After down loading the Toyota and Key Connect app, I keep getting emails to add my car. I have done so several times and it wants to charge me again for the plan. Very confusing. Can I register a second vehicle for the same price or is more than one car included. When I try to register my first car, I get a message saying my email is already being used and to sign in. When I do that it says my email is not recognized. Catch 22. I would cancel and start over, but message says I am stuck with paying for a year and that canceling only stops auto renew next year with no refund. I can’t find a way to make contact for help or support. I hope I haven’t just lost the yearly price which was purchased with no difficulty. So far that’s the only thing that’s gone right. This appears to be a $70 dollar rip-off, even if unintentional. I’d like the service, but would like a refund, if I can’t get help with this. Also, I refuse to pay for the first year’s service a second time. Thank you,

Really bad app , im now one block away to two gas stations this it want me to go to one 16 miles away from these two and it shows in CarPassWallet I have no gas . The only thing I can do lock and unlock the car . Every time I use it Uconnect app sends a message of what happened. So Uconnect it’s the best thing for me and way cheaper than CarPassWallet I don’t even remember it name . Thanks for wasting my time and Better not to charge me anything it says three months free trial I’m going to cancel it now after less than three days .

I recently bought a 2020 Chevrolet Trax , downloaded app. Paid for year, then CarPassWallet will not connect with my car. It keeps showing 403 Application not authorized to requested make(s): Chevrolet even though CarPassWallet says it is compatible. Customer service has been emailed no valid phone # states it has been disconnected. Just want CarPassWallet to work or my money refunded to my account. It has been deducted already.

I was searching for Ford apps and accidentally downloaded KeyConnect. Worse in trying to find out what the functionalities of CarPassWallet , I accidentally hit the information on the subscription, and was signed up for a year with no means to cancel it.
I tried CarPassWallet , an out of all the”functionalities” that it has, only two things sort of worked. The tire pressure indicated the tire pressure from 250 psi to 258 psi, when the vehicle la tires were all filled to 36 psi.
The other item that intermediary worked was the door locks. Average success on opening the doors were less than 50%.
My personal opinion of this product is that it is too expensive for a useless product.

I downloaded CarPassWallet thinking I could unlock my car after I accidentally locked my fob in the trunk. CarPassWallet asked me up front to purchase a subscription only to find out afterwards that it isn’t compatible with my car. The terms state you’re able to cancel at any time and to contact them to do so. But it’s been a week since I contacted them and they have yet to respond. Such a rip off!

Why do I have to make a Nissan account or whatever plus send documents of my own car no thanks if I wanna add this future to my remote start when I don’t wanna use my remote plus it’s ridiculous that why I’m giving it 1 start you lucky I would give 0 if I can rather use the remote I’m fine with it I guess thanks wasted my time trying find CarPassWallet and got excited for nothing thanks anyway 😒.

I bought a 2021 Durango, then purchased CarPassWallet (premium version), typed in my VIN, and it said not compatible. I had already paid for the service and now I have contacted them for a refund, but have not received a response (it’s been 9 days). Terms of use say all rates are no refundable. Well....if I can’t use the service, I think it’s ROBBERY if I am still charged! Charged for a service that-because of THEIR lack of coverage of my BRAND NEW VEHICLE-I cannot use. Not cool, people! Not cool!

I purchased CarPassWallet for my Acura TLX (obviously made by Honda) and it will not allow me to create an account to sign in with. I can’t even get to a screen that will assist me, no chat box and there isn’t even a help screen. I am very, very extremely frustrated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you want to save yourself some grief and a whole lot of your precious time, just purchase a key fob from your auto dealer or a stereo equip store!

I got charged and my car isn’t even compatible. I cancelled the subscription as soon as I couldn’t enter my Hondas information since for some weird reason they paired Acura and Honda in the same line ??? Which doesn’t make much sense to me but anyways. They charged me like a couple weeks after and I had to call apple to get undone and all 🤦🏽‍♂️ they should separate Honda and Acura and put what cars are compatible BEFORE you subscribe or at least give a free trial 😒

I don’t know for everyone else but I downloaded CarPassWallet and read all the instructions thoroughly. Even though the says it works with 2016 Range Rover evoque, it would not work for my 2017 Range Rover evoque nor my 2017 Jaguar. Now I see why they made sure you pay for CarPassWallet before you can even see its functionality!!! When I report the issue, the person said there will be no refund even though I can’t use CarPassWallet plus they kept ignoring emails after emails. I loss $70. I wish I used the actual Land Rover app.

