I tried sending this issue through App Support, but that link sends me to a form for contacting customer service about a restaurant location. There isn’t anywhere else to actually post issues with BobEvans .

I already have a Bob Evans account that contains my order history, favorites, and payment sources. BobEvans shows a button to SIGN IN /SIGN UP, but the process only allows an option to create an account; there is no actual sign-in process. I proceeded through the prompts, and I used my same login credentials to go through the ‘create account’ process, and sure enough, my order history doesn’t exist in BobEvans . Bottom line, the Bob Evans website is the only place that I can actually sign in with an existing account. Existing account information apparently does not sync to BobEvans , and BobEvans does not accommodate logging in without creating a new account. Unfortunately, I had to delete BobEvans for now. Hopefully, this issue will be fixed in an update in the near future. I’ll take the free slice of pie for downloading BobEvans , but I want to login (sign in) using the account I already have to see my order history, favorites, payment sources, etc. I’ll be waiting for the fix.

BobEvans is ridiculous! Our family was gathering our order when BobEvans exited out randomly before ever submitting the order or payment. We opened it back up and the order was gone so we added our order to the cart then hit submit. Upon arriving to the restaurant, we found out we were double-charged, and there were two orders ready for us. Thankfully, the manager and employees were kind enough to work with us and figure it out. We got our refund for one of the orders but now there was an entire bag of food wasted because they couldn't use it. What a shame! Anyway, turns out this kind of thing happens all the time with BobEvans . The manager and employees weren't surprised by this situation. Great job on creating an app for stealing people's money. Absolutely ridiculous!!!!!!!!!

I’m shocked that Bob Evan’s has an app that is not overly user friendly. We shop many restaurants without any issues whatsoever. The Bob Evan’s app is by far the worst of all that we use. Ironically, your pick up and delivery food quality/menu/service is top notch.
I was asked for specifics on my experience. Here are just a few:
Many times BobEvans will not let us order individual meals, only family meals.
Many times BobEvans will not accept my credit card as payment. Yet my credit card works on all other websites.
Nov. 16th, BobEvans let me place an order, yet the restaurant never received the order. I know that date because it was my birthday. My husband had to scramble to feed our small gathering by going to KFC.

This restaurant has been wonderful during my stay at the hotel next door. BobEvans with the take out option was super convenient, as I prefer not to eat alone. It was a much better option than fast food convenience. I am thankful for a well placed restaurant with good food, great customer service, helpful and friendly employees, and a pleasant experience each visit this week. Thank you all for your hard work…it hasn’t gone unnoticed!! Kudos!!

BobEvans is nice and convenient. Only problem is we have never been able to get to “Offers” to work. We turn the offer on for various free things and we always get charged. When we mention it to the Store, they have no idea of what is being offered in BobEvans . However, we have a great store and they always makes it right. Too bad we always have to explain to them what is being offered.

My family and I enjoy eating at Bob Evans restaurant, their food is always fresh and the restaurants are very clean. Thanks to all their employees , every one we have visited the staff is always really great! I would definitely recommend Bob Evans to anyone wanting a down home meal! I ordered the Easter feast for 6 people Had the thanking giving one left out the ham but tasted good . I live 32 miles from Evansville got my package and left . Got home didn’t leave out one thing but they left out FOUR things. Ham, corn, rolls and relish. Four how can you leave four things out . Called them and all they said was sorry come back and get them . I told them I lived 32 miles away no answer from them . My daughter lives in Evansville will pick up but didn’t offer anything back and when I ordered gave a nice tip . Now I now why I west side closed down . Not very happy bob Evans . Probably will not get a response from them .

Everything was good up to the point when a waitress handled money then proceeded to cut up banana bread without swapping out her gloves. She was cutting up some bread with pair of gloves, which was good but then she got a tip handed to her by a customer and she took it from him with her gloves on. She then put the money in her order book and then went straight back to cutting the bread. If the wait staff is handling both
money and handling food, they need to wash and clean up between the two activities. Gloves in a restaurant are not for protecting the peoples hands, they’re for protecting the food from germs.

