Great Twitter Stats App

I really like Dashbird for Twitter statistics. It looks good and is easy to use and understand. I’ve tested a few similar type apps, and this one is my favorite. I was also impressed with the developer’s customer service when there was a glitch after the iOS 13 upgrade. He answered tweets and e-mails promptly and repaired the issues quickly. Dashbird shows who retweeted you, but only gives a count of users who liked individual tweets. It would be nice to see who liked your tweets as well as just a count.

THIS APP

I’m not one to do reviews, but Dashbird is what I’ve been looking for, for years. The stat tracking on Dashbird is completely underrated and I haven’t even paid for the pro/premium yet! It does more than any other app I’ve seen for Twitter. For example it shows who retweeted you and how many times... AND WHAT TWEETS. It makes it so much easier to know who to follow back and who to unfollow. The only thing I think it’s missing is “likes”

App started out great , now crashes a lot

Dashbird started out great, now crashes when opening the application. It’s annoying because this is the only app I like to use. And others are inane in cost

Fantastic and easy to use

A great stats overview for Twitter noobs and experts. Really easy to understand, but it has the user info you need most often.

Just stopped working !!!!

I have been using Dashbird for 7 months with no problem. I even paid for the multi year subscription, because I was satisfied with the functionality. HOWEVER, Dashbird does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!! I keep getting an error message "permission denied". I restored the purchase through iTunes, and it's now totally useless. Thank goodness I paid for a full subscription, I LOVE WASTING MONEY!!! 🙄🤦🏻

Best out of the rest

Is the best one I’ve used so far compared to the rest of the analytics apps. Most of them didn’t even work

Great app

Best app of it's kind, and I’ve tried them all. I have 50,000+ followers and it works great. It provides stats and info I haven’t seen in other apps. A definite 5 star app

Highly impressive!!!! ❤️

Definitely a huge fan of Dashbird. It’s completely free, no ads, works so good!!! SO EASY!!! 1,000,000 stars if I could!!! 😘😘❤️

False advertising

App says it can track information, but every time I expand details of any “new” notification, it’s blank, claiming “no data.”

It promises something interesting but delivers nothing but disappointment.

By

Everything you need!

Definitely would be a ten. But terribly priced. Make it significantly cheaper… twitter is going to take your idea and format it to twitter. For free

So far, so good - extensive data reporting

Keep it up... 🗣#TruthMaverick

Sneaky in that they post for you stats

This is a default setting that can be turned off but it’s quite an embarrassing bit of “free advertising” for Dashbird ! Shame on you!

Great app for how I use it!

I use Dashbird exclusively to track Twitter followership. I am able to see who follows me, unfollows me, and who my mutual followers are. I can even view their profiles from within Dashbird .

The one improvement I'd like to see would be the ability to have Dashbird auto update with new stats on my follows when I open it. It would be nice to make that an option in Dashbird settings. As it is now, I must manually refresh every time I want to see updated stats.

Doesn’t work

I paid for a year in September. Dashbird stopped working and gives me no real data anymore. Their support isn’t helpful.

Crashing

Keeps crashing for no reason on the latest iOS!!

By

after update

after the update, the application doesn’t work good
it doesn’t show who did unfollow, just tell you how much, and show the name as “null”
and sometimes it shuts off suddenly then you loos the last updates and informations

it was really great application. but now! i don’t know what happened!

i hope that it will be fixed

Thank you ♥️

comprehensive & convenient

I find it very useful having 4 social media sites I use regularly tracked in this 1 app. I havn't seen accuracy issues others reported. Although I have not counted or compared totals, I have however cross-checked specific follows/unfollows Dashbird reported, at the corresponding social-media sites and it was accurate all times I checked.
There is a history feature but I also missed this; my husband point out the date field looks "clickable"; I was delighted to see this reveals history of all the prior checks. The "refresh" button is what updates a session with new info. (mentioning this in response to reviewers who reported these features missing)
Warning: it can be upsetting, even heartbreaking as valued "real" friends/connections drop you for no apparent reason. But it is better to know with certainty, than potential humiliation of assuming they're missing by accident or you forgot to add, then you appear a fool re-friending someone who kicked you the to curb intentionally.