CarPassWallet has literally no functionality without subscription. On top of that, there’s nothing you can even do in CarPassWallet before subscribing that will help you determine if it’s something you want. There is only a dummy “Select your make” picklist that does nothing, just takes you to a subscription screen no matter what you select. They should be charging for CarPassWallet on the store rather than pretending it is free with paid upgrades. They do it this way with the clear intention of getting subscribers for the super short 3 day free trial hoping you will forget to cancel before they hit you with a whopping $20 monthly charge for a junk app.

Why would someone purchase CarPassWallet, when all it does is give you the exact same features that you get from the car manufacturer’s own app. That is how it is with Audi. If you buy Audi connect and pay for the subscription, you get all these features through the myAudi app. Why would I pay $19/month to get features that I’m already getting. Also, CarPassWallet does a poor job of explaining the benefits and it leaves people confused as to what you are signing up for, and you can’t even try CarPassWallet without paying. Don’t waste your money!

You have to pay for a subscription before you can set it up. What if it doesn’t work for my car? How do I verify that it is compatible with my car prior to purchasing a subscription?

Edit: I bought CarPassWallet for $70 and it doesn’t work for my car. Note: this does not work for Honda! The “Honda / Acura” choice should just be Acura. It prompts you to sign in to your Acura account or enter your VIN. I don’t have an Acura so I don’t have an Acura account and it told me my VIN was from a different brand. So if you have a HONDA don’t buy CarPassWallet!

I was advertised CarPassWallet, and noticed that the description makes no mention of how it actually communicates with the cars. I managed to get past the subscription bait (there’s an x in the upper left) to try to add a car. I went to add my car, and just as I suspected, it asked for my manufacturer’s app login. So CarPassWallet not only requires you to subscribe to the car’s app, but itself as well. A neat idea for those with lots of modern cars in one app, but it does seem pricey after it’s all said and done.

The only use case I can find for CarPassWallet is if you have multiple vehicles from different manufacturers. Other than that if you only have one manufacturer or one vehicle it is more useful to use CarPassWallet created by that manufacturer. The features are limited and set up can be difficult.

I am trying to cancel and CANNOT find any way to do so. I purchased it to use with a 1019 Nissan Rogue and then found out that car will NOT work. How do you cancel?

Locked my remote key in car and stumbled across CarPassWallet trying to find a solution. It worked!!! Steps were fast and easy!!! Didn’t have to call Roadside assistance or a locksmith!

I own three cars: BMW, Ford and Volvo. I used to use 3 different apps for each car. Keyconnect can integrate all 3 cars at the same time. It just works like a charm. Tons of features right at your fingertips. Everything becomes so convenient using KeyConnect

Purchased CarPassWallet and it doesn’t show accurate information in relation to the tire pressure, mileage and car location. Have requested reimbursement. Waiting to see the outcome. Will update if possible

I really thought CarPassWallet would be just what I was looking for so I opted for the year subscription only to find the “application is not authorized to requested make(s)”. Not sure why the developers of CarPassWallet would have my make in the list and not support it, but whatevs. I want my money back.

So far the experience has not been so great. When I try to sync my car with CarPassWallet it asks for an email and password. As I have never logged in here where is the prompt to set one up? Not well thought out

I have entered vehicle vin several times and am told it is wrong. I have entered my passwords and email on uconnect but am told there is an error. The same issue exists on my molar account with password problems. This connect is sorry compared to Ford and GM. Dodge needs some competent IT people.

I’ve been trying to double check the car list, and I can’t even find my cars. There is a Subaru Crosstrek and a Nissan Rogue in this house, and the options aren’t available on CarPassWallet . CarPassWallet also makes me pay for no reason. Horrible app.

For you to try it, you will have to subscribe, or pay. It does not work with RAM and others. So you can not try your car without paying. Now I will need to ask for my Cancellation of the Subscription and money back!!! Bad way to try to steal from users!! Very angry and if I could, I surely demand the company in a court for wrong and bad business practices!!!

I have a Lexus that I need to use on CarPassWallet. The problem is they don’t let you check out if this working for your car or not. Bad thing that you have to subscribe first and then check for your car brand. My is Lexus which is not authorized on CarPassWallet. CarPassWallet is no point of contact them and no point of cancel. Be aware of CarPassWallet is look like scammer app to me.

Wanted to check features to see if I really could “leave my car at home”. If it replaces the key, it would be able to do anything a local key could do. All of the supposed features are already available in my car’s app, for free. Why would I need to pay for this unless I know what added value it brings????

Honestly you have to pay or get a Trial version that ends really quick. 3 days only and tbh cannot do anything really. You are better off using CarPassWallet that your car brand has it’s the same and more trustworthy.

It works on my 2016 Challenger. Only has lock and unlock though, wish it had remote start. The lock/unlock work better than the Uconnect app. I didn't have to pay anything to try it out, but I will be deleting since there is no remote start.