I have used the website to order from Bob-Evans in the past and thought I could use that account with BobEvans. However when I tried to use the e-mail from the account it ordered me to create an account. I believe that if you have an account created from the website it should be available to be used on BobEvans as well.

I love Bob Evans. My location is top notch. I do have a few problems with BobEvans and it doesn’t let me tell them about it. I can comment about my local Bob Evans and even Bob Evans in general. But, not about BobEvans .
Also, when I signed up for Level Up I thought I would be getting offers frequently. If not weekly at least monthly. Didn’t happen. So they track me and my visit and my purchase and I don’t get anything? Nope.

my wife and I have been going to Bob Evans for years and we’ve always enjoyed a great meal and a great atmosphere if you’re looking for really good food this is the place you must go. The staff is always friendly and they have clean restrooms and the prices are always right keep up the good work

App never allows you to reorder your favorites though that is supposed to be a convenience feature. EVERY SINGLE TIME it gives a banner that pops up after favorites added to cart indicating merchant has made changes and items have to be re-ordered from scratch. And it’s always EVERY item. So i have to remove them all from my cart one at a time and start over. And neither the selection options nor the price has been changed so appears to be a glitch in app.

A few recommendations:

Need to add “egg(s)” to side orders. If I want a 5-egg omelet, I can’t order that from BobEvans .
The user should be able to choose a favorite location, so they’re not prompted to search for a location every time they order. Will probably append ideas as use increases.

I’ve been waiting for a Bob Evans app in my life! Thanks for making it super easy to order ahead or get delivery. Also LOVE that I can save each of my family’s favorites for quick reordering.

The system does not allow for the sides to be customized. I was told earlier in the week to call the day of to order over the phone. Well, it is Thanksgiving and guess what you don’t answer the phone. The 2 times someone did the girl said I can’t hear the first time and the second time the girl said I’m too busy for this all while I’m saying “Hello, I’m here. Please don’t hang up again. Hello, I’m here. Please don’t hang up again. Hello, I’m here. Please don’t hang up again.” And still hung up.

I made a selection and then selected each item from the drop down but when I try to add to cart it says “ Sorry, the options you’ve selected are invalid. Please update your selections and try again” but it does not tell me which one is wrong. I even went through and selected each item different but it still would not work.
Also, it said my location was closed even though it was an hour after they opened.

It’s better to call the location for your order. This system doesn’t communicate with the local restaurant so the restaurant will call if something is not available to purchase. The company charged for the entire order. Not sure when the proper charge will be made to my account. Order did not have side sauces and app doesn’t have a way to ask for utensils. App also doesn’t have a contact me or feedback feature.

I place my Thanksgiving order a day in advance. Went to curbside pickup and called. Told to wait because “we just go a big order”. They hadn’t even started mine. What’s the point in ordering in advance if it isn’t going to be ready at the time requested? Otherwise, BobEvans is decent.

I had to call for the free slice of pie after downloading BobEvans and placing my order.. I can see that being a issue for others so figure I’d let you know. I look forward to using BobEvans in the future though.

While taking care of my mother while she was sick I tried to order through BobEvans so I could go pick up and leave. Unfortunately BobEvans doesn’t except gift cards as a payment option. So I had to drive to the store wait 30 mins with my kids in tow to be able to use the gift card.

I got a free slice of pie offer.
Went to create a Pickup online order with a slice of pie with the offer turned on. Did the Order Review. Top of screen says “some items unavailable at this time”. I turned off the offer, created the same order but didn’t get the error message with the offer turned off.

I’m so glad Bob Evans has an app now! Now I can order my take out in a flash and pick it myself, no extra delivery fees. Thanks Bob Evans!!

Bob Evans sells gift cards but BobEvans doesn’t accept them. Please add the ability to pay by gift card to BobEvans , and that will greatly improve BobEvans ’s usefulness. Thank you!