Well I was surprised that FriendCheck was gone…

Replaced by this app! Had no idea. Everything looks good so far. A bit of a learning curve. Haven’t found all the functions from the old app yet but still exploring. The user interface looks great. Clean and contemporary. The analytics available for the account is much expanded and easy to access. Hope to find how to tweet the list of new followers. That was my most used function. Also to check who wasn’t mutually following and when. That allowed me to keep up with my reminders or unfollow. I’ll add more when I’ve spent some tine. Thanks for the update.

2/10 update: As for the one star rating from kirk, it’s absurd that’s all he could come up with. Personally I prefer dark mode on most apps. But aside from that the tool does so many things that the dark mode isn’t even a factor of. I originally gave 4 stars because I assume anything can be a little better. Changing to 5* to compensate some for kirk.

don't download if you want to use instagram

I paid $3 for Dashbird to update it with the new version because suddenly it went from being free to $3 (ridiculous). I have always used Friend Check and enjoyed the convenience of having both Instagram and Twitter available on one app. When my Instagrams stopped working on Dashbird , I emailed support and stated the issue. The response was that "[Instagram] revoked access for Friend Check... they no longer allow the type of functionality that Friend Check provides... similar apps suffer the same fate." However, I have already downloaded new, FREE, Instagram tracking apps and they work just fine. I wish the title wasn't misleading and that the creator would have updated saying Dashbird can no longer connect with Instagram before wasting $3. Why would i pay $2.99 for an app that just checks my twitter followers when I could find that for free? I was willing to pay $2.99 because of the ability to have both Instagram and Twitter handy on one app. Super disappointed and no solution was offered.

Looks great but is inaccurate for FB

Dashbird incorrectly reports the number of friends I have on Facebook. The number it shows is neither the total number of friends, nor the number of subscribers to my personal page. This disparity and inaccuracy is unfathomable. Apart from that problem, this is extremely well-designed, simple and clean, and maintains a professional appearance. I only use it to keep tabs on my Facebook and LinkedIn contacts. However, as I suggested to the developers, it would be considerably more useful if it reported and kept track of Facebook subscribers as well as friends (and did it accurately). I hope they implement this feature soon (especially accuracy), as I don't think any other app would be remotely close to as great as this one.
Update: After changing my Facebook password, Dashbird just stopped working with Facebook, asking for reauthorization, but not working even after giving the correct password. Developers need to realise that iOS 5 is obsolete, and start supporting iOS 6's Facebook API, which works smoothly.

Useful for tracking friends on mobile

Right now I just use it for my Facebook account so I don't have to pay to get info on my other accounts. That would be nice but since I don't use Twitter or Tumblr as much as I use Facebook I don't wanna pay for something that doesn't make that much difference to me. However I always like to keep track of who is my friend on Facebook and who has defriended me and Dashbird helps me keep track of that. I checked it on my computer and the friend count it gave me was accurate and I have not had any problems with it to speak of. I don't remember exactly how much they charge for the full version of this but I remember it being a little steep. Dashbird should be totally free or nearly so in my opinion. But I have put the free version to good use tho.

Despite the name, doesn't work for Instagram

I've been using Dashbird for 4 years already. Had paid for the pro version and loved it. It used to support many social networks (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram).
When the API rules changed for both Facebook and LinkedIn almost simultaneously, Dashbird had lost quite a bit of it's love from me, but I still kept it's 5* rating because it worked well for Instagram and Twitter, and in both of these networks tracking your followers is more important anyway.

However, out of the blue and without any warning, Dashbird stopped working for Instagram. Coincidently or not it happened just after the latest update and now it only works for Twitter.

The developer haven't given any words about it, and I only learned that Instagram wasn't supported anymore through 2 words in Dashbird description here.

I would give Dashbird 1* for the behavior from the developer in this case. But because it still works on Twitter, I'm giving it 2 but I wouldn't recommend it anymore because it became an irrelevant one-trick pony.

Facebook out? No idea what prompted you to do that.

I get a message that "Facebook is no longer allowing third party apps to access your Friend's list as of March 30, 2015." Well, funny thing, there is absolutely no information whatsoever that this even happened, nor that FB has instigated this. This is all you, guys. So I am wondering exactly what is going on here. FB has made no such change. Please stop playing around and bring it back. Thanks.
