PhysicalTherapy has a lot of potential for facilitating the evaluation of physical therapy patients or for self-evaluation. However the user interface needs improvement. PhysicalTherapy instructs users to place your phone either in your pocket or on your hip while taking measurements for the evaluation exercises. This introduces inaccurate measurements when the phone is placed in a pocket because the stop button can’t be accessed immediately when the timer stops. Perhaps the software developer could devise a way to start and stop the exercise timer with voice commands via Siri.
I love using OneStep! Not only do I get appropriate exercises to help with my recovery, but I also have the opportunity to consult with a physical therapist. I’ve been using PhysicalTherapy to analyze my walking symmetry, and the information and support I get is extremely helpful. ❤️❤️❤️ PhysicalTherapy!

I am working with a PT through PhysicalTherapy to prepare for hip replacement surgery. The PT is personable and knowledgeable. We “meet” monthly and she suggests exercises. The videos of each exercis are clear and well done. It is a useful and professionally don app.
This is an excellent way to learn more about being out of balance when simple walking.
This exercise program has been wonderful for me. I don’t have to leave my home and can start each day , doing my program specifically designed for me.
My referrals for PT ran out a while back but I haven’t actually recovered fully from my broken ankle. This is an amazing solution. They gave me an exercise plan right away and I also get to finally ask all my questions to someone. It’s really helpful.
This is such a functional use of technology. This will open doors to people who can’t get PT through the medical system. It is still guided and tailored to the individual but the self pace really made a difference in my recovery!

I was a little skeptical when I signed up, but One Step is really great. I was given a first set of exercises to do and as soon as I finished them my assigned physical therapist texted me to see how it went. She was always ready to adjust the exercises if they were too hard or too easy and always willing to answer my questions. At first I thought it was too expensive, but compared to visiting a physical therapist, it is not. In addition, I can do the exercises anytime I want and how RebeccaJHBoften I want. I have greatly improved my walking and my strength. Both of my knees and both of my hips have been replaced!
Well I spent most of my time in recovery at home, but-there became a point where I needed to be able to travel for work and do physical therapy by teleconference in my hotel rooms. I googled it and found PhysicalTherapy, and has been the answers to my prayers! I get individualized one on one treatment. five stars!! they are never too busy to know the ins and outs of my case each time we speak they can modify each treatment/exercise/therapy session to accommodate for pain and stretching. This was a real life changer. I love the service! Would definitely recommend
PhysicalTherapy is like having your own Private Physical Therapist at your disposal. The programming, feedback and accessibility are second to none. I am using it as a supplement to my in person PT. It could easily be my single source of PT and will be when in person PT visits end. Download it and engage with it, you will not be disappointed.
I was skeptical at first but I soon realized that this works even better than “brick & mortar” phys therapy BECAUSE Erin, my therapist is so available and responsive. I never have to wait for my next session to address any concerns. I just type a little note and next thing I know, I get her response and problem solved!
PhysicalTherapy is amazing. It gives me all the perks of a personal physical therapist with none of the hassle of going out to a PT facility. My OneStep therapist designs programs specifically for me and is always available for help, suggestions, and alternative exercises if I need them. I really like the daily walk analysis to help gauge my progress in regaining function after hip surgery.
It’s a bit of a learning curve with people who are not very tech savvy, but in the long run it saved me hours and money, and was just as much as what I got an outpatient physical therapy. My therapist explained it to me very well how this can be beneficial for certain populations, she was also available to answer any of my question or concerns and got back to me always.
PhysicalTherapy is great. Helps show me how I am walking and helps me achieve my health and fitness goals.
I also love the ability to talk with my licensed Physical Therapist via PhysicalTherapy and via video for check ins and updates to my program.
I also get reminders when I have slacked off a bit to reach out or start up again. It is like having a personal Physicial Therapist living with you. But you don’t have to provide room and board. Ha ha.
PhysicalTherapy is great! I REALLY like the Daily Walk Check-In. It lets me know how my stride, gait, and other things that I was concerned about after my total hip replacement. Sometimes I feel like I’m not walking normal and PhysicalTherapy can tell me what’s going on. Also, the personalized physical therapy is very helpful. I can rate how easy/difficult it is after each day and my PT will change it up for me. No more driving to PT and spending a lot of down time there. I highly recommend it!!
I have been working for OneStep for 3 months now and can honestly say it’s allowed me to provide the highest quality of care to my patients. All too often, PTs are overworked and can’t provide individualized care to keep sup with the demands of insurance based payments. At OneStep, I am able to isolate my time to each patient to ensure their needs are met and questions are answered. This is one of the best apps for working with a real physical therapist! It has the ability to communicate back and forth with your PT and also has a BOT that sends you brief teachings. Love how my exercises are scheduled by OT through PhysicalTherapy , love how you can rate your pain and describe its characteristic and it’s sent directly to your PT, and love how your personal PT modifies your workout accordingly. The exercises are wonderful, and I am getting stronger each day and my joints and muscles are moving better. Definitely rate this 5 star app! Would recommend it 100% and is cost effective!
