They will make you download it saying you will receive $75 card after completion, but PlaybookUX won’t let you upload anything. If you try to reach out to them about it, they will ignore you until the end date and then say that the study is over.

Can’t even test my microphone - tried many times. I give up.

You will spend a lot of time and energy doing a test using the Playbook UX app only for it not to upload at the end. I attempted the same test twice and each time, PlaybookUX simply failed to upload the recording. It doesn’t even show any loading screen - it’s just stuck on the Upload Instructions for over an hour.
Playbook UX support articles claim that it’s possible to go find your recording in /Library/Application Support/Playbook UX, but this path is only accessible from a Mac and NOT from an iPhone. I see no evidence that anything I recorded has been saved.

The last two tests I've done on PlaybookUX have not uploaded. I spent about half an hour on each plus the time I waited and waited for them to upload which they never did. I contacted them via email last one after the first issue and no one responded. Today was the second time I waisted my time doing another study and was able to have someone contact me back who is very nice but hasn’t solved my problem and there’s no mention of me getting payment for the time I spent doing the studies.

OMG. I just did a trial run with this and it’s horrible. I’m a UX Designer with 17yrs experience and my wife has her own usability research and testing consultant for the past 15 years. Her client decided she is to use this tool and so she wanted to do a test with me. There are so many other solutions out there. Just walk away from this. No, run.

When I try to start a test, the button does not function. PlaybookUX has many bugs at this point and has not been updated in a while. I will add more stars when PlaybookUX functions properly.

great app & look overall but what bothers me the most is the use of the pause button. you can’t pause right away & have to stop the recording to just pause it. i wonder if it even saves the previous recording

Really great, easy to use, quick to update/fix any bugs. Great company: 10/10 would recommend
