I downloaded TencentVideo specifically for about 10 shows I knew were on it. I initially downloaded it and realized there was a VIP version I had to purchase to watch newer series. I opted to purchase it and began watching with no problem. A week later during which I watched some shows when I log onto TencentVideo the videos I’m clicking on are all telling me “not available in your region” I’ve reported a few but it’s extremely frustrating to try and report them all. Also I have not gotten a response as to what the issue is. I paid money for an app I can’t even use now. On top of that it’s extremely sporadic and i can watch one episode of a show but it won’t let me watch previous episodes which defeats the purpose as I won’t watch newer ones with out having seen the previous. Definitely needs a fix.

Update: My issue is Miss the Dragon. I’m VIP and watched all VIP episodes and paid for a “fast track” one(ep21), but won’t let me watch it, says “not available for my area. I reported the issue but have not heard from no one. Either refund me the money or make it available.

Update: Just checked TencentVideo and it works again. Tai kai xin!!! Have used the WeTV app for about a year, started crashing on me two days ago. Gave it time but no change. Downloaded the new app(this tencent one) and still crashes. Can’t watch any videos. I love it, just don’t know how to fix the crashing.:(

I’ve been trying to access my VIP! I’ve sent several emails across my devices. No response. Keeps says email not valid. I used to be able to access without any problems. NOW… NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I’VE UNINSTALLED AND REINSTALLED IT Doesn’t Work!!! I’ve paid my subscription for the YEAR AND NO ONE IS WILLING TO HELP!!! Please fix.

Update: Just like many reviews here, I have been VIP Member for over a year. When the last update to app occurred is when my VIP disappeared. Been trying to contact this company via email like they suggest and to no avail. It says email is invalid. Can’t get a response from anyone from Tencent Video. This is ridiculous. I’ve been reaching out for months now and still no response. I’ve included my information in the email and still nothing.

Great app, with excellent content and easy setup/access. Have been using it for a long time with no issues. However latest update has a problem with the subtitles. None can be seen/used regardless of language chosen! This is in all shows/categories - so not a region issue. Tried to report through app but it looks like the option is not available/doesn’t work?!? Hope this can be fixed soon if the developer pays attention.

The videos are OK but the software is so bad it makes you want to cry. The search function is a joke but the Watch History is so bad it that the developers should be taking behind the wood shed.

Imagine, you start to watch a TV series but stop for a while. You return and the watch history is gone. You’re forced to relocate the show and search for where you left off. That is no easy task since scrolling through a video is quite slow. And that happens EVERY SINGLE TIME. Complaining to customer support (if you can even find it) is a waste. You’ll simply be ignored.

Be smart. Just ignore this joke of a service. There are others out there that actually work.

I’m a VIP member which has its perks but it’s hard to contact someone when you have issues with playing the videos.

For example, VIP members can have access to extra episodes, but now they have come up with Fasttrack viewing. So on top of paying for VIP status, I paid an additional 99 cents for the next video in my series, only to receive a message that I couldn’t watch the video as it was being offered in my region. Of course, one isn’t notified until after the money is paid.

Now I have to hope someone contacts me and I’ll get my refund or that somewhere along the line I can play the video.

I’ve also noticed this week that many more dramas are not “offered in my region” now. I never saw this before and now I’ve seen it 3 times in about 2 days.

Ever since the update five days ago subtitles don’t show up on my TV when I cast. The only way to watch the show with subtitles now is on my phone. But on my phone every few minutes the video skips about two seconds and then the subtitles disappear. If I rewind the subtitles come back but this happens every approx 5 minutes. It’s hard enough to enjoy the show on my phone and it gets interrupted every five minutes or so. I was actually considering upgrading to VIP for the special content but now it’s too glitchy.

I don’t really have problems with TencentVideo but it definitely needs to be updated I downloaded the WeTv Chinese version and it’s a lot better than Tencent Video app that’s available in the U.S. I’m not saying it has to be on the same level but Tencent definitely could’ve put more effort into TencentVideo specially since they’re a huge company and they make a lot of money. But I do like TencentVideo better than the website.

I like TencentVideo but could use a few modifications.
I am a VIP customer. I used to have TencentVideo that said WETV ( which i didn’t have any problems) however a year ago… it said that one was no longer Available and it made me install this one Tencent video… which is fine except for here in America I’m not having access to certain dramas as i should per the WeTV English Instagram page and what’s being advised to my availability.

I do want to say I’m grateful to be able to watch the shows I want relatively hassle free… however, TencentVideo totally glitches out during episodes. It’ll jump ahead several seconds, which will disable subtitles; if I scrub back, it will usually bring the subtitles back, but sometimes, it just won’t, and I need to restart TencentVideo . Sometimes, subtitles just stop even without the skipping and just don’t come back, so again, I either have to rewind back a bit, or restart TencentVideo .

I have TencentVideo for a couple of months and when I try to watch other series that I have watched before that’s on my list it’s now saying it does not work because of my region. But if it was working before did the update mess up where it is now longer part of my regional. I really like TencentVideo but know it like I can’t watch anything on it now.

