone open to the barcode until it’s your turn in line. Only if you’re losing signal.
...once a ticket pack is used up it needs to become either unavailable or change color or disappear. The used up packs got in he way or were easily confused with the remaining packs. IOWs here was no way to discern the difference between used up and unused.
It was very convenient but the tickets should show how many you have. It was very confusing I had to keep scan my phone to see where my tickets was🙃
Looking forward to May 2021. It’s a family tradition. RodeoCarnival makes ticket use for rides so much easier to track.

absolutely love using RodeoCarnival and don’t have to be picking up tickets at the booth I can share the tickets with anyone I choose just a very simple easy process.
Always a great time and with RodeoCarnival and wifi it made it so easy to keep track of my tickets and food coupons!
App does not let me make an account at all! Registered, but it will not log me in. Tried to fix the problem but there is so way to get any customer support.
I really enjoyed using RodeoCarnival . Especially the transfer feature. I really liked just using my phone vs keeping up with a coupon book for the carnival tickets.
My family and I bought carnival tickets for 2020 rodeo Houston due to coronavirus we were unable to use them but with RodeoCarnival I was able to keep my tickets for 2021+ they added a few more for my family to enjoy I’m looking forward to 2021 rodeo can’t wait thank you and my family and I looks forward to houston rodeo 2021

I like the new app. Easy to use. I wish RodeoCarnival would show how many tickets remain in a book on the front or in the history. If a book is used, it should state no more tickets
At the Rodeo and now it says new version, I go to App Store and it says it’s up to date and no new update. However, it won’t let me use app. All our tickets etc are on there and we can’t even use them. What’s the point of being here when we can’t do anything? Very frustrating. Esp since this is the only night we are able to be here.
No running total for ticket!!?? What?? Tickets are separated out by package and there is no way to check that you weren’t over charged. Makes it a lot harder to know how many tickets you have left so those of you with little kids...good luck!!!
My one suggestion to improve RodeoCarnival would be to make the transfer of tickets more smooth. There was a lot of confusion when trying to transfer between individuals.
There needs to be a way to show the ticket balance and remove the ones that have 0 balance. It really like the fact that there aren’t any paper tickets
Need to be able to delete once tickets are used. Have to click to see which pack has no tickets left. Only suggestion so far.

Followed the instructions on the confirmation /email receipt and successfully loaded to the individual accounts that i Intended to send.
