My iPhone will not connect to the camera unless I bring it into my house. This is not okay.

I can download video to ZDashCam and not to my iPhone, and when I try to share the file it shows me an error message

Used to be able to connect directly to my phone with the WiFi. Now says it can’t connect to the recorder immediately after tapping the connect button on ZDashCam even after I’ve connected to the WiFi and I’ve endured it’s all set up properly. Tried reinstalling ZDashCam , factor resetting the camera, even resetting my phone and nothing works. Ditching their broken app and camera for something better.

I was able to download videos in the past but this function no longer works as of yesterday. ZDashCam only allows you to download a PICTURE. NO VIDEOS. Pointless. For reference, I have a iPhone 13 out to date on all iOS updates, I am attempting to use on a super old or buggy device. Very disappointed we spent like $150 between an sd card and a proper car mount and it only lasted a couple years. TRASH.

The interface is not intuitive or user friendly, so the most obvious function (downloading videos) is a pain to figure out.

What’s worse is that my iPhone reports 25-30% of my battery life is being used by this one app, even when it should not be connected to the camera. What is it doing that eats up so much power?

Cant connect to wifi it says password is incorrect even tho i connected the first time

The camera is recording but I can’t use ZDashCam because the dash cam won’t connect to my phone through Bluetooth/Wi-Fi.

Would be a 5 star review if I was able to actually use ZDashCam. It used to work with my old iPhone but recently I upgraded to iPhone 14 and it doesn’t connect anymore.

Please fix the connection problem. It appears ZDashCam is not working with the new iOS update

I have connected with wifi to the camera, but ZDashCam still will not recognize. I wanted this camera for ZDashCam and now I can’t.

ZDashCam crashes and I hope I don’t crash my car and not be able to recover the video for insurance and police! When it worked it was great! Fix it and I fix the stars

The “album” button doesn’t work, making it impossible to download videos from ZDashCam … have to take out SD card or screen record

Not easy to set up, doesnt come with storage and ZDashCam is super buggy. Nothing works and theres far easier and better products out there.

The camera works great but the IPhone App doesn’t work at all… on IPhone 12 and above. The company hasn’t fixed Phone App ability to monitor from anywhere there is a WiFi; therefore, you are unable live monitor your vehicle when parked.

app crashes everytime i try to open it . worked fine for over a year til now . i mine as well not even have a dash cam ..

The camera seems to do what it is supposed to do. As for the mobile app it could use some tweaking- for those using it in the US it would be nice to see the speed in mph and NOT in km/h!

Everything worked except no preview from IPhone

Was amazing. They updated ZDashCam and the firm on the camera and now it’s so laggy. Still recording amazing. Have 4 in all 4 cars… great product for the money. Bad to so so app

The camera was really easy to set up. But I can get it on my phone. The camera shows that it’s connected to WiFi but ZDashCam shows that the camera isn’t connected

I have had their T4K dash cam for over a year and have never had connection issues like others have discussed. Just make sure that you’re connected to the dash cam wifi in your iPhone settings. Most of the issues with playback that I’ve previously complained about has now been fixed, although long overdue. ZDashCam used to make you download the front camera’s 4K resolution videos in order to watch it; not anymore! I like the neat playback shortcut functions such as double tap to pause/play as well as drag your finger left/right to rewind/fast forward. I just realized that ZDashCam now has a livestream feature which was recently implemented. You can watch your cameras live on ZDashCam as long as your car is on powering the dash cam. One little thing I suggest is to implement a button on ZDashCam to change the view of the livestream between front/rear view camera

Not sure what's up with all the negative reviews. I think it's a lot of impatient people who don't want to take the time to figure it out. I know apps like this can be a pain, but this one has worked perfectly for me along with the camera. The camera and app have worked perfectly.