At first, I saw the review and decided not to download TencentVideo as they said the voting doesn’t work. But a day later, a Thai reaction channel I watch reacted to Chuang 2020 and TencentVideo they used voted just fine so I decided to download TencentVideo and I had no problems voting for the trainees I wanted to vote for. (I log in by connecting to FB)

Just update TencentVideo today and I gotta say, video freezes for a few seconds but audio still going. Once it catches up, I’ve missed like 15-30 seconds of a scene. Happens several times in a video. I keep having to rewind the video. I thought maybe it had something to do with my WiFi since it’s been kind of slow lately but it happens even when I’m using data.

Everything look ok and plays just fine for being in the U.S. but it showing most if not all of the titles and other thing in TencentVideo in Thai/English and the subtitles won’t turn no. I have the cc on and English selected, but they won’t show on screen. I can even see the subtitles in the edit/quality part, but again not on the screen.

I paid $56 for VIP in California on my iPad to watch the series. But I cannot sync my account on my Apple TV. Very frustrating! I feel that Tencent cheated out of me on VIP. So don’t both subscribe when you cannot watch it on Apple TV. In Apple subscription, it tells me I subscribe to it for an annual fee. So when you install the same app on Apple TV, it should automatically sync. Instead Tencent Apple TV app ask you to log in via Mobile app which I tried but does not work. I wasted my money. So am reaching out to Apple asking for a refund.

I have had TencentVideo for almost a year now and at first everything was great. Then they did an update to TencentVideo about a month ago and since then it had been awful. Most shows now say not available in my region. Even shows that I was in the middle of watching became unavailable. Since the update what few shows I could continue watching now are often interrupted saying the network is unstable to the point where a 45 minute show takes almost 2 hours to watch.

TencentVideo is a bit buggy and only allows you to play some of the Chuang 2021 episodes. However TencentVideo is extremely buggy in the sense my Chuang voting and entire Chuang 2021 page tab are all in Thai. I have this issue on my iPad as well and don’t know why. I have redownloaded TencentVideo , restarted my phone and even made sure my systems language was set to english but it is still in Thai. I can still vote but it’s annoying to not be able to read anything.

I don’t know if it’s a bug or what but most videos have an error message saying it’s not available in my region. I reported one, and I was able to watch it eventually but I’m not willing to report every show I want to watch. Plus, there are issues with the search retrieval. I’ll look up a show and then that show’s information shows up where the next show’s should be. There are much better apps available.

It’s so infuriating, I don’t even know why I pay for VIP. Nothing new shows up on TencentVideo , only the same few dramas and variety shows are the only ones available. I click on latest and a message pops up and says no data, I click on drama…no data. Please fix your apps, because none of the newly airing dramas show up. I use TencentVideo on my Apple TV and my IPad, and both apps are terrible. It’s not even worth me subscribing to VIP.

i bought the VIP for the monthly subscription for 5.99 a month and though it says 5.99 a month starting in april by the email i got from apple there is a totally different price in TencentVideo ? its saying $99 for my next pay which i do not understand, otherwise i enjoy TencentVideo though i only bought it for three shows

Buyer beware. I was a member for over a year . They were called WeTV or something like that. Love it, great variety of shows. However the last several months I have had issues. I did the subscription through Apple as it is easier to track and manage all my subscriptions in one place. I was not given premium access even though I paid and had a receipt. Trying to reach customer service is a joke. They sent me to Tencent Tai on Facebook and I was still given the run around. I canceled and tried again 3 months later (brought the 3 month pkg) and I had the same issue. Forget it. There are other streaming apps with great shows, I don’t need the hassle or to be bogged down with commercials when I paid.

Two stars because i like TencentVideo and the content it includes. But the mayor issue is that when you pay for the VIP membership it keeps showing ads and WON’T show VIP content.
At first i thought maybe i did something wrong. Tried both, the monthly and quarterly membership. Still cant finish the last episodes of the serie i was watching.

So I’m not the only one with the problem. I live in the US and I have a VIP subscription as well, but these past few days whenever I watch a video it keeps crashing. What is wrong? Please attend to this matter, my subscription just renewed yesterday. And I really love TencentVideo

Whenever I try to click one of the shows keeps crashing. I really like TencentVideo please fix it.

What time do you offer full screen mode ?
I feel that original screen mode is so small on my Xsmax screen. I feel that original screen mode is not give premium version. Please give update to get full screen mode. If I get full screen mode, I will get 5 star. Now I give 2 stars. Thanks. 👏

When I click on TencentVideo and click the show I want to continue to watch it crashes. I already deleted TencentVideo and re-download and still crashing. What else can I do?

Can you put Vietnam in there because they don’t show in there even tho my friend have Vietnam but I don’t ...

The works fine. But in America specially in the morning TencentVideo it's constantly interrupted and there is no feedback URL valid a contact functionality nothing.

Downloaded TencentVideo just for voting for Nene! It works fine but I hope there is some feedback showing me that I’ve voted successfully.

I’ve downloaded TencentVideo in order to watch and vote for the Chuang 2020 show but voting won’t work. TencentVideo plays video pretty well and with high quality but voting was the main reason I downloaded TencentVideo and that aspect doesn’t work.

Please have Vietnamese subtitle
